Hopefully I'll be able to make it again this year, last year I only made it because it was raining and I closed my workplace early. If I can't close it early hopefully the owner will have hired someone I can call to take my place that night. If not, I'll just have to make it late if I'm not exhausted. Love these gatherings.

Sometimes you are so lost, girl. It's as if though you were being human.

It's been 15 days since the last strong and pretty post.

Quote:Having witnessed the state of various public restrooms of both genders, I dispute the association of lack of potty training with men.
Having cleaned them, I can attest to this. I have no idea how the myth that the men's room is dirtier than the women's started. But I can assure you, it's a myth. -
What side do you pick more than others? 100% Villain
What play style do you prefer? Solo or SFs. I rarely team just to do newspaper missions.
What power set(s) do you favor? None really, I have a 50 Dominator, 50 Brute, 50 Mastermind, and 50 Crab Spider.
What zones do you like the most? Cap Au Diable
Do you usually play as a male or female (word of hatred) ''toon''? Mostly evenly split.
Views on Role Playing? I enjoy it and do seek it out, but rarely start it. I also really can't do the whole just stand there and chat in character, I prefer to "play" (as in fight enemies) and roleplay.

I want to see this so badly. Pretty much the only movie I'm planning on going to the theater for. -

Quote:True enough, no doubt every MMO company out there sometimes wish they could burn the idea of forums to the ground. But they're also too useful to not use :P.Granting forum access to customers with entitlement issues.
Quote:Bases
More specifically, intertwining PvP code with bases in such a manner as to make it nigh impossible to work with.
Should have made separate options; PvP and non-PvP.

Quote:I've asked the devs this question before at HeroCon and the Plummit.
Yes, the Arena/Gladiator concept was one of them. Several, however, said that what they regretted, they couldn't actually discuss (Hegner even says he's sworn to silence about SOMETHING or another).

Quote:This is a very important point. The problem with ED wasn't that it happened at all but that it happened -after- the game had been around for a few years. Had the Devs worked this into the system from Day One no one would have ever known the difference in the first place.
ED was a necessary evil which allowed the game to introduce IO sets (and later the Incarnate system) in a balanced way.
Without ED these future additions would have never been possible. -
Quote:As a Zombie and Ninja player, I disagree. Back then, my pets would never close into use their most powerful attacks, their melee. They would sit back and vomit or throw stars without trying to hack them to pieces or kick them in the face. I still have awful memories of using that auto-crit hide on my Jounin only to have them waste it on a dart. Sure, it still happens from time to time now, but it is much rarer than before.Back in Issue 11, I had a Thugs/FF MM. During this time, I want to say that the Pet AI was golden. Anytime I wanted to attack a spawn, I only had to order my pets to attack when they were in range to use their AoEs (didn't need BG mode) and they would use their cone attacks (punks and enforcers) immediately EVERY TIME. Now? They usually start with running into melee range to use a single target range attack or something. Or my arsonist runs into melee range to punch the biggest foe in the face right before tossing a fire bomb in the group.
Robots are no better. While fighting KoA, I tell my bots "No, stay there while the caltrops are on the ground, you will go nuts if you run into melee range!" What do they do? They run right in there and do nothing but try and get away all the while being killed by the DoT and the KoA.
All I can say is I would be playing my MMs more if they did something about this.
Trick Arrow suffers from very low debuff values due to a Mastermind's debuff mod. I personally am leveling a Zombie/Sonic to replace my Zombie/TA. Although with Bots you might have an easier time since they're not as fragile as the Zombies and the lack of damage mitigation in TA may not be as pronounced. -
I know you said you don't like Corruptors, is it mainly because of their squishiness? If so, I recommend you look at a Dual Pistols/Sonic Resonance Corruptor. With Tough, Sonic Dispersion, and a patron shield, you can reach up to 68% resistance to Smashing/Lethal and for example, an electric shield, up to 50% energy resistance. Add Weave, Maneuvers, Hover or Combat Jumping, and Stealth and you can get up to 16.5% or so defense in combat without looking at any IO set. If you want to, you can invest minimally as many of the sets that go up to level 50 have HP bonuses in the third slot bonus. Not to mention, Sonic Dispersion protects you, the caster, from holds, stuns, and immobilization. You are still weak to sleeps, but since sleeps break when you take damage, it won't matter in solo play. Now that does mean running 6 toggles, but as a meleer, I'm sure you're used to it. It's no Scrapper, due to the lower HPs, but I do believe most Scrappers don't get S/L resists that high themselves.
If you go Defender, you can get up to 20% defense and your resists will cap out at 75% which you can reach yourself with the three aforementioned powers at the cost of getting your attacks later and suffering a noticeable damage loss when you team up with at least 3 players or more. -
I'm personally interested in the ghostly showdown for the baby. It's a shame that they got rid of the gays contesting for it so soon, but the rest of the haunts should put up an interesting battle. I admit, I put off watching the show for too long but I'm glad I finally caught it.

Every MMO's dev team has something they regret implementing.
In Everquest, Verant actually said that they wish they could take back "Complete Heal" from Clerics. That if they could have done it a second time, they would have never put it in game to begin with. This was back sometime in 2000-2004.
In World of Warcraft, Blizzard admitted to adding arenas having been a mistake that they wish they hadn't committed. Don't quite remember when this was mentioned.
In EVE, CCP has pushed back their human player models and placed that part of the game in the backburner leaving it in the incomplete state it currently is in. Although this isn't an outright admission like the other two, it is the most recent.
I ask myself that if they could, would they have done buffing/debuffing differently? There are already some hints that they would have, with that plan way back when to give them diminishing returns. Or if they would have made Defense harder to stack for non-defense sets? I recently thought of that as I was *walking* in RWZ with my /Elec Armor brute and with just one bubble that accidentally hit me, I was at 51% Lethal/Smashing defense. -
I've always loved E.S. Posthumus' music but my respect for them grew when they covered Moonlight Sonata.

I hope you mean that Illusion Control is not coming with I22 and rather just "not". I still dream of an Illusion Control Dominator, specially now that pairing it up with Dark Assault is a possibility.
-
I've only heard mention of Dark Control, nothing about Dark Assault. And what would Dark Affinity be? Couldn't be an Epic pool, they've already got Soul Mastery for their netherworld needs.

I watched a few minutes of some Irish movie on a premium channel yesterday and they had English subtitles... despite the fact that they were speaking English.

I actually suggested exactly this quite a while ago. It's been two years though, so I'd change a few ideas in my suggestion.

Did the trial this morning with a completely random PuG (using the LFG tool and everything!). Ended up with two MMs and two Brutes (I was one of the brutes). Aside from the MMs being Demons and Bots, and clogging up the entirety of the first part, the run went smoothly. We were just running around the graves ignoring the Abomination and we killed 99 and the Abom with about 2 or 3 minutes to spare.

So let's say I agree and I'm taken care of, since I'm off the grid, the traveler's future never comes to pass. Since his future never happens, he has no need to go back in time to tell me of my transgressions. So since I never see him, I go back to my world ending ways.
