  1. I agree a ton with Laevateinn.

Speed pool for hasten goes onto every toon, as well as Fighting for tough and weave.

manuevers and tactics if needed to soft cap. (tactics takes rectified reticle for S/L defense) If they arent needed than stealth as I like to stack it with the celerity proc to ghost through missions if I'd like.

Last is for travel. I prefer the versatility of flight. Plus it helps hover and afterburner take LotG and knockback protection. A toon usually needs one or the other if not both.
  2. I have a Street/Fire Brute worked out on paper and done a couple different builds in MIDS that looks like It'll be sick. Have a couple new 50s that I'm working on first tho.
  3. Clearly the Dev's think we have become too overpowered and future slots will have mediocre effects with outrageous costs.

minor? or better? cause bruising doesn't stack and that proc does. Probably more so in the superior version.
  6. Love the concept, hate the name.

I think it would give some great story lines and missions.

Now just make the leader a super powered villain playing it off that he doesnt have powers (getting rid of other supers means he has less to stop him) and I'll back the idea up 200%.
  7. Decided to throw something together. My build achieves soft cap to both S/L and to E/Ne and has more recovery all while keeping your power choices. Downside is less regen, by about 3 hit points a second, and hasten recharges 7 seconds longer than your build. But with the force feedback proc that shouldnt be a problem.

  8. Going to bed right now so just took a quick look but foot stomp without the force feedback +recharge proc makes me sad. It has a 10% chance to give you 100 to your recharge for a short burst. That 10% is for each target you hit. move a slot over to rage and put two rectified recticles in place of the one Gauassians you wont lose your S/L soft cap as two rectified provide the same defense as 6 oblits.

Do you use boxing as part of your attack chain? cause right now you have punch, haymaker, and knock out for single targets.

My advice, drop spring attack, pick up jab and throw kinetic combat in it. Lose the Glad armor proc. There is a -to hit enhancement that gives smashing lethal defense. you can slot that into rise to the challenge. As i said, the force feedback proc in foot stomp. I would also keep laser eye beams as it provides -def and can take the anchilles heel proc.

  10. Every single one of my toons is mutant other than the SoA for obvious reasons.
  11. We really need an extra power choice and slots. It was hard enough fitting the first sets in. These are going to be a pain when they come out. Having to rebuild my toons to fit them and still maintain soft capped to whatever and high recharge.

And before the "you dont have to use them", the brute and scrapper procs are must haves. Kinda like the ones in the first set were must haves.
  12. pros: it has holds. So make your controller really able to lock down everything.

Cons: I only saw one form of -regen and it was -50. which is garbage.

Also, if you really want the extra holds time manip will give them to you as well but with the added bonus of extra recharge and defense.
  13. On my server, Champion, when I wanted the elusive mind power for my main I got on the forums and asked for help and ended up making an event out of it.

Hopefully your server is also filled with incredibly helpful individuals.

My main is a villain btw.

Maybe not, but than after you and the 200 other players who relinquish their bank account info get a bazillion slots total that small amount of space it takes up will amount to a lot.

Just kind of takes away from the impact of finally beating the big bad leader of the Praetorians and saving the dimension from tyranny, along with 20-something others. I hoped the big confrontation with the man behind it all would be a bit more personal, like a special Incarnate Taskforce or something. Then that would lead into something more suitable for a Trial, the battle against Hamidon as the people of Praetoria evacuate from the Devouring Earth.

    Oh well :\

So it takes anywhere from around 16 to 24 of us to beat up on his generals but you want it to only take 8 to defeat tyrant?

I''ll be pretty disappointed if he "transforms" before we get a chance to beat him up the way he is now first.

Transformations should be brought upon by desperation and being near defeat. Transforming first seems anti climatic.
