Mid's ?? Re: Enhancement Boosters

How does one get the effects of enhancement boosters to show in a Mid's build? Is this even possible? I have a slew of them, and would like to see what the numbers will end up being before I start spending them.

I'd also like to see how a Hami that is enhancing 2 attributes compares to a lvl 50 dual type IO that has been boosted 5 times..

When you select what enhancement you want, hover over it and press the + button to enhance it. Press + 5 times to make a 5 times boosted enhancement.

at slots/enhancement tab->set all relative levels to-> +5. Downside of this it will also set procs and ATO's to +5 for procs there is no problem for ATO's then can't be boosted so mids show wrong numbers on power which they are slotted.

Wow. Not sure I would ever have stumbled across that trick. Glad I asked. Thank you so much for the reply.

Excellent info.

I wonder if using the - key in the same manner allows us to reduce the level of an IO; useful when considering procs I think.

*runs off to check*

<No, it doesn't>

- button will only reduce if its already boosted.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure how to change the level of enhancements. I think it must be set to automatically set them to their highest level. I havent checked if theres a way to turn that off (I'm sure there is), but havent needed to do so myself.

Could be a good suggestion for them to add though, the basic code must be in place already.

Any idea how to make suggestions?

Try typing the number of the level you want while hovering over it

Thanks Codewalker.

We're all learning here. Except maybe Code if the boost thing was already known.

Umm...where is this + button that you're speaking of? I'm trying this and I'm not seeing a + button anywhere. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, help.

It's on your keyboard. Probably next to the delete key.

There is an option in one of the menus to set it. I am not home so I can't look at it. I will edit later if you don't find it. I usually set everything to 30 on my builds so that I make sure all bonuses are good to at least that level for exemplaring occasionally. Even if I don't do it a lot, that one time that I would lose soft cap defense or perma hasten or something pisses me off.

To set IO level globally: Options->Configuration->Default IO Level. That will affect all IOs placed *after* the change. Then if you want to reset your active build there's a big shiny "Set all IOs to Default" button right there, or back out on the main screen there's Slots/Enhancement menu, "Set all IOs to...."

If you want to change the level of a single piece (I often buy LotG procs in bulk at L25, so I need to double check that I'm still getting enough +Def from them.), you right-click on the slot to pop the place enhancement window, hover over the piece you're about to place, and just type the level you want it to be. Then + or - to play with boosters, then click to place as normal. (Note that the typed level is "sticky", so if you go to place more IOs, they'll all come in at the typed level until you type a new level.)
