Depends how many slots you can save for Jolting Chain.
Elec/Elec/Mu sees me trying to get bywith a lot of four- and five-slot set ups.
If I could spare it: Negative energy proc (purple), chance for hold (ranged IO), smashing proc (KB set), +recharge (KB set), and two 50 IO Accuracies.
Would that +Recharge benefit me or the target on each part of the chain that procs?
Oh well, I doubt I'll get enough slots free to do this!
EDIT: Hmm, was looking it up... Decimation's build up proc... considering how many targets it can hit....
And there's also a PVP ranged IO damage proc (heck, if you have enough set bonuses... slot all 6!) -
These are the kind of shows that can be derailed for not enough ratings or budget constraints.
This is also going against Glee and NCIS (the first I tape for the family, the second I tape for me - and my DVR only allows two shows watched or recorded at once). I watched it in the backroom ... and enjoyed it.
I understand pilots can have bigger budgets and hope they can maintain their FX shots for future shows. I agree with the posts here: like the cast, like the show.
Grade: B+
Regardless of the direction it goes, NOF has me for one season. I hope it succeeds (and maybe find a less brutal time spot. Plllllllllllease not a Friday or Saturday, ABC. /glares at FOX). -
I think on a full team I hit a christmas gift, hit the defense cap (number was 225 percent or so) and ... the darn eyeballs could still hit me at decent clip.
-
Single Target Immobilize has -KB.
The AoE Immobilize does not. It also drains endurance well and is made to work well with Jolting Chain and Conductive Aura.
Unless you really need the -KB or ST DPS, skip the ST one. -
Yeah ... you could probably live without... 5...oooh, maybe 10 points of damage per attack ... from your cannon fodder.
I still think about Phantom Army when slotting Gang War... where Illusion Control badly needs aoe damage.
Thugs - not so much. -
Depends: You can still Frankenslot Gang War outside of the two procs unless you're in love with the set bonuses.
-
I thought only Gang War took Recharge sets. Unless you're asking where to put final slots.
EDIT: I'm too nervous about filling two spots on a pet that only help one aspect. Consider a Acc/Mez HO (would also help his KO Blow... I think). -
I wish I had the time for that, Bill. I have a brute running the Villain Merit every other day but classes/work keep me from running TFs during the day to get the regular merits to speed things up.
I'm trying: hero merit run in the morning, Villain merit run at night. Hero side takes a bit longer (controller, so Carnies/Malta can be a little bit of an issue if I "MISS!"), so I'm debating a second villain.
13.5/30 on the villain, 3.5/30 on the hero.
/sighs
And this may be the only thing using H/V Merits that is worth the time and money (past the 2 merit ones). -
Or at least to make Purple and PvP IOs like Hamidions in that they can not be sold at vendors. I haven't made that mistake yet but it freaks me out if I have one (I usually rush to make one when they drop lol).
I'm better with adding an "Are you sure?" window (that can be turned off from the help menu) for IO vendor selling and even give an option for threshold. Threshold = Prompt on Purple/Prompt on Orange. -
1. I made an Ice/Electric Tanker to combine endurance drains. This can be done on an elec/elec, but Ice/ is defensive based and has a max hit point power.
2. Theme! Ice/Kinetic Tanker for a praetorian-robot police theme (I colored the kinetics and ice shields to look like force fields).
3. I like having defensive-based toons prior to IOs so I don't have to go billionare crazy to softcap.
4. The new tanker hit point cap means you get more out of Frostwork. -

For now pass (as I still haven't bought Science or Mac Edition stuff) but looks fun. I'll wait to see people use in game before saying anything about the price.

I have no issue with open world mobs running away. It's when hostage mobs run and the hostages, with no guards within hundreds of yards of them, just stay there patiently cowering.
I'd hope for some visual idea why this happens (handcuffs, chains, force fields, etc.) and the running guards have the key to get them loose. -
Quote:Somewhere... deep in your mind... you want to make a Shadowrun MMO. (/endhypnosis)Your Decker should be hacking the enemies Smartlinks or tossing Drones at them during the action part of a run. In that regard, 4th and 4a are considerably more friendly than previous editions. You're right though, in that during the legwork portion the parts of the team not involved in such can get bored...but then, that's the case in any game where some characters specialize in non-combat and others specialize in combat.
A good GM can keep things going and/or integrate even the most hardcore min/maxed sam into the legwork mix. -

Done. And to warn you, the alcohol cooks off during the process. BYOB to enjoy with it.
No: Seriously? I guess I could make the bacon and the cookies at different times this just wrap them around the cookies like a chinese Dim Sum.
Yes: Syrup in cooking works. -
In other news, veteran players are forced (GASP!) to play their existing toons to try out the Alignment system! I smell a plot!
Anywho... should I bake cookies while we wait? -
Darn it, Bill. Now I want to mail you Beer Cookies.

I had a safeguarded selection of names and found out the hardway deleting one of them removes the slot from my account while the Online Store is down.
I didn't lose a great name if someone grabs it but a bit depressing I can't get cranking on the new zone with new sets.
I'm sure it'll be back up... soon(tm). -
No worries. I saw that post about the financials. Most of us know not to panic over numbers like that. I am curious about the Going Rogue quarter's numbers and only wish Paragon Studios the best.
I now have to decide on going through with my Gamestop preorder for the mini-IOs or saving $10... -
This is meant to be a hey! We got an ad! Save money! post more than anything.
-
Searching through the back-to-school editions of store ads usually has some decent deals on games and movies... but I came across this on Page 16 of Sunday's Best Buy ad:
City of Heroes: Going Rogue (Includes City of Heroes, City of Villian and Going Rogue).
$29.99, Save $10. Reg. Price $39.99.
EDIT: Link!

RE-EDIT: Removed snarky comment. I'm inherently snarky! Sorry! -

Well, they knew where the professor worked/lived and his cover prevented him from leaving town effectively. There was on rush to check for "false" walls.

Quote:Is it wrong that I want to get into a fight in each of those places, doing so much property damage I have to work overtime for about 5 years to pay for it?Can we get some nice restaurants/pubs. Every time I'm wonder around Nerva, I see some really nice outdoor seating. Yet the only 'social' indoor atmosphere (leaving certain aspects aside,) are the bars Pocket D which have all the atmosphere of a college town dance club the morning after a weekend party. The Tiki Club is nice, but it is not accessible to everyone.
Seating is lacking or unusable, the place is never clean and most of the bar stools have been stolen.
It'd be nice if there were several locations throughout the zones that are restaurants on the outside, and if you click on the door, you enter someplace like this...
