Do you know what version of drivers you are running for that card?
-
Should be in the program listing under NCSOFT. Alternatively rift click the CoH shortcut, hit properties, then "find target". It will open the folder with the launcher highlighted.

-
Also, the Dual (and team possibly, can't recall the context at the moment) will apparently have a cooldown.
-
Note : if you have not already, I'd recommend the Going Rogue complete collection - month of sub, the powersets, 2 slots, and some goodies on the side.

None of the email options affect sending email. And this is the kind of thing they would announce in the regular notes if nothing else.
-
To me, the thing that seems wrong is the power supply. 300W?

Quote:Boot/reinvite works (although not always an options).I think this part is referring to the team status list bug, where sometimes one or more player's health and endurance bars are invisible as if they were in another zone. It seems to occur randomly and can be very annoying. This is a newish bug -- the game did not have it until recently -- and we expect it to be fixed eventually.
There is a workaround, however. If the star (team leadership) is passed, it immediately clears up the teamlist. If you don't want to leave the star on the new team leader, he or she can just immediately pass it back to the original leader. My playing groups are so used to doing this that we just say "Star" whenever the bug appears, and immediately flip the star to fix it.
Also, it seems if the leader enters last it fixes it. I've heard (but never tried) using teleport to also fix it. -

Anyone have any idea? If so, please post to help the OP. -
Quote:To confirm - you tried loading the altered options file via /option_load which auto-applies?Tried mouse_invert, same error. Tried loading, it loaded but when he tried to applu what he loaded it gave that error.
Any time he tries to change anything on the options or keybinds on the trial, either via menus or via / commands, he gets the error that he can't do that on a trial account. -
Quote:That's... odd. First, I'd make sure that changing those settings is the ONLY thing he's changing - there are several settings that might be affected by the trail restrictions (although known restrictions do not include locking any options), but those should not not.So, I sent this to support, but figured I should ask here:
So, I got my friend to try City of Heroes trial. Unfortunately, the trial restrictions don't allow him to change some very important settings such as the tooltip delay and the mouse invert.
He really doesn't like the default mouse settings, and wants to change the setting. But every time he tries it says he can't save it because he has a trial account.
Not a good way to encourage people to try your game is it? To make them play it unable to change any settings with a mouse setup that they can't use. He's a MMO player, not a FPS player and hates the defaults.
I tell you, we try to help you by getting you more players, then you handicap them to this extent. Sigh.
So how do we fix this?
One thing he can try is /mouse_invert
Might work. Might need a 1 or 0 at the end.
Don't know of a tool tip display command.
One option that MIGHT work is using the option save/load commands edit the options file and have him load that via slash command. -

Quote:They said series we listed as a single item when they where (in essence) a single story - such as the Drizzit books, Lord of the rings, etc. The discworld books share a setting but each is a distinct and separate story.Ouch. That was painful to narrow down. I just voted against some books I really respect and some authors I really love, but ten votes doesn't go far. I chose to focus on the books that helped make me who I am, regardless of their impact on the field of literature or the world as a whole. I owe my sense of humor to Douglas Adams, and my wedding ring to Thomas Covenent.
Some series I voted against because they made it the whole series. I may have loved the first book or three, but I so hated the rest of them that I couldn't bring myself to vote for the series as a whole. But then two of Pratchett's Discworld books showed up independently, but not the series as a whole? That seemed odd. I'm sorry they had Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series which I never read instead of his Dresden books, which I love. -
Quote:Plus, Selina had at least some depth outside the "Catwoman" thing in TAS - always like her character. Never did see the Halle Berry movie, but all I seem to recall from batman returns is some chick fell off a building and got licked by cats...They may be trying to distance Hathaway's character from the previous Catwomen we've seen. Probably not exactly a bad idea when you consider the Halle Berry disappointment. As I mentioned before I wouldn't exactly be upset with a more Aeon Flux'd version of Catwoman.

Quote:Not only that, Shield can only be paired with the melee sets. However, a lot of those animations were nearly identical to their stock counterparts, because shields used the same basic stance as normal attacks. For Rocket Boards, they'd need much brand new animations for everything.
Rocket Board would also be usable with EVERY powerset in the game. -

The incarnate xp issue has been fixed, and the fix fixed (the first spread the iXP around equally but lessened it, the second boosted it back up to where it was supposed to be).

Quote:They are simply calling them purchasable powersets since "premium" already has another meaning in this game.I hope this is the case.
This is what I'm worried about.
Yes, we have much to choose from already. I understand that. Yes, we've "paid" for power sets previously (ala CoV and GR) but those were bundled with considerably more content.
I guess (for me) it's going to come down to 1- How much the "premium" power sets cost, 2- How many are released and 3- How frequently they're released.
Anywho, that's my 2inf.
And Recon - the powers that are purchasable and added to a character all are true temporary powers and granted (based on other glimpses of the system) only to a single character per purchase.
The purchasable POWERSETS will require you make a new character; they are purchasable because of extra time spent in the mechanics and arts departments - they will not be more powerful just because they are bought. -

Quote:MMOs suffer from "Ghosts in the Machine" - code interacting with other code and hardware in ways that CANNOT be /foreseen/.I am sure running a MMO is complicated, but it just seems they get stuck with lots of unexpected issues. Couldn't they hire more talented folks who might be able to get ahead of problems and expect stuff?
Quote:I get rid of people who continually get surprised doing their jobs.
Even the servers are all different from each other - they try to make them has identical as possible, but each (beta, Test, and each of the live servers) have been customized to their individual loads. Combined with the fact that parts can fail with no warning (and then must be tested before allowing them to go back online to make sure the replacements work properly) happens. And you cannot always (rarely, in fact) foresee a part failing.
The hip people play Beghouled. -
Quote:I like - although it would be interesting to see what it would look like witht he hat on instead (which we can't) - but for the contacts downstairs, looking a little busy (In this case, like maybe she was pulled out of tearing something appart) isn't bad.Caitlin Murray-Davies: Prodigy computer tech and represented currently by a red hat (that we can't use) and a generic dress: Not much inspiration that. I was initially debating going the "Freakshow butchered her during captivity" angle but that didn't appeal to me (I already cyborged up her husband Rick Davies, which is more then enough limb chopping for one family). Instead I came to the conclusion that if she is still around after the fall of Galaxy she might end up just sharing the Atlas DATA offices with her husband, and so I gave her a variant of the general worksuit I ended up experimenting on with him. The goggles are intended to regain the bit of red lost with the hat's removal.
The original model has unpleasantly yellowish skin I couldn't find a good match for. Not that I'd want to. Anyway, here is the code:
Quote:Got one last one in before the servers went down. Forgive me for the time of day. I only had three or so minutes left.
Serafina:

I kind of went with the same pink/blue theme for the bottoms and veil, and threw in a splash of green here and there. I also gave her the wristbands to make up for the lack of metal where the belt was. I went with the steam punk belt option to give a sort of layered fabric feel similar to Persian belly dancers (which was what I referenced for this costume). I kind of like it personally, feels a little less trashy and a bit more d jinn to me.
Most lore I've encounter has those bracelets/band as the signs of being bound to granting wishes. Right now she's kinda a half genie - unable to grant (much less being bound to grant) other's wishes besides the previous Sirocco's last one. -
It depends - at the time, did Stephen have anything to not-die for? With GR it's dedication to Arachnos - at the time, the most dedication Stephen would of had would be either to Marcus or his sister Monica.

P.S. Nor can you add the same code twice
