So im wondering if this would be strong enough to run CoH on its highest settings without getting interference. And if so, just how strong would it be in comparison of games like SC2 in which some of its highest settings are rather absurd.

To me, the thing that seems wrong is the power supply. 300W?

eh, I got a 5770 to boot at full clocks off a 300watt, so yeah, it's possible.

Just not really recommended.

It all depends on how many watts are available at 12 volts with a 300 watt PSU. Most store units from HP/Compaq, it's not a lot (maybe half, less than 2/3rds).

The 2nd gen iX-2xxx series of CPUs don't come close to their rated wattage in normal, even game, use. The OEM GT 530 (similar to the GT 430) is only a 50 watt max card.
