You can open the launcher without automatically running the game.
You need to just run the Launcher exe, not the shortcut to CoH.
If you don't have a shortcut set up for it or some icon for the NCsoft Launcher somewhere... just go to the launcher's location... likely C:Program Files... ummm... I'm not on my gaming computer at the moment... is it under NCSoft folder or something...
And find the .exe for the launcher (should be clear and obvious) and open it... Voila... it'll stay open without launching any games!

Yep look for the NCSoft folder or a shortcut with a big N on a black background.
Should be in the program listing under NCSOFT. Alternatively rift click the CoH shortcut, hit properties, then "find target". It will open the folder with the launcher highlighted.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
On the advice of several SG mates and friends, I set my NCSoft launcher to "not run in the background".
Now I'd like to get at it to check settings, and it closes immediately after launcing the game. I'm just not quick enough to click the "Settings" and change it back so I can access it.
Any suggestions?
