There is a dfference. Brutes are Melee/armor, Tankers Armor/Melee.

He also could of said "Dominators are not Controllers" or "Corruptors are not Defenders" - they may able to share roles but they play different.

And I believe the intent other's had about the Forums by Role was :

Under "Melee DPS" there would be brutes (linking to forum "78" or whatever number it has)

Under Tanking would be Brutes, also linking to forum "78" - basically bringing in how the new character creator is set up.

Yes. The points are money, and are not a VIP feature (the VIP feature is them auto-magically giving you the 400/550 every month :P)

As far as what you would keep vs. lose as a VIP - if it's in the market see the descripton. if it states "VIP Content" then it's something you get for free, but would need to pay for to use as a Premium. Such as Time Manipulation. And yes, if you don't buy it, and drop to prem, you do have characters with it locked out.

Epic Pools are the 35+ Power pools that are AT specific.

PPP - Patron Power Pools - Must unlock via a patron story arc. Patrons are regular villain contacts, as such must be a Villain or Rogue to talk to them. Once unlocked, your's to keep even if you go Blue.

APP - Ancillary Power Pools - The "hero" epic power pools. No need to unlock, everyone gets them at 35+ regardless of Alignment. Even Loyalist and Resistance

Still hoping for some kind of balance to give heroic PPPs. Maybe some kind of Guild/Society/Group PP? :P

Only need a respec to claim it on old characters if they had already started the fitness pool.
And rocketboard is actually level 1 or 2.

I think part of the issue is how they have it tied into the game account system.

1) Either move Tech issues to player help, OR post a link/announcement (not a sticky post, one like the link to current board policy) at the top of Player help or questions.

2) In pt. 3 of the revised TOS, it doesn't mention character names and it should. Maybe include a note that posting your own is okay (unless legal wants to get tightwad about that bizarrely reading clause in the fame EULA).

3) Pt 4 makes it sound likenits against the rulese to discuss a voluntary/purchased name change.

4) pt 5 - Pyramids - maybe add in your referring to nested quotes? Otherwise the way it reads I could be in trouble for my use of the multiquote feature.

5) Pt 5 - The last bit about asking questions on the board - maybe add a link a d a not to drop a line by the support page if an (immediate) official answer is required/desired

If you paid for going rogue you will always have access to :

The alignment/sideswitching system

The six basic Praetorian zones (Nova, Imperial, Nuetropolis, and their corresponding undergrounds)

The four powersets unlocked. Note, this does not unlock the mastermind or controller archetypes for free to play, but you would have these power sets when you unlock them (Paragon Rewards t5 or inshore onetime unlock purchase)

The two bonus slots if applied prior to freedom



GR, while required to access incarnates prior to freedom, did not include the incarnate system.

Your playing with all limbs whole and hale. Just don't have your fancy orthopedic shoes and super comfy tendonititis gloves right now.

SOs are still perfectly valid for play all the way up to 50.

Also, check out the list at www.Paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Reward - it will list how many tokens you need to unlock/fill T7 for the lifetime liscense, and if you check your rewards screen it will show how many tokens you have total.

Accuracy is NOT to-hit. Accuracy multiples to-hit after defense modifies to-hit, so doesn't hurt as much as a higher base to-hit.

Several the maintenances have been because of unforeseeable issues. Unforeseen does not mean "poorly executed maintenance". As for the IP example, was I given warning? If no, and they knew that it would happen, then yeah, they'd end up giving me compensation.

They have never lowered, that I recall, the SO droprate. Any changes to enhancement drop rates were to TOs and DOs, and only once you were well into the DO and SO drop ranges, respectively, as even pre-inventions many considered the TOs and DOs trash at those points.
