If you're a Rogue, you're still a villain. Same with Vigilante's and being a hero. Not until you finish the transition 100% would your stalker be a hero, or scrapper a villain.

Quote:30% arbitrary, 70% blend of compared to other powers in the same set/other powers in other sets available to the archetype. The damage ratings are pretty much arbitrary. Minor might mean it's the first attack in your chain, or might mean it does 1s at level 50. Minor could mean it does 72 damage (Fire Melee Scrapper) while Moderate for an MM means 30 damage (Dark Blast).
The recharge times are really vague and inaccurate too. Slow can mean anything from 8 seconds to 40, while moderate can mean anything up to 10. Long can go up as high as 360s, while very long can start as low as 60 and go up to 1000. 2s can be called fast or very fast. Fast is even as much as 10s in some powers.
Pretty much one of the reasons why we got real numbers. -
Yes you all would empower eAch others PF. But that one doesn't buff your teammates, only you. Grant cover, however, does stack (that us the one that buffs your teammates)

24 or 72 hours. You could submit a question at support.ncsoft.com or petition about it in game to get an exact figure.

Quote:Neither Rage nor Invincibility are attacks. I did forget Blinding Feint (bad of me, I have it on a 50 WP/DB tank).Blinding Feint from Dual Blades takes them as well. It is identical in function to Follow Up, and I believe the numbers are even the same.
Rage from Super Strength will take them, as will Invincibility (I think)
Needless to say, the point remains. An astonishing few number of attacks take To-Hit buff enhancements, and they merely buff the tohit after the attack. -
Quote:Um, Vambrace was a pair of white guys. The primary brain behind the suit was a nerd in a wheel chair. His friend/best friend was a jock, and he wore the suit (as of the time of the "Web of Arachnos" novels which was shortly after (few years tops) after Recluse and States got their power.)Awesome! But is this canon? I mean, it's obviously a nice gesture on the part of players, but how do we know what ethnicity everyone was?
Can't remember if they mentioned Elementar/(Elemenstar?)'s ethnic background, but his profession was a weatherman. -
Two thi g I use they keys for :
A global channel send macro - with an itsy bitsy delay after the "/"because it would catch the other keys otherwise.
A /dialougeyes (or whatever the command is) maco which is nice for htting yes without chasing the onscreen buttons with the mous - used for accepting emergency evacs and such. -
Quote:simply /hideall and /unhideallSorry but as others have already mentioned, you can't have a chat window displayed while in other windows such as Tailors.
I /hide and hide from all when I'm about to enter into a screen I don't want to have to back out of until I'm done.
So I hide from all when I'm respec'n, at the tailors, at the market, crafting, or editing my base. Just remember to /hide and deselect everything when yer ready to be social again.
You can also set up keybinds or macros to hide from all and unhide from all to make it easier. I don't have those binds but I'm sure someone out there would be happy to give them to you. -
Quote:Yeah since base defense stacks with all the others, they are very carefully about giving it out. It also as I recall applys against Untyped attacks making it even more rare. That is correct and working properly. Under normal conditions, with no defense debuffs on you, your "Base Defense" will be listed as ZERO. Your typed or positional defenses are applied on top of your base defense to determine your actual defense vs a particular attack, but your defenses do not affect the Base Defense number.
Invuln powers, shield powers, combat jumping, weave, etc - none of these change BASE defense. Off the top of my head, I can think of just two things that affect Base Defense:
1) Defense dubuffs.
2) Personal Force Field -

One thing about movement - I personally move with WASD, using the mouse to aim the camera. I attack with the regular number keys, which is the same hand as the WASD keys, but it doesn't slow me down at all as I'm used to it. So basically ignore what she is doing on the kyboard unless she specifically asks for help with something on the keyboard.
The only thing I would ask/show her is about the Alt and Ctrl keys and how they act as shortcuts to the second and third main power tray. -
Make sure before going into the store to have the character you wish to rename selected on the character select screen.
When you next log in with that character, you will get a popup asking to rename said character. -
Quote:You want the Tech forum (in the Development Sub-forum). That is the players helping players with hardware questions forum, this is more for in-game stuff.i just got a new computer so now i have 2 computers. one of the computers is a emachine el-1600-01: http://www.emachines.com/products/pr...prod=EL1600-01 . it has 1 gb ram. i have a extra 2gb ddr2 mem card i was thinking about popping in it. so before i attempt to do this my question is, if i take out the 1gb mem stick and put a 2gb mem stick in it will it work? the frequency(mhz) on the 1gb mem stick in the machine is 800mhz and the 2gb has 667mhz. can i do this?

Known bug, fix is in route (as in, it's done, just needs to go live).

I would watch the count, though. They might of changed that when they dropped it from 100 to 25.

Basically the name goes through a forumla, turned into a number, and matched up with a color.

Quote:And is one of the few places you can get inspirations on TFs/SFs.
As pointed out by Catwhoorg, you can get inspirations and temp powers there as well. -
From what I understand, SunGryphon, that is technically incorrect.
Deleting your only fifty (apparently) doesn't remove your ability to create new Epic AT characters (for that side), but not infrequently the "Epics Available" flag gets reset. When this happens, you must log into a level 50 to re-enable the ability to create them. -
Quote:1 - You should recieve an email when invited. Can anyone tell me and anyone else that may be wondering how we get into this closed beta once we are able to? Is it just a matter of logging in and having the option? Or is it all on the test server?
2 - If your account is flagged for access, you should also receive access to the beta forums - which are viewable only to those with access. They may or may not be top level listed. So check boards.cityofheroes.com once beta starts, if you normally use a shortcut to the one of language subforums.
3 - Apparently we have confirmation it will be on a separate test server, which indicates we will need to use a separate login instance (as the Live and Test servers are separate logins/clients).
Well, doing a quick check to make sure, it's +8hrs for GMT time from Pacific time.Quote:Well it's during maintenance so around 12 tomorrow is it? I agree with you though Rabbit. All this "Pacific Time" only is really annoying, especially at the moment with Daylight Savings changing over the last few weeks.
So does that mean we're counted as loyal in terms of Closed Beta regardless of whether we cancelled our accounts during this month but still have a week or two left to run on the sub?
And I laugh at your annoyances about Pacific time. But then, most of the people I need to get a hold of at one of my jobs, that are reps for other companies, keep Eastern TZ hours, so I have to worry about making sure to call them by my lunch time. -
Quote:Read what you quoted.Hmm, I wonder what those ToHit buff enhancements are at the end of every list at all of the enhancement stores then?
Those To-Hit buff enhancements are only slottable in powers that buff your to-hit - which matches what Aracnaville said.
The only attack that takes them, I think, is Followup - and that merely buffs the buff you get after the attack is done. Nowhere can you slot To-Hit buff enhancement into a power to increase the power's to-hit chance.
