Once you (as a villain or rogue) unlock the PPPs, upon respecing you can choose any PPP, regardless of alignment.
APPs are always available to all/ -
Quote:They are called "Mitos" not "balls". And that's why I recommended a hold - as the green mitos have a regen "toggle".For Lady Grey, you need some controls to kill those Green "balls". We had one controller on the team and it took a while to kill off Green ball's "shield"? I don't know how you call it but you need to stack quite a few controls on green ones to be able to hurt them. I know just the hold alone from controller is not good enough. I was using Kinetic Stalker so I have some stuns and there was radiation corruptor for stun too.
I don't know how many hold/stun you need to stack but the more the merrier. -
Quote:If post counts don't concern you, why'd you mention "cartel"? As that's a title bestowed by (drum roll please!) post count!Post counts don't really concern me but if you say it does then you must be right, right?

A note about shards, in case you didn't know (and I didn't see it mentioned here) is shards drop differently than other bits of "loot".
Traditionally (for salvage, recipes, etc) when an NPC is defeated, the system goes through a check list of "will a invention salvage drop? Y/N; Will a recipe drop? Y/N" - then decide who gets what does drop.
Shards, on the other hand, are rolled for for each player - so it's not "Will a shard drop" but "Will a shard drop for Player 1? Will one drop for Player 2?" etc. So from one kill it's possible for everyone on a team to get a shard. So larger teams do tend to have more shard drops quicker since they move faster through more enemies. -
A-Merits - out of the recipes you can buy with normal reward merits, the rares cost 1 or 2 (most of the procs or more desired triples/quads) A-merits.
Purple Sets cost about 25 A Merits a recipe, PVP 30-35 A-merits a recipe. -
Mission and Arc limits
7 missions in the queue - used to be 3
5 Major Arcs open, even if none have a mission in the queue - used to be 2
No limits on minor arcs. -
Main thing, I think, is if you can bring some kind of hold to help with the Green Mitos

Quote:The big thing is, since you don't work at Paragon, you don't know what kind of baggage they have. But no offense was intened to you - we frequently get people saying "That would be easy to do!" without knowing what would need to be done, because not only are they not a programmer/etc, they are not one working at Paragon Studios.Do you want to bet? Do you honestly want to bet that I'm not a programmer?
'Cause I do. I really do. What about this, I pull the links for the three games I've made, and THEN you can reconsider. And I use clicking as slang for clipping. It sounds the same in my mind. Alright? Yeesh.
And, my remarkable issue was that I was remarking about the remarkable size of the cleavage in this remarkable game, and said size was an issue for me because I wanted more manly girls. Thus, a remarkable issue.
Any questions?
Do you know how redering works? I'm just asking, do you? YOu realize pulling the files for a muscular male then overlaying it on top of a female model, then merging the render and cutting the insides out is relatively easy, right?
And no, I don't work at Paragon. No, I don't know how the game works. But yes, I am a programmer, yes, I know how easy or hard something would be to render, and yes, you need to read what I've said before commenting.
As a computer term, clipping is well know for being what it is - clicking however is something you do with a mouse; at least that is how most would see it. And how close they are... makes it sound like you were repeating something slightly wrong. -
Quote:Forum threads are living things. And to be fair, the "Slutty" discussion was centered around bewbies.Also. Guys. Since when is this a thread about slutty looks? I just wanted more realistic proportions, never once did I say that boobs = bad. I just expressed distaste with how they were rendering, but did not insinuate that I don't like people with big boobies. If you guys want to have an argument about how to make yourself a ****, then, sure, but let's stay on topic, shall we?
Male, Female, and Blue?
Quote:Wow, I opened up a can of worms.
Sorry GG, it's just that 90+% of female bad guys are portrayed in the media (TV, movies, comics) as over sexualized in both body proportions and dress. And I'm talking the women who when they first appear seem to have the words "HI I'M EVIL" flashing over their heads or at least a "HI I'M UNTRUSTWORTHY". -
Quote:If people from Japan are complaining about unrealistic boob size in this game, have they never watched their own media? I'm pretty sure animators there have to take a "boob physics" class. That's like somebody from Japan complaining that the boobs are unrealistic because none of the women they know are even as large as the smallest setting. Environment alters perceptions of normality.
1. Down. In this case, even it going up would be down.
Quote:Say what?
That makes no sense AT ALL.
The clothes you are wearing is one of the main things that determines your physical appearance.
I thought he had a skin disorder - it wasn't that he wanted to change skin color, it just happened to him. -
Quote:The way I read it the poster was referring to things such as Gr'ai Matter and the Ancient Nictus fragments - the bits you get from TF (-type stuff in the Gr'ai Matter's instance) runs as a chose-able reward. He was responding to the OP stating that they had 7 shards already.
I presume the suggestion to run TFs is because it takes 8 shards to make an uncommon component, so I suppose those could be termed "uncommon shards".
To me I read the post as trying to help get a common boost ASAP with the person having 7 shards at the moment. -
RWZ is a good place to start - especially since it's the same no matter what side you're on.
-
Quote:You mean "common component" not "uncommon shards"If you have 150 Vanguard Merits you can buy the Gr'ai Matter shard from a Vanguard crafting table.
Then you need 1 more common shard to get to 8 so you can either do the common Cardiac or Common Spiritual boosts. (4 to Ancient Nictus and 4 to Hero 1 or 4 to Essence of the Incarnate)
Or you can run TFs to get the uncommon shards.
But you will need at least one more common shard to actually craft a common boost. -
ever use Bill's Moving/Making a test server guide to try and make that EU/NA thing work?

Also, if you click on someone's name, and go to their profile, Under their name on the black bar is a button labled "User Lists" - one option is "Add to Ignore" - prefer that method to make sure you don't accidently ignore someone else.

They are not officially sanctioned (as in documented, and acknowledged by Paragon Stuidos/NC Soft as a singular entity). Winked at, yes - as several of the sounds have been noted to cause issues like migraines, but due to various reasons they will never officially support this.

Quote:No one called you the anti-christ. And while the OP admitted to a bit of oversensitivity (and doing so on forum takes guts!Thank you, Mr. Tyger42 for helping me introduce some logic into the system.
When I point out that the OP's problem might be their overly-sensitive nature instead of the game, I'm suddenly the antichrist.
[shakes head and walks away]), Chaos didn't state any such thing.
Because being blatantly hostile to the OP and others isn't antagonistic at all... right..../Dr. Evil
I think the shoulder slider - especially on the female body type, is one of the more underrated sliders. -
Quote:Anything yet? Or you taking "time off" first? The guys are working on some great new things here, so no real "doom and gloom" should be felt for the future of the game. For my part, it's really just time for something new, you know?
Quote:This was one of the greatest things about Castle getting that position. Before Castle, it was very rare to have a conversation with a developer about exactly how things worked. You got vague statements like "the more damage you do, the more aggro you get", which people took to mean all kinds of things. There were a lot of misconceptions about how Taunt worked until he and Ghost Widow took the time to discover it and he explained it to us, for example. -
Don't know if they were constantly testing it during i19 - I think some/most of it was done before 19, then they pulled it to digest the feedback/etc - and now are putting it back up.
-
Although not a huge part of this game, PvP is also a consideration.
Please note, even the sound mods are against the rules, even if they are ignored as long as we behave. -
Quote:That's why it's/they're a super power. They have minor levitaton/antigravity
(And yeah, as a chick I've always looked at female comics characters and pitied their backs. That's *got* to be painful. ) -

Well the OP is saying it's the attitude by support that would cause him to quit.
Which is odd - rarely have had issues with t1 support here, and t2 is staffed by some awesome peoples
