The pets themselves are not changed just the animation FX (similar to Masterminds).

Not that I actually have a personal use for this feature. I'm just assuming it must exist judging by some of the scenarios in which I receive blind team invites or whispers:

    • I log into the game, my character is inside a building, and there are no other characters present. Nobody can see me, yet I'll get a blind invite within 10 seconds of logging in.

    • Standing in front of an ICON employee working on my costume. I would assume that if another player actually spotted me there, they would know that I can't see the invite popup or my chat window while I have the costume creator interface up, and that I'm probably not going to back completely out of the costume creator (and lose my changes) just to see what that little beep was about.

    • Flying at high speed through a zone and, as a result, being hard to click on, or even read my name as I go by, and getting invite popups.

So I have to assume people are seeing my character on some list and they're inviting me from there. Where the heck is this list?
They are using the search window. Paragon Wiki for more info: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Search_Window

I think there will be one more thing in Praetoria... A trial for Hami and the unlock of the Genesis slot with it using Advanced Physical iXP. I would guess it would be issue 24. That plus Nature Affinity and Bio Armor seems to be a pretty consistent theme for an issue.

The Dream Doctor has True Rez as a spell like ability provided he can catch the soul in time.
Actually, I don't see the human thing being an obstacle. When the Well of the Furies pulled him into Praetoria, it changed his appearance to blend in. This helps protect him from the champions of other Wells.

Just speculation of course, but I think we will be at 50+5 once the current slots are done. I'd guess incarnate shifts for both Mind and Vitae and a full level shift for Omega. No reason reason but symmetry and a gut feeling.

Is this supposed to be happening? I.e. I shouldn't turn it on till after my stealth strike? Or maybe I should consider Assault for this char instead?

Also, does this power count the regen boost from nearby foes as "hits" that use End per enemy like Disrupt? Because with it turned on this char's Endurance is going faster than hotcakes.
Melee has a taunt component and buff bonus based on enemies around you. This is getting you noticed.

Anywho, it is those times that I would love to have cross-server teaming. When they are offline and I would like to do a bit of teaming.

Because the ATs (let alone powersets within the ATs) are not balanced power-wise making something more difficult for those at the higher end, only makes it that much more difficult + the difficulty they had before which is not fun either. This leaves the designer two choices nerf (for those with more power) or increase power (for those with less). Both have pluses and minuses. Increasing the power of those with less instantly reduces the difficulty of everything forcing you to increase the difficulty across the board. Most most don't complain about more power. Nerfing targets those with more power alone. But, risks the user's ire.

I click "Transfer to Other Server", make my choice, and within moments, bam. Teams. Invites. Costume Contests. More players than I can shake an Endurance bar at.

I have my bit of fun, and when I'm done, if I want, I click, "Go Home", and bam, I'm back to Nebula and solo-style play.

That seems like a lot less coding for the Devs than "cross server teaming", but accomplishes about 95%+ of the same things in my mind.

It does vastly reduce the "server transfer token" use, but wouldn't cross-server teaming mostly do that anyway?

Again, I'm not trying to be difficult. I honestly feel like I'm some sort of blind fool, who can't see how obviously awesome cross-server teaming is, because I can't think it's much more than "free unlimited server transfers".

Memphis_Bill - Valid points, I suppose. But again, those can be addressed by making those properties "sticky" when you click "transfer to other server" button.
Because I want to stay on Nebula. That's where my friends are. They just don't happen to be on right now and I want to run a TPN. Doesn't seem to be much interest on here at the moment. It would be awesome if some folks from the other servers are interested and we could go (even if each of our servers individually doesn't have enough interest). No sense in doing 2 transfers (even at a reduced cost) for one trial. Especially, considering I could lose the name of the character I have had for 8 years because of some usurper on Freedom (or even Nebula if some grabs it while I'm gone) for 1 session.

The best solution, have the LFG be cross server to resolve just this situation. Basically, want it comes down to is that server transfers are not a solution to team building on lower population servers. Instead are great for permanent moves. They are a solution to a different issue, the desire to change the server a character resides on (which granted could be because someone dislikes that they are on a low population server because teaming is more difficult).

Now to address the part I bolded. What you are describing is a possible implementation of cross-server teaming if you come down to it. Like you said it accomplishes most of what is desired (though I would put it at a lower percentage). But, IMO, an inelegant simply for the sake being "easier" on the development team and one that is significantly more burdensome on the user. So, you might be thinking what are the burdens. I'll tell you. Rather than bebopping along on Nebula which in the queue maybe organizing over the LFG channel and starting once we have enough, your system requires me to do the follow.

    1) Know all of the server global channels on which Trials and TFs are organized on and subscribe to them. Heaven help you if you are a freem or fremium without access to Globals. Obviously, in my scenario I do since I am clearly a VIP looking for an iTrial.
    2) Either keep tabs on each one to determine what if anything is forming or organize it myself possibly on each server depending on luck that some one is interested in a TPN.
    3) Log out to character select.
    4) Do the transfer.
    5) Wait for the transfer to complete
    6) Get to the launch zone
    7) Do the trial
    8) Go home.

Why is cross teaming awesome compared to what is possible even today? Because it does not get in my way.

The AoE immobs makes the whole group subject to containment for all subsequent attacks with just one power.

I know you "ruled it out" but, I think willpower might be a best secondary with electric melee. It is essentially her will keeping her avatar alive not needing anything or anybody else. Rise to the Challenge reflects the corrupting aspect (even if it is a minor aspect); Strength of Will reflects that extra push of power she can draw as you described upthread; Resurgence for that can't kill her aspect.

I'd do Electric/Willpower/Pyre. The vitures of electric already spelled out. Fire is just destructive and chaotic. The powerset combo is a hodgepode of basically cosmic forces which is what you seem to be describing.

However he seems to think that you can only be level 50+1 - in other words, no matter how many level shifts you have you still only get +1.

That seems rather odd to me - it disincentivises any reason to get the other level shifts, and counter to my experience, but I figured I'd consult the oracle and see what it brings.
It works like this. There is a +1 level shift (this applied anytime). There are 2 +1 incarnate shifts (these are applied during incarnate content only - i.e. the trials and, after today, DA). They do all stack but, it depends on the context whether it is applied.
