Quote:I hear what you are saying, but to clarify, you mean the recharge intensive pet global resist and defense bonuses.Great work as always.
I'll toss in a couple of Mastermind comments, you don't need to add them to the guide but it might help someone later if the info is in the thread.
The Mastermind version of Mu Mastery's Electrifying Fences is an AoE -KB immob, admittedly the radius isn't huge.
And MMs should always slot the pet resistance and defence procs when possible. For sets like bots or ninjas that can't slot them in any primary powers, tornado is a godsend. -
Is it stun or kb that prompts it to move on (or both)? Tornado will INDEED return to the caster if it runs out of targets, Many times, I COUNT ON it. Thereby, if it's out of sight and didn't come back, it found something really chewy I didn't expect and then I maneuver to see what's ahead. It's a 'ghetto mapping' tool of sorts.

Again, Ouroboros is another feature that the game developers provided to make sure you maximize your playing experience

I know you don't go through all the tactics for the powers. I am fine with that. I would like to share how I use tornado more frequently that some others might. In office maps, sewers, arachnos maps, and the new praetorian indoor maps, I find many places to use tornado. Unlike most tanks that stand outside the door of the dead end offices and the corner offices and the upstairs office, and the dead end sewers or arachnos maps to taunt them out, I like to lead spawns INTO such locations, especially the corner office. Herdicane, run in the office, block the door with hurricane, rinse the foes down with rain and drop Mr. Twisty in your custom kill zone. I don't get trapped/cornered because most every stormy I have has combat tp to get right through the crowd. Between the office furniture and the small size of the office, even the laziest scrappers shouldn't complain about the knockback.

Slurs against lefties and lazy eye people all in one thread
By the way, I speed boost you with my right hand, and increase your density with my left. Which do you think is more annoying -
Has the sonogram determined the AT of the unborn as well as the gender?

Although I admit at most times I wish defenders would do the same proportional damage compared to blasters as the tank already does in comparison to scrappers, there is another aspect that would excite me even more. I would like to see the secondary effects of defender blasts be increased including better accuracy for archery and some way to feature more knockdown in energy blast. This would increase the desire for defenders to blast as much as increased damage.

Quote:This is true about tesla with me, too. When I got my alpha slot, I went musculature for eventual end drain enhancing, but it made my control powers a lot more damaging! Bonus! What I like to do (and it has worked rather well so far level 30 now in a duo with a stalker) is once static field is down, I hit chain jolt and then chain fences ( with 2 procs!) by the time they get back up, most of them are back asleep or drained to nil. I find myself not using tesla as much as I should though...
I took the AoE immobilize on my EC/elec, but it is not my opening salvo. I use it more for, oh damage woke? oh no you don't leave the end drain patch! And chain fences also does some drain and damage which in turn is fueled by musculature.

Check the tailor, there are alternate ways to create the shield.

Amature suggestions all (except for Dechs of course, it's his mantra)!
There can be only one! Robots/Storm Summoning mastermind muahahahahahahaha! You take the best defender set and bolt it on to the best mastermind set (these are all my opinion of course), and voila, even the storm is augmented with the Super Duper Uber Assault bot -regen for boss killing.
It can solo, it can team, it can grief teams, all with style. -
Quote:I still hate that grieving queen ****** Foley. *spits bad taste of memory on the floor*Reading this takes me back to the super fun pre-nerf everything/ED days when Foley would herd thousands of Rikti monkeys over to Ghost Falcon and wipe all the AFK people... Shocker summoning the Kronos Titan at Hami Raids... Recall Friending each other into huge purple mobs... ah, the good times.

Quote:This is my technique exactly. Foes that are NOT confused are interrupted by the jolting chain while you lay down the sleep. When you have the gremlins, this is still the routine. Remember the conductive aura is super effective while smacking the confused and sleepingI usually begin with Synaptic Overload, wait a few seconds, run in with Jolting Chains and then lay down a Static Field then just destroy everything. I've been playing at x5.
On teams, I wait until the current spawn is about 2/3 done and hit the next spawn with synaptic overload confuse. It's non-stop fighting. -
Quote:I would like to believe that premium players would have benefits of some global server participation. It's as much an assumption that they will have access to global offline tells and global channels as it is to assume that they will NOT have access. I would like clarification at least. On the side by side description, it appears premium has NO access to the global communication server and channels. As it stands now, if you are a subscriber with membership in global channels, you are not dropped from those channels if you allow your account to lapse. When you come back, you are still listed in those channels. I'm not sure how this will change for Premium players without re-structuring how global channels handle members. They will most likely be unable to join new channels.
Premium players will also retain their SG membership (though they won't be able to create new SGs). I would assume that SG/coalie chat channels would go hand in hand with that.
Premium players will have more options in this regard than Free players.

Don't lead off with chain fences, I am sure you don't. As stated, combining it with static field, conductive aura, (get up close and personal) synaptic overload and paralyzing blast. Jolting chain and the gremmies will quickly have most spawns neutered by end drain. Oh and of course, spam the bejeebers out of tesla cage.
Also, you get varying degrees of knock down and knock back from Thunder Strike. It does very appreciable damage for an AoE melee attack. The knockdown as in jolting chains is another effective damage mitigation tool. -

There is a lot of synergy in many areas of Demons/Thermal. The mastermind's resistance, the resist shields from thermal, and the resist aura from the ember demon. The heal aura from thermal is nice for topping off the mastermind's and pets' health, but the thermal demon also gets a PbAoE large radius heal with the level 32 upgrade which he is NOT shy about using. Overlapping damage mitigation is VERY useful, esp if the MM gets mezzed. Thermal set also has forge. It should be emphasized, the Demon Prince does do significant damage, but buffing the damage coming from the hellfire gargoyle's damage aura should be a priority. Myself, I find that rotating forge and living hellfire whichever is available on whichever of the two pets is unbuffed is a critical tactic.
For those that go necro/thermal, it is a mighty combination as the thermal shields cover a big gap in their inherent resistances. After level 32 the necros have a modest self-heal which supports the aura heal from thermal. Remember when you take the extracted pet at level 18, he is a good candidate for forge also. -
NO! not if I log in a character on a global user to another server. Not only will "Virtue TFs" be not available without the global system, tells to @psylenz would not be available either. Offline messages do not get sent to local server characters, just global accounts.

I haven't scanned all the related topics and thread, so shoot me now if I have been scooped. The premium players need to be able to access global channel AND global chat when they return. Our community is alting harder than ever, and if we aren't on the same server the returning people are on when they try to come back, it will be very hard to reconnect.
I WANT my former teammates to be able to contact their former supergroup and coalition members. -
Quote:All which powers? there are 3 heals, you only HAVE to take the PbAoE aura heal, Absorb Pain is usually skipped. Clear mind, Fortitude, Recovery Aura, Regen Aura, Adrenalin Boost, and Resurrection still have uses.i honestly wouldnt do empathy.. sure it will be nice to fort each other and CM.. But im not sure its really worth having all those powers in a primary that just wont really be used..
to me a pair of kins would be way stronger.. Or try something different like a dark and rad combo..
I could see fire/dark, fire/rad being really nice.. Or perhaps something like a pair of kin/sonics, give um the same uniform/look.. sorta wonder twinds like.
doing something like this your gonna have so many more tools to use, Vrs just both spaming the regens, and fort/CM..
Id rather carry a few BF's and a couple of purples for when needed and have many other powers that are far more usefull in most situtations.
I see a lot of suggestions for ice for the blaster sized storm/blizzard combo. I am of the mind that the constant resistance debuff stacking would bear out to provide more damage. Also with overlapping recovery aura and an adrenalin boost kicker, I am pretty sure Dreadful Wail nuking would be crashless. -
My EC/elec dom was fairly surprising, especially when I experienced the re-apply of sleep in Static Field.
My most recent surprise is my Earth/Cold controller. I can't solo worth crap, but on teams, it's a huge synergy multiplier. -
-
I came late to the AoE confuse party. I had arctic air on an ice controller, but it doesn't seem to hit as often. Electric control was where I rediscovered a nice confuse in conjunction with domination. I am playing a Plant/thorn more often now. Mass confuse powers are a special control.

FWIW, I agree charged armor over shocking bolt.
