  1. I can't speak for all combinations, but in the early days of my Ice/cold corruptor, putting frostworks on my teammate Dark Armor Brute made a big big difference.
  2. William Valence, you don't give O2 boost enough credit. It also has endurance drain protection, breaks stuns (aka wakies, too) and sleeps. It has really good range for a single target buff, +perception is a good thing, not a cost.
  3. TL;DR thread: one choice only supplants all: FREEM!!!

I wouldn't mind if the -special remain unstackable, but the -dam, -tohit? The set is supposed to be protecting through debuffs, but its main mitigational debuff limited to one application. I would change this, as it would add the protection poison brings in a prolonged fight.
I am with the shyster on this, esp since weaken is NOT AoE at present.
  5. I cant follow this thread, when did doms and trollers get energy primary?
  6. Lady Mage, her defender kinetic spouse, SG shield tank and my coalition cold defender walked into an alpha unlock Ramiel arc. Sadly, there were few Rikti survivors and old Trapdoor and Minotaur were mere speed bumps. I suggest something in the spiritual alpha tree LM: heal, recharge and stun (scrambled thoughts with more duration, mmmm).

Not sure if you are familiar with the alignment tips/merits. It's a great way to earn the A-merits for the unobtainables. Also, don't forget 50s get a roll for content when exemp down, so even lowbie TFs with maximum spawn counts can be tasty for alpha components/shards.
  7. First, I suggest you need two builds, team and solo. Decide if you want SOs, generic IOs, or sets for either or both. For sonic as well as forcefields and cold having team buffs is unnecesarry in solo build. If it were me, I would generic IO the solo and set build the team build.
  8. I plan to go 3 slots: 2 full IOs of def/res, and the third is either def/rech or /end (res/rech or /end) except as folks noted for my forcefield defenders that six slot for red fortunes.

Not sure if that will help but feel free to give it a try
This was also experienced by my cousin lately. The auto-update grabbed the wrong driver file.
  10. It's only one phase, but I don't like using psy damage at low levels on skyraider jumpbots, council/5th mechmen, (or Rikti drones). The only thing I would avoid on Elec/? doms would be a secondary power with a long DoT like combustion, but fire works, too.
  11. I lean to Spiritual on my /darks. More recharge, more dark regeneration, or other end replenish power.

    Numina TF in i21

Just my two influence about the Banished Pantheon in Dark Astoria for the Numina TF, I was milling about slaying the undead on my squishy when I was confronted by a BP ambush that conned at level 40. Now, THAT was a surprise!

    Corruptor duos

That sounds solid. My friend and I started an all defender supergroup in 04. Stacking buffs and debuffs is the recipe for steamrolling.

Another duo I have played, corruptor style was a Fire/Kin with my Ice/Cold. That duo rocked!! Trading heat loss and fulcrum shift was a pedal to the metal approach.

In my opinion you will zone into an empty zone fall to the ground and tp to Ms. Liberty or Kalinda at level 1 with no inspies.
  16. We need more forcefielders in Galaxy City, stat!!!
  17. It's a great day to be a buffing style mastermind. That is all.

    Thanks for the kind words!

In writing, from redname. (I oopsed on the terminology talking about premium, blue-ribbon, banquet beer, returning players.) So with minimal paragon rewards history our friends from the past will be able to private message across servers. Fair enough, protection from RMT spam.
  19. Flashfire, Cinders, Char all holding boss class spawns with one application is really good mitigation. The recharge bonus you need to get perma-dom really pushes the availability of your stuns and holds, too.

    Poor fire... no confuse powers.

    -DEF vs -RES

-Def still has a place against +4 and AVs.
  21. I like my Demon Summoning/thermal guy as well. Overall, I would say this is a successful build. There are minor tweaks/discussions. I see you frankenslotted your Summon Demons and Summon Demon Prince. I certainly approve. I didn't go with any hold enhancments in my Demon Prince; I can't fault you for putting some accuracy in the hold. You might want to consider that the Demon Prince has a lot of slow powers that do not do damage and so he might suck down more endurance than you would like.

IMHO forge is underslotted. Forge as well as Hell on Earth help make up for slotting choices to cover endurance usage. I chuckled some when I saw a six-slotted Power of the Phoenix; you must run on some really tough PuG teams As of Tuesday, you will have less concern for endurance reduction in the shields. You do have some nice bonuses in your resistance slotting.
  22. I use group fly on many of my masterminds. The chief reason I take it is to overcome the bad pathing that pets utilize to follow me between levels in maps. I really don't like to fight going up the switch back ramps and such.

Group fly also works great when fighting knives of artemis with the caltrops that ALSO have a fear component.

Actually it is a technique worth pointing out that Grant Invisibility is very useful on pets to enable stealthy approaches to targets that some folks DO NOT know about.

Also, as an aside, is there any reason why you can't grant invis to the force field generator?
Grant inviz is GREAT for using on the FFG to toe bomb your poison gas trap in the middle of spawns.
