  1. Within the SG search function, it would be nice if you could email a leader. I've had a couple times where I want to get ahold of a SG, but don't know who's currently the leader, or necessarily who's in it at all anymore.
  2. Eh, I agree with the OP. The pistol animations are cool, but I just can't come up with a theme other than vigilante (and GR isn't out yet!) I'm mostly excited for the whip. Whip it good!

    Fun scrapper

I used to love my claws/regen/body, but I keep getting hung op what she's not (namely pre-i5 regen.) My new DB/regen I'm enjoying, I think because I'm looking at it like a new set.

    I also have:

Kat/SR/Weap at 50, very fun solo. Not as much so on big teams.
Fire/Fire/Fire at 50, very fun on teams. Anywhere crowded, or in enclosed spaces, burn really shines.
Spines/Dark at 38. Really just came into her own, with good mitigation and AoE damage.

One of my brutes (DM/ElA) is not available in scrapper flavor, so that would probably be fun as well. The other (SS/WP) would make a good port, but since you can't, a MA/WP might be nice.

    Yuna from FFX-2.

    I got a new tank to 22.
  5. So Yes AV, possibly sweep, maybe empower, no weaken, but don't worry about any of it too much, at least until endgame?
  6. Which do you think are more worth pursuing for a scrapper?

    Best Scrapper?

If you're going to team consistently, something/shield. According to mids, with a 3 person team and common IOs, you can get 32.3% positional defense, 17.8% resistance to all but psi and an extra 19.9% hp. Even just that defense is higher than an SR with common IOs. Solo you can drop that down to 21.6% defense, but giving 13.4% defense to everyone else should make you more popular on teams.

But if you do want to solo, any secondary can be good. I guess both that and your primary depend on your play style. Being used to a SS/WP, a fire/fire might suit you. You'll die more, but death is just another attack >:]
  8. I was already plotting to overthrow you!
  9. It's not always great, but can come in handy. I find some corrupters can out-pace my aggro on AVs, so I have it but rarely use it on my DM/El. I have yet to really tank anything on my SS/WP, so I don't have it, but could certainly find a space for it.

Honestly, I took it on my Claws/Regen scrapper to tank hami raids. Like, back when we did hami raids.

  12. I don't find it all that annoying, but an auto accept feature would be nice. I suppose we'd have to have auto decline as well, but really, the -3% tohit is make or break?

    Raven's

Does anyone know who has Raven's Nest now? I'm feeling nostalgic.
  14. Psara

    Oh hai

Was it the same as previous years? The wow one was boring as usual.

[edit] Yeah, I took all of the good names.

    Oh hai

What's new? Has anything happened in the past month? What's everyone doing?
  16. I'm playing real life. It's really stressful, tons of grinding.

  17. Base Repricing
    1) How will the repricing of bases affect you personally?
I'll be able to upgrade some things sooner than expected on my small base. My large base should be mostly unaffected.

    2) Will you dismantle your base to gain the additional prestige from the repricing?
For the small base, definitely. It's more work on a larger plot.

    3) How long would this process take you if you were to engage in this practice?
The last time I did on the small one, a day total. Probably three hours of playtime. The large one... Well more like six to eight hours of playtime, but I'd probably want to finish it in a day as well.

    4) What are the positive and negative concerns regarding repricing?
It seems good overall. Very big SGs shouldn't have a problem with a small increase in pricing (if it's even a net increase) wheras small bases can now be MEANINGFULLY operational faster.

    5) How will this feature affect you long term and short term?
Make bigger base, make bigger base

Base Salvage Exchange to Invention Salvage
    1) What is the negative effect on your base for this feature implementation?
Base salvage was VERY easy to get before the change, since it wasn't in demand. I worry that invention salvage will become even more valuable.

    2) What is the positive effect on your base for this feature implementation?
    Simplicity is always nice.

    3) How long will it take you to adjust to learning this new system?
    Not very?

    4) What side effects to this system do you currently see from transitioning the old to new system?
As I said, it may actually increase prices on invention salvage, making it very difficult to rebuild a base from scratch.

    5) What security concerns do you have regarding this change?
    I can't comment on raiding.

Additional Notes: Not pricing related, I'm pleased to see "non-raiding" options made it in.

750k to convert from a Mainframe and 6 Databases to a Supercomputer.

    [/ QUOTE ]
"But isn't there a room that holds more than 6 Databases?"
Yes, but when that room costs 750k, you still have a 750k step in your Control progression, and you may as well just go to the Supercomputer.

Perhaps, then, the solution to this step-up is a room with more than 6 Auxes, but costing less than 750k. Like a 350k room that holds 8 Auxes.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I recall having an extra step there, to go from the smallest control room to the long skinny one. But I think you just skipped from oversight to the skinny one. In retrospect, that may make more sense. But I think I was eager to get in there.

In case you got this far (or only found this through the Dev Tracker)...

Visual Sounds are NOT going into the game. We are NOT deleting all your sounds off your hard drive. This was NCNorCal's internet prank for April 1st, 2008.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Pleeeaassseeee? Or can I just delete them? No offense to the work you guys put into them, but I can't stand to hear another "HUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I JUMPED YIPPEE" sound.

I just figured it was a joke because A) they said it would take a long time to do, 2) Because they're changing i12:Midnight Hour, an epic name to something.... well less than epic such as i12:Biff, Bam , Boom.. or whatever and C) If it's such a huge change, why announce it this close to i12 being released and not push it back to i13?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I actually thought midnight hour was a silly name >_>
  21. [ QUOTE ]
    You hurt me!

I want it to be real so bad

    [/ QUOTE ]

For serious. NO I have no choice but to send the devs a poisoned pie. But it's still a pie, so they won't be able to resist despite the fact that they now know it's poisoned.
  22. This event is like recieveing a new toy, which is a locked steel box, to which you do not have they key. Technically you got something, but you can't have it.

The bonus pack is neat... but not worth $10. I would have bought it at $5. Actually, I'd bet at least twice as many people would.
  23. I know the devs don't really like leaking datamined info, but:

How many levels, total, were gained?
