Quote:I have a few toons that have 300+ badges these have been picked up while playing and on rare occasions when I have collected the exploration badges so that I could set a TP portal for the area.I hold my hat up to these people that have 600+ badges as that takes dedication to collect. Also we must remember a lot of badges are also mission based so they must be pretty decent players as wellWell my 50s that aren't badge-hunters average around 150 badges each, so I'd say anything over 300 clearly indicates intent to badge, but I wouldn't want to set a threshold for defining a "badger".

I take it that all these people who say I pay for 30 days and they want 30 days, actually play 24/7 if they do fair enough I will agree with them in their demand for compensation, but if they do not then all this downtime does not impact on the time they have paid.Being in the EU,London area actually all down times come into our prime time so perhaps we should be compensated every time something happens and causes the servers to go down.Although the past couple of weeks have been dogged with problems, you have still had your playtime, true while the servers have been down you could always extend your playtime once they come back up.I,m sure that you could always get in your average playtime in no matter what happens .

I like your optimism

Quote:Possibly a lot worse than the EU players as they have never really been hit hard during their main playtimeIf i can go around with few hours less gametime, i wont mind, but i do care for my fellow european players that did want to play today (or any given time the past 2 weeks).
Face it, they are NA timezone based, all future downtimes (wich i expect to be quite a lot) will be on the 'negative' side for EU players. Though some were 'office hours', going past dinner time into early evening is imho stupid.
I do understand that they need to pick a time that is convinent of them and hits the fewest players, but for once, let them do a maintaince during primetime US and lets see how they will react.but we Europeans are a stoic lot,we have to be with all the crap we take from everyone else.

Quote:Ok have found what you need she is playing on the 64 bit has 4 GB memory graphics card is ATI Radeon HD5570 memory for card is 2747mb graphics are set on 1440X900 which is the recommended setting.Sorry, I know we'd all love to help, but we need some more information.
How much memory does she have?
What type of graphics card? What are her graphics set at ?
Based only on what you've stated (very little to go on) I suspect it's a lack of memory.is this what you needed

OK my 2 cents worth
,as a 5 year vet I do find the first part of the tutorial not of much use to me,but for someone who has never played the game it will help, voice overs nice but you need to listen to it more than once to get it all,a message box would be handy as well.Right we have gone thru the first part and are now in Atlas.First impression wow look at all these people ,where is my first contact ah that guy there with the big coin over he,s head, this could be a bit smaller I think, get the first mission and ah an arrow points to the area no thinking where do I find these guys. And so we continue even as a vet I find these new contact story lines fun and as a new player very informative,as to the way the game is going I think overall this is a very good change.I do enjoy the new trial which I did not know how to join so I asked in the help channel which is the one the F2P people will have access to and a lot of helpful people there as well,so a thumbs up to you guys for passing your knowledge onto others. I think this will increase the game population which the company want and hopefully people will spend lots of cash
so we can look forward to nice full servers and if to many WoW minded players get on VIP players can always retreat to Exalted channel for civilized play and conversation *remove tongue from cheek*

I will just say that this week is really starting to get under my skin.Ok the extended 9 hour downtime to put the big stuff on that was expected, then we had the servers go down as something broke another day screwed and now we have daily maintenance at 4 pm just in time to hit EU prime time, what happened to the normal 12 pm BST start time,
just wish they would get their act together ,and stop changing times on us.I think this is the first time in 5 years that I have posted a negative post, but that's the way this week has got me could have something to do with what the doctor told me Tuesday as well that I will keep to myself.Ok rant over are we all enjoying this when we can play

Quote:Reading your post I think you are referring to the flashback portal,as this is the one that takes you back to do the lower level content that you may have missed.I would think that most SG,s will have one of these in their base.Ok, so I heard that at level 22, you can find this portal which will lower your characters level, so you can do most, if not all of the contact missions that are available at that level, therefore making the whole disabling xp option obsolete.
So, where can I find this?
Thank you for your time. -
Quote:I was unemployed for 18 months, after doing job search and the like to find work I would play anything up to 10 hours a day, having little money it was my entertainment.I,m sure a lot of people can manage 5 hours a day I do now even tho I,m back to workYeah, I don't think those numbers can be considered accurate in general. There's been about 7 and a third years since launch, about 64000 hours. If you've played, for example, 13000+ hours as Turg reports, then you'dve been playing roughly a fifth of the TOTAL time passed since launch. That's almost 5 hours a day, every day, for the past 7+ years. That just isn't feasable. Which sucks, because it's an interesting question.

Since 2008 I have logged about 10,500 hours since I X Fire only show,s what I have done since I joined that, but I would say that on average I play 240 hours a month.Been playing 63 months so a close total would be 15,120 hours since I started
way to much I know but fun all the same .

I have not seen anything about what will happen to the badges and plaques in Galaxy once it is destroyed in I21.IF this has been posted before I apologize for re posting it.Will we still have to go round the ruins for them are they being moved to another Zone such as the Ward,or will they be discontinued,or have I got to run round Galaxy with all my toons getting them.

Think of a good excuse to decline invites and put it on a bind, just send that each time,ie "soz logging soon RL inter-fears again
