With Day Jobs, you're better off leaving it for a week rather than a few days. It takes a while to kick in.
-
Maybe now I'll actually be able to do missions on my MM where enemies appear at the door.
-
And if not, you can do them on your next character.
You have 10 default characters slots on each server for a reason. -
Some players come from other, poorly balanced games and haven't got the memo that this game doesn't work like that.
-
You do it for the fun of being part of a rampaging horde of heroes and villains destroying all in their path.
-
Well Perfect_Pain is kind of experienced on the subject.
Farmers are out only to make a profit, and don't have any regard for what effect it has on the economy... sound familiar? -

Quote:What happened to the 'THE DEVS ARE BANNING EVERYONE WHO EVEN TALKS ABOUT FARMS' attitude, anyway?Firstly I don't know how leading a total of 2 PuGs away from the AE in the full duration of 2xp weekend qualifies the statement "I keep foiling AE teams", other than the fact that it reads to me as self-glorification and to seek the exact responses from like-minded people who view such teams with disdain.
And as for the comment made about the devs' "quest" to cut down on farming, they seem to be relying on player reports rather than take the full initiative themselves. If it was such a harrowing issue, they would have long before be proactive in doing so. Furthermore i16 seems to introduce a new feature that has incentive for the playstyle.
So this is how it goes for me. I'll wait for a dev statement on the matter that isn't vague. I'll wait for a definitive ingame motd that declares that farming = ban of account, maybe then the bitter holier-than-thou players can finally get their victory and the repetetive arguments will cease.
Not holding my breath though. -
We already have the Halloween event. And the Vahzilok, Circle of Thorns, Banished Pantheon, Croatoa, Council, zombie invasions, player characters...
Point is, we've got plenty of horror themed stuff in this game without having to resort to even more incredibly unoriginal ideas. -
Why should they do this when you can just get a second account and make them twice as much money each month?
-
Quote:If this is implemented you will be ganked. Over and over and over. That's not a threat, that's something every player who is not insanely-prepared, new or just unlucky will have to go through, and they will then all quit because they don't want to pay $15 a month to get ganked all the time.lol. thats ridiculous.
You guys cant wave the "subscription cancellations"-flag at EVERY idea.it makes u lose credibility.like massively
Also it would help if people who want to express they dont like an idea, would at least READ what the idea is about.
Guy talks about raid-like adventures into zones of the opposing side -> nay-sayer talks about STARTING in Atlas after outbreak!
I mean at least TRY. Is that asking too much? -
If anything resembling open-world PVP was implemented in this game, hundreds of people on this forum alone have promised that they will quit. And PVPers won't magically appear to replace them by a long shot.

Quote:That would be your president, and in the past 8 years your president has indeed made a mockery of the rules.LOL ... somebody lives in a fantasy world other than Paragon City. Silly AE Enforcer, rules arent important ... its all down to who you know and how you can bypass them ... Look at our President and his Chief of staff and you would realize that ... *sigh* people will never learn.
You may be playing a game, but the game has rules. They will be applied to you, and complaining will only make them be applies to you quicker. You're paying for the privilege of being able to access NCsoft's servers, under their terms and their rules, and they can do whatever they want with it. -
Quote:They won't be here long.It can't possibly be that there are so many power-leveled 50's trying to get purple sets?
The more characters that are power-leveled to 50, the more demand there is for purples. If you are going to get power leveled to 50 so you can be uber, then you have to have purples to gain full uberness.
The more you are willing to cheat to get to that uberness, the more likely you are to buy from RMTrs so that you have enough loot to buy all those purples at the higher prices.
To some isn't about playing the game any more, it is only about uberness.
It is sadt hat some of these players are the newest ones. -
-
Find a character that you enjoy playing. You'll be 50 in no time.
You don't need to rush to level 50. Powerlevelling is a very bad idea- you'll reach the endgame with very little game knowledge and a character you have no idea how to play, and you'll likely find yourself kicked from most teams. 50s are expected to have game experience and to know what they're doing. -
I dunno, but the answer is: "425 and a can of pigs".

Basic mission teams aren't all bosses.
And if a mission gets reported by a lot of people, guess what? It's probably a farm. -
Oh good, I was afraid I was going to have to make sure you continued doing teh funnies.
By any means necessary.
That's the name of my sledgehammer! -
Literal nukes are the best nukes.
Keep one in your second build, just for fun. -
-
I don't report farming missions to play hall monitor, I report farming missions because I hate them and believe they make the game worse.
-
This is why the devs are so tight-lipped on new developments now. Anything that gets changed, shelved or delayed gets whined about endlessly.
-
What enemies were you fighting? That's not just radio missions, some enemies now hide (sometimes in plain site) before attacking in all missions.
