I've been pretty vocal about this in the past, it's funny to see this near the top of the board so I might as well post. Just yesterday I dropped my second purple recipe...in now 18 months playing... Let's face it. You have to farm. What one person does or does not consider farming is another story. But I consider running paper mishes over and over again at difficulty lvl 4. my best bet when you solo. It's not a typical farm but the repetitiveness to makes it farming. Having teammates or better, geting someone to pad would help. Make sure you're not in SG mode, you get less drops. <- It was only until recently I discovered this about SG mode, if I had known I wouldn't have complained so damn much, my bad.

Purples are basically there to be endgame content for the tweak crowd who have to have the best phat lewtz, even if most people won't notice them. They're even more optional than the entire Inventions system- the game is still balanced around SOs, though they probably take IOs into consideration, and purples are meant to give decent rewards to the players who make the effort, through playing, farming or marketeering, to get them. But if you don't wanna use em, you won't be disadvantaged for it, and if you happen to find any you'll get a nice windfall. -
In short, SR is a 'late blooming' build. For much of the game it's rather sub-par, but all the powers come together to become a great set.
There's a reason it's considered to have good synergy with Broad Sword and Katana for levelling, because of Parry/Divine Avalanche. The fact that it's a redraw-light set with +recharge to help BS's big heavy attacks is icing on the cake. OF DEATH. -
Yes, you can get the accolade without rebuying the game. Just buy the $10 item pack.

Really? I would think clear rules are a good thing. I know that this issue is on a greyscale. I'd just think that knowing the criterias the GMs judge by. It seems more than one player in the could use this clearer rulebook. Mind you, I'm not talking about some small costume detail here. I've sure noticed it lately. Even the forums have seen alot less traffic lately. What I noticed the most was beta. I really thought there were alot of people dieing to get in this beta and try out the new stuff, but ever since open beta started, it has been a ghost town on test.

As said above: They're all on CO, Test, school or just waiting for the next Issue. The servers tend to be quiet just before a major update. The calm before the storm.

Croatoa has a few as well, like the awesome looking Rune of Warding, Iron Blade and Bow.
Though I think you can get those temp powers, or a toned down version at least, from Flashback missions. -

Currently my style is using my Supercollider. Finally, a use for personal storage vaults! Now I just gotta stick one in my base...
Anyway, I'm currently 23 and tearing up DA, but still getting killed every now and then, especially by those damn Shamans and +2 mobs. (the bosses aren't too much of a hassle, I bet I'll have the badge in no time) I'm wanting for Immob protection and the Resistance offered by my empowerment station just doesn't suffice. I suppose Cloak of Darkness is the next power on order.
I've skipped s travel power thanks to a handy rental jetpack which I think I'm gonna start getting regularly (I usually have money left on the gift cards I use to subscribe, I feel it's worth it). This has allowed me to get active a lot quicker, but I have a Winter's Gift set in storage and noticed that Dark Armour doesn't seem to have any slow protection. If I get a travel pool, what would you reccomend and how soon? -
You know you want it. And it'd be less work than Scrappers, I believe Tankers don't get Caltrops. Replace Hide with... uh...

Ninjutsu is the most thematic for Stalkers, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't fit on Scrappers too.
They'd have to replace and re-order Hide and make a Caltrops replacement, but those shouldn't be too much of a hassle. There's some good ideas in this thread.
Comedy option: Ninjutsu Tankers. -
I think /FA is the closest you're going to get currently, and it looks cool besides. Especially with customisation on the way and the Fire ancillary pool.
