That being said, I DO have the fitness pool, so adding a bit of help by a second enhancement to Swift/Hurdle doesn't seem too much of a difficulty, and I can see Combat Jumping as not being 'too' super - as opposed to Hover, Teleport Foe/Recall Friend, so I might add that to the build at some point.
Get the rocket boots costume piece, take Flight.

    Vanguard Lowbie

I play this game to be a superhero, not a stockbroker.
  3. Compared to other kinds of farming, AE is pretty inefficient, since they nerfed the dickens out of it and increased drops everywhere else. That said...

Personally I don't use AE tickets for profit but rather to get quick and easy rare salvage when I want to craft a recipe and don't have it on hand.
  4. Enhancements are about the only thing that your Origin will continue to affect through most of the game, and even then it's very little (yeah, Origin is completely superfluous otherwise).

Note that there's other kinds of enhancements; as well as rarely slotted Hamidon Origin enhancements at the highest level (and other similar ones of lower level), there's also Invention Origin (IOs) ones that are crafted with various drop items (that's what your Invention Salvage and Recipes are for, if you've found any of them yet), and they're a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

Earth controller isn't really that far removed either.

    Killing pigs

I keep thinking this thread is about fighting cops.

    Which you can do.
  9. Then let's put on some funky music and walk around like we own the place!

  11. Ulterior works best as complimenting a more complex outfit, it looks kinda blah on its own.

Steampunk doesn't really look steampunk to me either.
  12. It's in all likelihood a bug. People have accidentally switched sides before from bugs, it happens.
  13. I had the same problem with Arachnos Agent, it seemed to show up after I went in and out of a mission though.
  14. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is part of the new Clockwork set, though I may be wrong.

And I agree, it looks halfway between ExoProto and Enforcer, and I think we're gaining a few too many 'light armour' costume sets already. It'd like to see some more variety in costume pieces, something to compete with CO.
  15. If they let us run on water I hope they can give us the option to still swim if we want to. And different strokes while we're at it.

I just buy the 30 day jetpack, I pay for my sub with gift cards so it's a great way to use the money left over.
  16. I really don't see any problems outside of people who are so stupid they will have problems anyway. Defenders and Corruptors are almost literally interchangeable, Controllers and Doms will likely have a lot of synergy, Tanks, Brutes and Scrappers will all be charging in together with Blasters plugging away behind them, and Stalkers and Masterminds always did their own thing anyway. And that's not getting into EATs.

    Blaster weapons?

Personally I think this stuff is kinda silly, sword-beams are generally a way for cartoons to avoid people actually fighting with their weapons, whether to appease moral guardians or because they're just too cheap to animate it. But eh, I got no right to judge.
  18. For procs like this, auto powers are the very best place you can slot them. I've put a second PS proc in Physical Perfection.

No, not really; as said, with the current system, such long-term buffs could be greatly abused. Considering that a single application of well-slotted buffs can make a character virtually invincible already, that's saying something.
  20. Presumably there'll be rewards no matter what route you take. Switching sides is meant to be a reward in itself, and probably won't have specific rewards attached to it (besides maybe badges or something).
  21. Besides, they have explored those kind of things in Elseworlds and the like. I've seen an alternate world where Batman (named Paladin) became a sniper, and shot and killed the Joker... and the Penguin, and Two-face, and by the time Gordon catches up to him he's got his sights on Catwoman.

Batman's been built up as such a powerful and terrifying character who's already on the edge of sanity, and the whole not-killing deal keeps him from going too far. Note how there's much fewer 'Batman gone bad' stories than 'Superman gone bad'. The same goes for most non-killing heroes; that's sometimes the only thing seperating them from the villains they fight.

    Pathetic.

This is the internet. Everyone knows about everything that sucks, to the point where everyone already agrees that it sucks and additional complaining is considered annoying and redundant. If you hate it, post the 4005th thread in Suggestions about it.
  23. Wow, this one got ugly.

With my BS/SR I'd assumed that with all his fancy nanotechnology and the like (Tech origin) the sword could be blunted to avoid injury, while enough to slice up weapons, okay-to-kill things (robots, zombies) and people, if things are bad enough that the gloves come off. (Rikti are an invading army, and somehow I doubt Cimerorans get the idea of non-lethality) Weapon Customsation helped, since the Tech broadsword looks like a device that's capable of that.

Assault Rifle is relatively easy; tranq darts, rubber bullets, folks get teleported to the Zig before burns get too lethal, you know the deal.
  24. Brutes at their worst will probably be no more insane than Scrappers.
