  1. I'll buy it for 70 million. But leave the salvage racks full.
  2. Dunno, Lucky. OP is into PvP so 1b probably isn't much to them.
  3. Main: Trixi Chalk, 50 Katana/WP, can chew up everything in the room, though slowly, and only has a 20% def psi/range hole.

Back-up: Saltier, 39ish Fire/Ice Blaster. She would be 50 by now but I locked her XP off at 25 for a long time, during which she ran a bazillion Radio mishs in Talos.

Currently working on: Liskil, 22 Katana/Dark, and Amber Chalk, 23 BS/SR, but geez, I've gotta respec AC already. Swift sucks.

    who is 666?

I'm a digit repeater. 11111, 2222222, etc. So if the thing is worth around 6m, yeah, I'm Mr. 666.

But I'm having very slow buys lately, so my niche is teh suckzorz. You can have it.

    Still waiting.
I've never had any problem either, it's just threads about the store being broken pop up every few days.
  6. Would this work or be dumb and redundant:

    Dark/Electric

You have two self heals, two end recoveries, AoE and a damage aura...

For some reason, though I've though about this powerset quite a bit, I haven't gotten around to making one. I'm not sure I want to.

[edit - ah you already know about his as you have one at level 31, from another post of yours]

And I'll add that I've seen builds where /wp people take sets, GotA for example, to get the +2% recovery, and think "what?" It's like a Regen slotting for regen.

Now, granted, I might be a "which raindrop caused the flood" kind of guy when it comes to voting/littering/etc, but an extra 0.1%, if that, of your total regen or recovery will do nothing.

    VEATs are super powerful.
HEATs are tied into the game's storyline.
  9. This comes up constantly, though using the search will only let you know the store kind of sucks.

People have logged out and logged back in, waited, called tech support, etc, etc, jumped through hoops of fire...

I mean, what's the deal with the store? I've never, ever heard of a store of any kind having so many difficulties.
  10. If you have Stamina, which you should, and QR, which as said before is better than Stamina and you also should get this, getting the proc from Shifter is pointless IMO.

With each three slotted with gereri-Endmods, I can run nine to 11 toggles and still fight as fast as possible with a Katana and not lose endurance.

[Though one of those toggles is CJ, which hardly counts, and the others generally might be slotted with a little end just due to the R/E, R/Rech, R type slotting of, say, Aegis, et al.]
  11. I don't know the ins-and-outs of plant, but here's what tends to be done:

Groups mez -> Lockdown -> pain and suffering -> next.

Any time I hear that someone is going to do something unconventional, it really means they don't want advice.
  12. I saw the word farm and thought you might want some recharge rather than defenses. My fire/rad who roams in packs of other fire/rads has no defense, we don't allow an alpha from our prey.

I'm not sure you'll be as fast as I've set this up to be. And I'm sure even more recharge can be squeezed out. But you're perma-hasten with a three second "overlap." 185%, woooooo!

    Tell me any flaws, guys.

Oh, I wouldn't take Elude. I'm not even sure why it's the teir9, except for people who don't believe in IOs.

I tend to not take travel powers but like to take Rec-Friend. Beats waiting on the people who feel they need to level between missions, or worse, fight spawn in the street rather than just getting to the door. [edit - I have ninja run.]

But the point of SR is to cap easy and cheap. And that's what I'll do.
  14. I focused on cheap capping, then damage, then jumping like a freak.

I think I got cheaper, and you can definitely jump more like a freak.

[Read in a channel the other day when some PvP people were sharing secrets that putting two jumps in Hurdle was one of the things that stood out in some of the best builds.]

Oh, yeah, I got rid of swift because it's horrible.

EDIT - forgot to fix CJ. Remove endred and put in Winter -slow and Kismet unique.

  15. Well, rats. But it's what I assumed. Getting the extra pool powers was a luxury anyway. Teammates can forget me teleporting them to the door, that's for sure.
  16. If I skip Lucky and Evasion in SR, those are the AoE defense, what is really going to kill me?

I'm doing a BS/SR toon and I'd really like to get a few more powers from the pools. I don't really see a lot of AoE in the game. Freak Tanks, sure, but how much damage could they really do?
  17. In a recent thread, someone said that claws/electric was a bad combination. So, I got out my claws/electric alt, in the mid 20s, and played around for a few hours doing missions.

I actually think Claws/Electric is pretty cool and I"m not sure why people dissed it. But, then again, I'm a sucker for damage auras. [Oh, and self heal and self +end].

    PLing?

Get a high level character of your and form a team with him as a member, use the police radio to get mishs, or any other way to get mishs. I'd fill out the team also, more fun, better chance that tanks or controllers will make the missions easier for you.
  19. Victory does have a smaller population, but that said, it's not like you can have more than 8 in your party anyway.

The advice on the channels is good, but on the smaller servers you will have long patches of time where there is no one on the channel also.

As for things to shoot for, badges, particularly ones that lead to accolades. And money, learn to market so you can get the IOs into your toons powers. Anyone that says the game can be played on only SOs is like when game developers list the minimum requirements to run a game. Sure, you could, but it's not the full game.

I started on Liberty and never soloed, but did pug exclusively. It's quite easy to get on teams on small servers as teams are actively looking for members rather than the other way around. The supply is low for the teams, rather than the players, like it is on Freedom, my home.

My personal goals, make really good costumes, buy all the booster packs, Get all the TFs on my favorite toon(s), keep my marketing toons at least active enough to support all my alts, explore new areas, like the Shard and RWZ, which also means getting weapon customizations and costume pieces, earn merits to buy stuff that way, and, if I really wanted to, make missions with the AE.

I don't really do AE for levels, but some people have made some fun stuff. One test of your toon that was made recently by a person I know, but can't remember his exact spelling of his name [Cyvert?] has three simultaneous ambushes spawned each time you kill a boss. Bad craziness.

But, hey, welcome to CoH(V). Katana ftw.

Well, crap. I'd not seen the images of the non-wide screen and I was dreamin' my lil dreams.

My hopes of slotting Kinetic Combat and Smashing Haymaker in the same power...*sniff*...oh, the huge manatee.
  21. I've seen them before, but one thing you can do is, in game, pull up info on the power and then slide the level slider and watch the numbers change.

That said, the slider is taking into account your enhancements, so it's not base unless you're unslotted.
  22. Tonight was fun, just doodling with the radio in PI and then getting to slap down the banners. Once the others on the island and we got synched up at the banners, the AM and mean ol' rad debuffs brought the banners down fast.

[I'm actually not sure my debuffs did anything on a big piece of wood.]

Next week, it sounded like we might do Midnighters. If you've not run it at a high level, and I've run it at 48, it's a sight to see. Too bad we can't just burn Lady Jane to a crisp and be over with it though.

I'm also interested in the Freakolympics. I've never run that.

Very fun having Biggie, and I don't remember his real name, along. He lacked travel powers so I rec-friended him around some, once dropping him around 10 stories to the ground. har har har.

[awaiting Hyper with official picture and rambling.]

I'd say two, as long as you took Char and Fire Cages.

    Hamidon raids?

So, all I need is a 50 to do this? And this is where all the HOs come from?

[sorry for the 18 mo vet newbie question, but I've never even seen Hamidon except for the Weakened Hami in the Shard-something TF]

Often, it's the costume and name that gets me to the higher levels. I can take a totally non-synergetic AT combo and take it to the early 30s if the toon looks cool and has a cool name.

A dorky name or a lame costume on an Uberpowerset doesn't make it past 15.

Though, some great names and great costumes get saved and redone. I have a toon, Liskil [my current avatar], who has been a spine/dark twice, a WS, and finally is a katana/dark in her 20s.

Oh, and as for not planning, oof, she already needs a respec.
