  1. I use the common bind when chatting in my SG channel of:
    /beginchat /send "channel" [$name, $archetype]

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was an "alignment" code that I could also enter (I've tried $alignment) that would identify Hero, Vig., Rogue, Villain.
  2. Personally, I would just like to have the "silenced" sound effect that the PPD Ghosts use as an option when using the silencer pistol types. The different colors of flight are enough for me to tell the difference in what I'm shooting.
  3. I'm running a DP/Traps and trying to work up a build in Mids, but I'm not familiar with Traps. I've read in countless places that Time Bomb was pretty much a waste, but I was wondering on the usefulness of Seeker Drones. Are these a "Must have" or a "If you have room" power?
  4. Very good question Elektro, but I think the answer really lies within yourself. I have a couple of characters that I have put massive amounts of money into, although I am not a Min/Maxer by any stretch. DP isn't the best of the best when it comes to powersets numerically, but quite frankly I find it a lot of fun to play. It all boils down to how much fun you are having with the character. If you like it, then it's worth investing in, if not then it's not.

    Whip Cracker

I've seen her a couple times running Tip Missions.
  6. You can usually find several in the various Undergrounds as well.
  7. I may be misinterpreting your question, or even the usage of the Alpha Boosts, but it is my understanding that you can only slot 1 boost regardless of tier and only get the boost related to that boost alone. So in other words, you can slot the common and get the 33% boost to damage, or slot the uncommon and get the 33% boost to damage and the 33% boost to immobilize.

These boosts are not cumulative in that you do not get 66% damage boost and 33% Immobilize boost for having created both tiers since you can only slot one or the other.
  8. Can someone please clarify for me...how is the current exploit doing anything different to the market than many of the marketeers have been doing all along?

Not long ago there was a thread going on the Market where one of the many marketeers was deliberately buying up large numbers of purple recipes to simply delete them, cranking up the market on them. To this action he was actually *praised* for what he was doing.
  9. Unfortunately, no you can't.
  10. I'm only planning on Respec'ing 1 character and that has less to do with Fitness going inherent and more to do with trying to improve his performance overall. My thoughts are I didn't need those other 3 powers to level up my characters to begin with so I don't see where they will make a difference now.

Check your facts, they have already stated in the discussion thread that the capes and auras are not Origin restricted, just Origin themed.
  12. We're a small laid-back SG of friends looking to bolster our numbers. Many of our core players have gone semi-active due to RL but we still try to get on as much as possible. We have a working base, Mumble server, and lots of experience. Willing to take in new and old players alike.

If you have any questions or are interested you can post here to set up a meeting in game for invite or drop one of our Founders a tell in game:

  13. I love the look on pretty much all of the stuff in this (probably not going to be using the mutation capes though).

Thanks Devs, can't wait to get my hands on it!

    Badging question

It was the defeat 200 COT Mages. I was hunting Death Mages in DA.

    Badging question

When I18 came out I moved my Brute Blueside. I noticed the other day that I was like 6 COT mages from the defeat badge so I went hunting. After taking out 6 I noticed that I didn't see the badge awarded. Checking my status I noticed that I was still short the 6.

If you start a defeat badge in the Isles, do defeats in Paragon not count towards that badge (and vice versa), essentially meaning that I have to go back redside to get the badge?
  16. I believe that the buff builds with each successful hit that you perform (up to 5 I think) on your enemies.
  17. Just out of curiosity, is anyone else having the issue that the damage calculation for Shield Charge isn't showing up for Brutes? It seems to show up fine for Scrappers.
  18. Taunt, slotted with Perfect Zinger chance for Psi Damage.
  19. It is. They showed it during the Apex TF preview but said it was actually part of the Tin Mage TF, it just looked cool so they wanted to put it in the video.
  20. I don't think so, but I would love to be proved wrong. In the Q&A session someone asked if the flying swords had anything to do with the incarnate slot and they replied it had to do with the TF, though hesitantly.
  21. To my knowledge Shadow Maul is an AOE attack and thus can only take AOE sets. Since Ghost Widows Embrace is a Hold set, you shouldn't be able to slot it in that power.

I don't know about the VG.
  22. I would love to see an update to the Flintlock pistols for DP.

    DB/WP Scrapper

Here is my rebuild. I wanted to try to keep costs down and utilize many of the sets I already had while still getting his defense boosted as Tips have been killing me lately.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

  24. I don't know about specific tip missions, but I'm still wondering why my character that runs radios/contact missions with ease at -1/8 is getting annihilated at -1/4. I barely am able to get my Lightning Rod activated before I'm eating dirt.

Seems to me teh difficulty in Tips is majorly borked.
