Ghost widows Embrace is a hold set- you can only slot it in powers that can take hold sets.
I'd imagine the SG would go poof.
To my knowledge Shadow Maul is an AOE attack and thus can only take AOE sets. Since Ghost Widows Embrace is a Hold set, you shouldn't be able to slot it in that power.
I don't know about the VG.
Aha I see hmnn which would prove problamatic for a character using Willpower & Dark Meele unless I use the full 'Ghost Widows Embrace'
set on one of the 'Soul Mastery' patron powers when I get it hmnnnn.

Neener Sets (aka Taunt), but only for Tankers and Brutes.
If you want a power that can take Ghost Widow's Embrace, you are limited to:
Arctic Mastery
Earth Mastery
Pyre Mastery
None of the Patron pools for Tankers have a hold power (and neither does Energy Mastery).

I'm still trying to figure out what could be so important in the GWE set that a Tank needs/wants to warp a build around it.
Set bonuses aren't especially fantastic or anything:
+5% Run Speed
+1.88% Hit Points
+2.25 Endurance
+2.5% Hold Time Bonus
+3.13% Psionic Resistance
Other than the 6 slot bonus the rest are easily gained elsewhere and/or are rather 'Meh'.
And as far as the base goes, you'll be fine. When you switch sides, you aren't actually removed from the SG, just placed on permanent "hold status". The SG will stay there (inaccessable) until you actually quit the SG (then it goes away) or come back to the proper side of things (and you'll be reinstated into the SG).

function it is decerated out rather nicely if I do say so my self.

I know as far as the base thing, That if there's more than one char in the Sg the leadership will switch to the one at the lower rank that's logged in most recently. Much like an inactive Demote

Okay I have the Ghost widows Embrace set and My Tank is now a Villian
but I can not get the Enhancements to to go nto the slots.
Piffit's Level 39 and the enhancement's are also level 39 but they wont go
into Shadow Maul which is one the power's I regularly(sp) use, its most
frustrating to be sure....is tehre some thing so increadbly obvious that I
am missing?
