Just reached 26 on my Plant/Storm Controller and have been thinking about how to slot Carrion Creepers. I plan on maxing recharge, then some accuracy, but beyond that I don't know what works well for the power. What are some of the common slotting conventions for Carrion Creepers? Anyone have any combos they really like? It seems like it'd be a power that would be great for frankenslotting and procs.
When I've slotted, I've used all 6 slots. My standard slotting for SO's is 1 - accuracy, 3 - recharge, 2 - damage.

Trap of the Hunter increases my Immob powers and gives me additional health points while increasing Accuracy - Recharge - Immob and reducing my Endurance cost. Detonation helps me resist sleep and energy damage while increasing my Damage - Recharge - Range and reducing my Endurance cost. There may be other ways of slotting I/O sets, but I do like the way this setup is working for me. I hope it helps. -

Just an FYI, long inactive SGs and Bases sometimes encounter the bug where either you can't enter the Base or the Base has no power even though Rent is paid or the SG Registrar claims it's already paid up. You'll need to send a Petition in for a GM to fix the problem. -

I want to try and pick up an old SG that has long since disbanded. My brother left his toons in the SG but the account has not been used in a couple of years. I want to see if I can pick up the SG and bring it back to life. I tried to use the same SG and was told that it already exist and that made me think that if he can reactivate it during the next double experience / free reactivation weekend, he should be able to invite me to the SG and I would be able to take it from there. Am I on the right track or would there be issues with what Im thinking. Would he have to pay for the account before he could do anything with the SG side of it?

My Plant / Storm just hit 47. He's been a solo monster. He's teamed up once in a while, but most of the time, I'm running solo with him. He's an absolute blast playing. I've played Doms a little here and there, but I'm more of a blue side player. Seeds and Carrion really makes a difference for plant and I would assume, red or blue side would enjoy the benifit from these powers.

I've used it on both my Ice / Storm and Plant / Storm. I respec'ed out both times. My Earth / Storm uses it all the time. I'll lay down Quicksand then hit Thunder Clap and then hit Stalagmites. By then, I've stunned everyone in the area. Then I just pick them off. It's a good power, but you have to really work with it to make it worth the power pick.

I run solo almost all the time. I have had a lot of experience with controllers and have played every primary / secondary set. I've always scripted out my builds on Mid's and most of the time, have done real well with the build. Here is my level 43 Grav / Force build. He's never teamed once and I've run on -1 / 3 settings No AV's. Some bosses are easier than others, and if you want, you can turn off bosses when you solo run.
I always like using the invention system where I can, but I don't start really building sets until my toon reaches 50. I will, however, insert set items I know I will be using down the road that prove to be rare and hard to get (Numina's +Regen +Recovery is my favorite).

I took a level 50 Controller I've had for a while and decided to play with the flashback system a bit. I've never really messed with it much other than completing the origional quests to get the teleport power. I decided I would finish the Frostfire arc. I don't run those missions much and thought I would have some fun time out in the Hollows getting a few badges. Well, I was very suprised that I was not able to complete the mission. I fail time after time after time. I had the settings as low as I could go and I lost every time. I've soloed Frostfire before without any problems, but the difference is I may have picked up the mission a few levels before so soloing it was no issue. The flashback puts him either equal even higher and he's an elite boss with kick backside powers.
So, it started me thinking. I've been running a lot of radio and paper missions and by passing a lot of contacts because I was thinking I would just use the flashback system and finish them off later. If I'm going to have the same kind of problems with other missions this way as I had with Frostfire, is there a list of arcs out there that are recommended to complete while I'm leveling rather than when I'm flashing back? Teaming is one option, but because of odd hours, it makes it a bit harder for me to team. I end up running solo more times than not. Thanks for the help! -

No - I have set up a family SG on Champion. We may not run together, but we don't have to worry about who takes what from the sg storage. Even if I were to play on a different server, I wouldn't jump into the first SG that sent an invite. I like to check things out first. Most of the time, a sg isn't important to me until I'm in the 20's anyway. That's when I find that the transporters and storage becomes more handy. -
I've been using it as a static team build. Thermal is a real bonus. I'm still in my 20's and havn't had a lot of exposure to solo running, so a lot of the time, the team will start in taking much of the alpha (crab, brute or widow). The only issues I've had with genin is one get running off before I can call it back and he drags a few mobs with him, he may not survive depending on the number he's pulling, but he will take a few shots before he drops. It will be interesting to see how they fair at higher levels.

A mutual friend set us up on a blind date on new years eve 1986. We've been together ever since. 23 years later we're still very happy and love spending lots of time together. Even now, playing CoH and watching TV, we love having each other in the room. Something warm and cozy knowing that we're here for each other.

Howdy All. We started up the static team last night. Nice Buffs and I went ahead and ran some radio missions and each leveled. It is quite amazing how well missions can be run with two controllers. Illusion and Earth. We both had Radiation so it was a simple and clean set of runs. I know that Tanker Tuesday and Task Force Tuesday all fell into play last night, but we kept things going for ya all. Hope to see ya again next week! There is serious action brewing and we heroes need to put a stop to it fast! Later All!
