Don't give up on Flashback, just because of Frostfire; that mish is notoriously difficult and not indicative of other story arcs thru Flashback.
Edit: I was so thankful that they put a hospital in zone as part of the Hollows revamp. Last time I soloed Frostfire (normal mish not thru Flashback) I literally died, rezzed, bought a tray full of insps from contact right there, flew back, pounded on him and/or his minions some more, died, rezzed, bought a tray full of insps, flew back, pounded on him and/or his minions some more, died, rezzed, bought a tray full of insps, flew back and finally defeated him.
With a tank. (SD/Battle Axe).

Bring Shivans. Bring nukes. All temp powers (including vet powers) are available if you don't have that limitation selected.
Bring friends. (Unfortunately, to bring friends, you must re-start the story arc. Really wish Ouro worked like AE, where you can invite people midway.)

I took a level 50 Controller I've had for a while and decided to play with the flashback system a bit. I've never really messed with it much other than completing the origional quests to get the teleport power. I decided I would finish the Frostfire arc. I don't run those missions much and thought I would have some fun time out in the Hollows getting a few badges. Well, I was very suprised that I was not able to complete the mission. I fail time after time after time. I had the settings as low as I could go and I lost every time. I've soloed Frostfire before without any problems, but the difference is I may have picked up the mission a few levels before so soloing it was no issue. The flashback puts him either equal even higher and he's an elite boss with kick backside powers.
So, it started me thinking. I've been running a lot of radio and paper missions and by passing a lot of contacts because I was thinking I would just use the flashback system and finish them off later. If I'm going to have the same kind of problems with other missions this way as I had with Frostfire, is there a list of arcs out there that are recommended to complete while I'm leveling rather than when I'm flashing back? Teaming is one option, but because of odd hours, it makes it a bit harder for me to team. I end up running solo more times than not. Thanks for the help!
