Ice Melee was removed from brutes because the -recharge made it hard do build fury.

Ice Armour (brute) was converted into Energy Aura, so there would be a thematic pairing with a power they did get, rather than a power they didn't.

I don't recall anyone ever saying that. The only argument I recall regarding pistols and range is in regard to pistols as a scrapper set - it would be stupid because limiting a pistol to 7 foot range would be stupid.

There have been several hints that Pistols will be the next new set for blasters, defenders and corruptors.

Dark has the best synergy, the to-hit debuffs support +def, and it has hp and end recovery powers to cover the gaps in Shield.

Broadsword would also be good, if tankers got it


Weapon sets are popular for concept reasons, and War Mace is quite buffed now.

Are you sure Synapse didn't award you 45 merits, then award you 22 merits?

You can only autotarget mobs if you have them in your line of sight anyway. Not always a great deal of help in locating hostages hidden round corners.

I'm in favor of an audio clue, or text, i.e. hostage goes "help, help" when player aproaches withín a certain range.

It would be more realistic than the glowie sound anyway.

Not entierly true. With debt reduced to poinlessness, being defeated, for someone with a self res, is Hibernate without the time limit.

As for RotP, slot it for damage, use it in conjunction with Self Destruct.
