  2. so i have had a 50 ss/elec sitting around for a long time and decided to IO it for pvp. heres a build i came up with and looking for suggestions/improvements, im going for end drain to try and drop there toggles and smash away... its mainly just for duels cuz in zone he's no good. any pows i can drop/change?

    SS/SD build

    DN is great if u can fit it in but u also have to at least 4 slot it. if u can fit it in then go for it but i dont see how
  4. id go ss/elec imo. i have one i pvp with and its awesome for that, also /elec is great for rikti and the heal is awesome. also powersink helps with SS end issues and u can save money and merits on not having to get a miracle+end proc cuz powersink is the bomb.
    The resists in /elec are great and with layered s/l def your survivability will be good. (i got my elec/elec to 35 s/l def and 60 s/l resist) i took soul mastery on my /elec pve build, gloom,dark obliteration, and darkest night. you can slot good def bonuses in them and darkest night is the best imo, -dam -tohit which helps u stay alive even more. i love to toggle it on bosses/av's and smash away.
    my elec/elec can easily farm +4 rikti is RWZ.
    Elec melee is alright but not nearly as strong as SS. but ive seen elec/wp rock it too.
    if your into pvp at all id def go ss/elec/mu and for pve:ss/elec/soul

  6. this is half of what u asked, its a great build i use for my elec/elec brute but i have soul mastery with gloom,dark obliteration(another aoe and -to hit),and darkest night which works great to toggle on bosses/av in a mob. it helps lower dam taken and -tohit. If u want mu then switch out gloom/dark obliteration for w/e u want in mu and take either jacobs ladder/chain induction instead of darkest night and slot with 4 kinetic combats for the s/l/m def

  8. thx for the imput and build. I looked over yours and made a few adjustments, got 120% rech, DP at 114 sec rech with 1232 heal and adds 904 health. The LOTG on tough hide i moved to CJ cuz the def value is exactly the same and with it on CJ i get another +10% regen and -end drain a lil bit. and moved over a slot to add the +6% acc which i actually have one laying around. i added more end recov to get 3.60. i dont mind having 2 sets of oblits for the smashing chance on the aoe and cone. and with 4 in range of invincibility im getting 44.9 so not too shabby.

Well i was also building for more end recov which is why i slotted invincibility they way i did and skipped weave/cj for less end drain. i have a IO'd SS/Invul that works great in pvp/pve with aid self cuz SS is end heavy. I dont mind making this invul different but hows the end issue with mace? and are we gonna be able to get Hero Patron pows in GR?

So i have a mace/invul brute im Io'ing, and b4 i get too far along ive made 2 builds i like, one has 45 s/l def with 10 guys around and has jawbreaker(another melee attack) or 2nd build has 40 s/l def with 10 guys around and i replaced jawbreaker with whirling mace for a aoe attack. Im debating if i should go with another single target attack (jawbreaker) and higher def or aoe attack and a lil lower def. what u guys think?

    Electric Armour

    yes and yes. depends on what your trying to do but they kill end with Mu patron powers and powersink in PVP. for pve they will be awesome for anything rikti and if u can get your s/l def to 35 and s/l resist to about 60 and melee def around 30 then they will be set for other enemies. i have darkest night on my elec/elec brute and it helps so so much imo. keeps them from hitting u and -dam taken and my heal rechs in 36 sec w/ just under 800 heal. and i can easily do +4/8 against rikti/energy type damage
    So thats my two cents.
  14. I changed a few IO's around and arm lash now does great damage. and still sofcapped. i skipped the pets becuz when im farming TV map they just get destroyed way to fast. i learned from experience, and your resist seems a lil low, but the each there own

  15. having any power perma is always a good thing, never is it bad, but noone can make u click the heal or set it on auto, the fact is on the crab heal..u want it to rech asap so u can heal yourself whenever u so choose. i personally use it as a heal when my health is at halfway. Although i wish they would cut the rech time of it down a bit kinda like the Energize power. I still feel it takes a while to rech when i need it the most.
  16. so i have nin/therm mm at lvl 24, but i just wanna know whats the best powers to take and if anyone has a MIDS build that is pimp and will be the best way to optimize that set.
  17. So far i havent seen a better tanking crab than mine posted here, so ill grin and bite my teeth and post mine cuz its killing me to see some others out there...hope u like it. and i also farm Tv liberate map at +1/8 without difficulty

  19. heres a crab build thats more for solo play even though crabs are built for groups..hence why i put it in this thread. I skipped all the team buffs and focused more on soloing the tv farm mish which i can do at +1/8 without difficulty

    Inv/Fm build

    your defeating the whole purpose of Invincibility. On your build you would have 55 s/l def with 10 enemies around you, a lil over kill. Try to be at 45 S/l def with 10 guys around u. Becuz your wasting slots and gimping your end recov, your acc sucks and your Slots on BU are a joke, its not even barely helping to hit BU, slot that with 6 Gaussains.
    And really if you dont have 10 guys around you, Invul isnt going to come close to dying so you dont need to be softcapped with 1 guy around you. Seriously!

    Your end drain is terrible. i have a ss/invul with .64 drain and 3.97 end recov and its still a bit end heavy when im constantly fighting and clicking powers.

    Another thing, i took off 8 slots of your pounding sluggfist and Added 1 to health with the +regen proc and got more regen than your 8 slots combined!!!!!

    So now u got 7 more slots to use! Put 5 on BU and start slotting for end recov and try to hit s/l resist at 72
    Also dont slot Gloom for ranged, just slot for s/l def, its impossible to get positional def as well and frankly not needed. id slot gloom with 5 set decimation
    You dont need the LOTG def/end on tough hide..its an auto power.and the 16 health isnt big enough to waste a slot on. Id get the t9 and use Demonic aura for the crash and dull pain to keep ya alive, Ive survived PVP and ITF on the towers using that method. And your a god for 3 mins.
    Also, id drop weave/cj and get Aid self. IMHO its way better for Invul and its still possible to softcap s/l def with 10 guys around u. 4 slot Numinas and 2 interupts, which also add (6%) to your heals, my DP heals for 1349 and aid self heals for 633.
    Aid self IMO is better than the def cuz 1. it lowers your end drain considerably and 2. Is there as back up while DP is rech. Only prob i have with invul is Rikti, which is why i have a elm/ela.
    Id get resist elements and i used 3 sets of aegis for the fire/cold def, currently my ss/invul isnt softcapped s/l/fire/cold is at 35 but i dont hardly ever die

  23. oh i hear ya there..i think thats a great idea and i do that as well to maximize my aoes. Nothing worse or more stupid than wasting A BU/LR (and the amount of rech time it took) to finish off a few guys in a mob. i just run to nearby mob and they follow.
  24. yes kins are great for stoneys...no doubting that. but what do u do when there isnt one...

    Answer: Make a better build, get purps to increase Rech, if u cant afford purps then slot for rech, you should be idealy around 10%-20% rech WITH granite on. and with hasten up around 80%-90%. i have a ss/stone build with 22.5% rech in granite with 4.09 end recov 1.24 end drain and 88 s/l resist and 35 s/l def. with only 1 purple set of hetacomb. and if i put 5 set of armageddon with +rech proc in Footstomp i can get rech to 32.5% with end recov at 4.12.
    might need to re work your build again to increase rech and end recovery
  25. i never used leviathan but i really enjoy soul on my elec/elec. the dark obliteration is a nice aoe addition and i find my self using it alot in my attack chain with BU. I skipped jacobs latter and chain induction, both powers just piss me off and i had no room for them. I posted my latest build on the other thread..that one has 45 acc. i will say that ELM isnt very high damage, so fighting enemies +1 and up takes a while.
    I run +0/8 with no bosses on my tix farm and i clear the map in 14 minutes/tix cap. i really have np killing, maybe try the -res cone(if thats what u want to keep)/BU/TS/LR/whatever u got next/TS/and by this time i power sink and/or energize and use havoc/gloom till TS and Dark obliteration is rech. But by then the mob is dead so i move on and repeat.
