  1. Im running StJ/SD/Pyre Mastery scrap, and oh course its end heavy, but after i got t4 ageless its awesome now. Hardly any end problems and i dont even have accolades yet.
    Also having 5 purp sets helps my end recovery. But overall its one of my favorite toons to play, fun factor is top notch on StJ, and with the added Aoes from Shield Charge/Fire Ball (which crits) its a very fun toon and ageless helps tons keeping the attacks rolling.
    Id suggest getting ageless if u can bare skipping barrier. My motto is kill em b4 they kill you and the added Aoes help tons.
  2. I currently have the t4 reactive 75% fire dot, was wondering if the diamagnetic is good to use, and if so..whats the best t4 to choose?

    Is the 100% -regen even gonna be worth it, seems like it'll only stack to 40% max. At that point is the fire DOT better for more damage?

    And is the 20% max stacked -tohit also very noticable enough to use over the reactives DOT? if it helps with survivability enough i was thinking of taking the 100% -tohit 50% -regen T4...

  3. Is it just me or is the +10 Enhancement slots completely overpriced? 1600 PP is basically $20 for 10 more enhancement slot holders, or $40 for 20 more... id love to have it but not for $20-$40.

    The first three combine macros T1, T2, and T3.
    The last deletes awakens and targets the nearest LT.

    i just made the delete macro much better for me, it not only deletes the rezzes but also the single or double ins that cant be used to make a red, which is usefull in a farm if your trays full of crap u cant use or after the farm when your deleting the ins u cant combine to fill back up on reds...here it is..

  7. yea i run chick magnet farm for 7500 tix in about 6-7 mins.. its also a great map for fast tix runs. been making bank off it.

    But i can also run that map at 4/8 in under 3 mins too for ez PL

    and i use the red macros to make reds, works perfectly
  8. Ok here is my ultimate build for my FM/WP/Pyre brute..its a ton of fun..

    My ST attack chain is BU/GFS/Incinerate/Cremate...Its non stop, just those 3 attacks.

    If im in a mob 10+ enemies...Bu/Fire Ball/FSC/GFS/Incinerate/Cremate/FSC/Fire Ball..then run to next mob.

    I took barrier to softcap s/le/ne, just about perma hasten and i tried to maximize acc since my old build had only 9% acc and i missed a lot and its irritating when GFS misses since its a long animation. IMO fire melee can be a little slow and sometimes it gets on my nerves since i like to be a fast player, But having the pyre mastery for extra attacks and aoe is a nice balance and seems faster. Can be a lil end heavy so Ageless wouldnt be a bad idea either.

    Also i dont even use fire sword attack, instead ill use fire blast cuz its actually more damage. I like char for when im doing a LGTF, i can help hold greens, also is nice to hold a boss.

  9. Heres another option...i just changed a few things off of your build.

    More acc/rech..s/l def...id suggest taking barrier for the 5% def to softcap s/l def.

    Id skip the t9 cuz with barrier you shouldnt need it and energize for the heal.

    More rech really helps elec melee and the Mu Lightning is great for killing runners or for a decent ranged attack.

  10. i start my time after my veng bait has gone and died and i run down the stairs..cuz why start time if your not killing?

    i played a few new maps for Pl'ing and ya there are bigger and more enemies in some other maps..however running around caves or in the plane hanger trying to gather all the guys can get annoying. I use mu lightning and i never have to move much at all on cyborgs. i jsut shoot the breakables..and its ez. I was moving more in some other maps.

    Also i like cyborg just cuz i can also use it as a quick tix farm as i PL..so i make more INF on sales from rolls.

    When u start killing of course(i start time right when i run by and hit veng, then i start attacking...) and when u hit the mish complete comp. and All the enemies dead.

  12. So whats your best time with your ss/fa on cyborg 4/8? Cuz most /fa i see i ask and about 99% of the population answers between 5-7 mins..

  13. TOTALLY irrelevant in AE farm mish...i have to agree to disagree with ya.. it definetly helps keep my damage up so i dont have to use so many reds and its also pretty darn good damage.
  14. Hey Fiery-Enforcer guess what?..stop telling me what to do.. and yea i mentioned i like it for outside AE....exactly my point why perma soul drain is fun.

    Im just sharing my experience with it and what its capable of so dont be a friggin naysayer. Its just another option if your bored of ss/fa...it does perform well and mine can compete with ss/fa

    and what i mean by faster than most ss/fa is that MINE is faster than the hundreds of ss/fa's i see farming on freedom...i just happen to have a superior build and i make dm/fa a good farmer...everyones experience will vary.

    Of course SS/FA should be faster and is, but imo it can be a good competitor against elec...claws...fire

    And seeing how the OP said he had his eye on dm/fire..i thought id give him my thoughts on it since i probably have the best DM/Fire build out there.

  16. If anyone has seen my dm/fa/mu brute INSANE farm, then they can tell ya that DM can rock it with the right build..faster than most SS/FA. Also keep in mind that perma soul drain is the shiz if u can accomplish it.

    Its gonna be expensive build but i absolutely love my dm/fa...and not just AE...farming reg mishs is fun and not overly boring. DM is a fun set if you know what your doing and have the inf to build it right.

    Kin/Fire Brutes

    If your not stuck on KM and dont want/like SS, dark/fire can be amazing if built right. Soul drain is awesome and another +end aoe power.

    This toon for farming or just normal pve?

    Also btw i have a KM/Invul scrapper, pretty decent toon but can seem a lil Single Targeted, the AOE on KM isnt all that great.

    I think KM is fun at first but kinda gets old to me, im sure others feel the same way.

    I have way more fun on my Fire/Wp/Pyre or Dark/Fire/Mu brutes

    My midnight grasp hits just as hard as CS when PVE farming(as i barely use it in AE farming) but it hits bosses hard..talking like 600-700 sometimes when i got my damage bonus around 500 and soul drain is a nice +tohit +dam, esp when it gets perma'd. 8)

    Here ya go, a lil more expensive but it gets the job done, take barrier to softcap s/l/e/ne and your golden. Id take the Spiritual Core Paragon 45% rech alpha for getting hasten closer to perma.

    I just moved some slots around that you were wasting and over slotting powers.

    Took stealth for less end drain and still hit 40% def, also sometimes i like to be able to stealth at certain times, like when you have to get the glowie on one of the RSF mishs with all the LB around.

    Also, power placement isnt optimal, i just went off your original posted build. Id take jab sooner than its slotted and hasten. Move stealth/manuvers to Lvl 50 power slot

    And your build got 3000+ hp??? something seems odd there.


    Edit* ok figured it out..your build had hero accolades on, and then i put the villain ones on, so it was stacked which isnt possible in game. so turning those off your hp was at 2700+.
  22. or make both and try it out for yourself, everyone plays differently so everyones opinion is gonna be different...Both are great for end game material, both have strengths and weaknesses. Usually i take the energy mastery with invul and as i explained in earlier post, you can take the pyre mastery for another aoe and not completely kill your blue bar with a WP. Barrier seems like the best choice for a non farming brute so i do consider endurance even after completely IO'd because you wont have ageless, i hate having to use blues all the time or rely on them...thats my 2 cents
  23. I love my kat/dark.. actually after reading one of Werners post on his i built one too. Built it with 40% ranged/aoe def and let Divine Aval. do its thing with melee. Took barrier for the last 5% and cardiac for endurance.

    Darks got some good debuff resistance and fear protection(im looking at you Riders) as well as great psi resist and decent s/l/neg/f/c resist too.

    I have 10 toggles on mine with foc accuracy and such but cardiac handles that and i have Conserve Power.

    I rarely ever die and can tank things better than some brutes, so kat/da can be great.
  24. I love both, have built both many times. I have a Fire/wp brute, and am currently rebuilding him, i took pyre mastery for more aoe/ranged attack/hold.

    Id suggest WP since its able to handle that kind of endurance drain. Invul might be more survivable but your gonna be limited to only FM attacks and be able to sustain end. Unless u took ageless +recovery, but i took barrier to get that last 5% def to my s/l.

    I was able to hit 40%s/l 35% e/ne 34% f/c 29 melee(w/o barrier) and 150% rech, perma hasten as well. 2607 hp with 130 hp/sec max regen. Its an expensive build but gonna be worth it.

    I think you have more room for patron powers with WP, so id suggest Fire/WP. Fire Sword Circle+Fire Ball+Reactive+Barrier=Winning
  25. your not even hitting 40% ranged...also i keep tray of purples handy and 1 small purple softcapps it. I got the 3% def proc from 30 vill merits, it doesnt take that long to get.

    Personally hate EM Pulse and flares, both are wasted powers imo but to each there own.

    I was just trying to balance high recharge and ranged def. You got higher def but not by much and less rech.

    Also the Kismet Acc proc only works if u keep toggleing hover every 120 sec. So if you plan on that then keep it, but i skipped it and took CJ.

    Also hate getting KB, you might wanna put a KB proc in Super Speed

    Rad can be very end heavy with all the toggles on and constantly fighting an ememy, conserve power is awesome for keeping the blue bar filled, id suggest taking that.

    Changed a few slots to hit 41 ranged. over 20 on melee/aoe as well. Lost some recharge but still higher rech than on yours. I think the glad proc is worth getting for this build seeing as how it helps me hit 40% ranged and power boost gets me softcapped for 12.5 sec.
