  1. Mine is in that little blue glowing cylinder behind City hall. It is a big base though because we have doors in pretty much every part of the city. For some odd reason though the exit and entrances are not in the same location.

That's how time passes. If you zoom back to level 1 on a new character, you zoom back in time back to 2004, back when Vahzilok was still alive, when the Clockwork King hadn't been beaten, when Countess Crey was still a free woman, when the second Rikti invasion hadn't happened yet.
So when my wife is on her newly created level 1 character she is in 2004 Atlas talking to my current day level 50 character? Interesting concept, we don't even need some silly mailbox for us to communicate.

Good gosh, I so need to learn to do these things. That's awesome.
  5. Prior to I17, mobs that I have not gotten to had generally remained in close quarters to one another. Yes there may have been a straggler but in general they remained in place. This issue has them all over the place. I am not complaining but I do see it happening.

My combat level shows 29 in the UI, my big bot is lvl 29. /whoall shows combat lvl 29. The character I'm doing this on is a lvl 50 Bots/TA villain through the flashback system.

I tried searching on the forum, didn't find anything. Anybody else notice this?

    Thanks,

    Duey
You will have access to powers up to level 34 if you are doing a flashback at level 29. Exemping to a lower level gives you the next 5 levels of powers you have available.
  7. This is happening to me as well. No ports forwarded and connected to a wired LAN. It isn't as often, maybe once or twice a play session and others in one of my chat channels have it happen as well at the same time. Now, this is Freedom server and as it is happening to more than just me I am inclined to think it is not my rig.

To the op, are you soloing? Does it happen to any of your friends at the same time?

I only have characters on Freedom, sorry.
  9. Thanks Rangle,

I am not that familiar with SS and wasn't sure if I made the right choices. Was half expecting to hear that I made some wrong choices for what I was looking for.

Again, thanks for giving it the once over.
  10. Greetings tankers,

I was cleaning out some old characters I wasn't going to play and came across a level 21 SD/SS tank on page three of my character list. I started with a Fire/Stone tank and moved on to a Stone/EM tank. Over the past year and a half I have been controlling, scrapping and put about 700 hours into my Warshade.

Seeing this, I have decided to return to tanking. I have read a few posts about them on the forums and have come to a build I think I might be interested in. I think this build might be a tad pricey but I can cover much of it as I run a lot of TF's and seem to have pretty good luck with reward rolls to get most of my influence.

    Here is what I am looking for;

I would like durability for team tanking and still be able to move solo rather quickly. Below is what I have come up with that I "think" will suit my needs but would like a once over to be sure I haven't missed anything too important. I still have two slots I need to find a place for as well.

Can I blame the dev's for that?

  14. I wasn't the good little soldier I should have been and taken screenies but we topped 70 deaths and finished both in about 3.5 hours. Oddly enough the two places we didn't die were the cyst that spawned on the last map and with the good doctor. I couldn't hold enough aggro in dwarf to make a difference.

I do thank all those on the team for sticking it out as it was a nice change from the original TF though.

That's a big if though. I have an Nvidia 260 GTX with 1.8GB of memory running on a quad-core I7 processor with 9GB of RAM so I think my system specs are within reason yet I saw tremendous lag.

I am sure that many times it is on the end user side but last night on Freedom was as bad as I have experienced. I gave up after two hours because I couldn't do anything. I was really hoping for those AV badges, getting them on a Warshade in a PVP zone is brutal, though it may have been easier than last night.

The thing with the GM's, AV's and "zone events" being contained to mainly 2 zones causes the vast majority of the players to congregate and causes severe lag spikes. The one thing that caused essentially "flash mobs" in a given zone. I know I am ranting here and I do not know if others feel the same way, however I am not saying that this was a terrible idea, I am saying that it needs to be reworked.
I agree, I was hoping to get at least one badge from the AV's. I tried but no matter what team I got on we couldn't break the 10% marker to get them. Didn't help that I had to wait an average on 60 seconds before my next attack would go off.

Today, Freedom is an entirely different story for me. Click a power, go get a drink. Come back and wait for it to finish and then click the next power.
  23. I must be one of the lucky ones, I didn't experience any lag.
