I was on Justice when the event started. I was lucky to get 2fps when looking at the battle under Atlas from the steps of City Hall. Went inside as Streng and Frostlings started attacking me. They followed. Then the announcement of a Rikti Invasion in Atlas. Then I died and it took almost 2 minutes for the go-to-hospital panel to show up.
This bodes badly for my badger on Freedom getting the Winter Lord's badge (or the ones for Halloween Jack & Eochai, if those're the versions that show up).

I have to say, yesterday's 6th anniversary event was pretty cool. My favorite was the group of Jack in Irons standing atop the capital dome in a ring around the flag. I had never fought him before, and yesterday I got to help take down more than half a dozen in 5-10 minutes time.
Last year, during the 5th Anniversary event, I just ran from zone to zone without ever finding anything at all happening. This year it was easy to find arch villains and giant monsters aplenty. I think it was a great idea to limit the event to a few announced zones. Made it easy to zero in on where the action was.

2600 mode would have been great - a big green box would work better for explaining why I couldn't stand close enough to Ghost Widow to hit her.
Graphically it wasn't bad, but I wonder if a better card would have upped my attack speed to two per minute.

That said, my graphics card, new as of six months ago, won't let me think about these events. I stayed on different servers than the events.
I don't hear anyone complaining about getting mapserved.

I felt jipped out of the badge, myself. I would hit an attack and 60-120 seconds later, I would hear it but not see it hit.
Couldn't even leave the zone.
The lag was so bad I actually got booted for inactivity at one point. That's just...harsh.
Graphics quality was all the way to the left as well...and I even turned Character detail to low, as the lowest slider setting is medium.
