Hey Gang,
I have an Ice/Ice/Ice blaster from way back when. I still pull him out for H-Merit runs and the occasional TF. I've inclused the build below for you to look over. Some highlights are 45% S/L defense, 32.5% Energy/Nenergy defense, near HP cap, 55% recharge and epic controls (for a blaster anyway). Also a nice plus is this toon can be played at range OR in melee. Chilling Embrace + Tough = some help vs S/L attacks that do get through defenses and Perma Ice Patch should make going in close safe. The build also allows you to hold boss level mobs quickly with Freezing Ray and Freezing Touch.

After thinking about how to RP my Time defender as a time traveling do-gooder, it just made sense to pick up the Cimerorians as Lore pets. They're just that good.
-
I was thinking about adding the WG to increase slow resistance. I shall take you up on your sugguestion. Will running Cloak and the travel IO stealth proc give me invisability?
-
Quote:Shadey,Nice build. I'm leveling up one now. Is endo a big problem for you? I was thinking of Dark mastery for another source of end, but i like the ... Holy hell, your mistress is perma?
I think your slotting on Dark Embrace is good. you have -25% dam in your Time's Juncture if you want it (I can see you leaving it off sometimes with this build).
General question, why is everyone taking vengeance these days? for incarnate trials? I would consider getting aim back in your rotation in place of it.
Thank you for your response. I think most ppl are going with vengence in their builds these days is two fold. One, it's a great slot mule for a LOTG 7.5% and TWO, someone in the late game is going to die. Make the most out of that corspe and buff yourself and the team.
Endurance was a probelm up until I slotted Chronoshift for endurance mod, it's helped a great deal. I've found having the Mistress pet up perma to be a big help while solo'ing as well. She does great damage for a patron pet and I think even has a mini nuke of her own.
I've also find that I almost never use Dark Embrace. I can softcap to all positions with power boost > farsight and this usually keeps me upright. All in all it's been a fun ride and I feel really useful in most team situations. -
I once again come to the Scrapper forums with build plan in hand looking for assistance. I've just finished off my Time/Ice Defender and am ready to turn my attention to my Scrapper. The build is softcapped to the 6 major types, has about 80% recharge before any buffs and did take Overload for the HP buff. Please give it a once over and tell where I might have messed up and sugguest anything you might feel would improve its perfromance. Thanks.

My personal best thus far has come on my WM/SD scrapper @7:54.
-
Solar flare has better damage, endurance cost and recharge. The KB is a little annoying but it a great power to put a +rech proc and/or a -res proc. If you truly hate the KB then you can go spring attack but you've got to get 2 other leaping powers first. I don't like to spend that many power choices due to the fact that we already get a travel power.
-
I have to admit, I don't think I'm man enough to run a WS. It stings a liitle to admit this because 1) Pride 2) I lack the expertise and 3) Resources to pull off a decent build. With some regret I'm going to shelve the WS for the time being. I won't say never to a WS but I can say, "not right now".
I apologize to you that have posted here for wasting your collective time. -
Thank you for the honest critque. I suppose my crafting of PB has mislead me a touch (or a mile) as it concerns putting a WS together. Let me refine what it is I'll do with this toon. I actually don't see myself attmepting to solo any AVs. I find it boring. However, I do like teaming and solo'ing missions at times. I really just need something that's durable and effective. I'll rework the build some and get back here with it.
-
Was poking around on the kheld forums and saw that a gentleman had solo'd Bobcat on his all HUMAN WS. I currently have an all humman PB that I've IO'd out and enjoy a good deal. I don't really care for shape-shifting so all human WS roughing up a 53 AV was an eye opener. I'd like some on you WS vets to take a look-see at this build and tell me if you can see any room to improve. Only rule is I will not be taking any forms. Thanks.

And don't get me started on Crowd Control crits ....[/QUOTE]
SSshhhhhhssshhhshshshhh. Nothing to see here. -
Controllers are insanely powerful toons, if not the most powerful in the game. And I do mean all facets of the game. If you think damage is lacking then you should really take a closer look at what controllers can do. I'm completely OK with your preference for Corruptors. That's your opinion and I respect that. Don't tell me that they can't deal damage in addtition to support.

Huzzah! Mid's 1.95 Hero Builder hath been released to us. Mana from heaven!
Anywho, here's the build I'm currently rolling with. I've played it through some content over the weekend was happy with its performance for the most part but another set of eyes can never hurt.
I felt a little guilty giving Soul Drain 5 slots but having it near perma has been real nice in conjunction with Ice Storm and Blizzard. I also thought I should give Dark Embrace more love? I'm getting 31% resist to S/L with just those two slots and haven't really felt it needed more with Defenses being soft-capped (sadly, not to incarnate content but 1 purple isnt hard to come by).
I decided to slot chronoshift with effeicacy adaptors for the badly needed endurance boost. TIme is anything but endurance light. I figured I had Temporal Mending to heal with so boosting chrono with heal sets wasn't all that important.
Let me know what you think and if you would've (or have) done things differently.
I don't think I added it but I've gone Spiritual Alpha/Void Judgement/Crimerian Lore/Reactive Interface/Clarion Destiny.
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Organ

So I ran some missions in my WM/SD/Nrg today and beaned a Death Priest CoT Boss (even level I think...conned red) for 1600 dmg using Clobber (with bu and aao). It felt...so...good.
-
FYI,
Just got Tier 4 Spiritual for my Time/Ice/Soul and, incarnates be damned, it's still not perma. -
Well, I dinged 50 and IO'd my Time/Ice/Soul. With Hasten Perma and Chrono up he's sitting @241% recharge. Even with this amount Chrono isn't perma
. It'll be real nice when it gets lowered to 6 min recharge like our corruptor brethren.
-
If you do decide to go TIME, then please consider taking the SOUL MASTERY pool w/Ghost Widow. You get a nice res shield, power boost (recharges in 120s as opposed to PBU 240), Opressive Gloom (you'll likely be in melee range anyway) and yes, SOUL DRAIN. It might be the best of any Epic avail to TIME IMHO.
-
My vote goes to Ice/Time. Good synergy with the slows and a great teamer. Damage will be near non-existant but that's what teammates are for.
-
I'm thinking about getting out while the getting is good.
With the recent nerfing to AE farms I suspect that most farmers will return to their old stand-bys (i.e. Lib TV, Snake, Demon and Cim wall maps). This could result in an increase in supply for various purple recipes and perhaps lower their cost a touch. Their at an all time high now and I'm seriously thinking about crafting and selling my stock right nao.
What say you Marketeers? -
Dearest Television,
I'm deeply regret leaving you in favor of AE those many months ago. It's not that I ever loved AE mind you, it's just that she was new and beautiful. Ok, maybe the wealth of AE tickets she provided had something to do with it but baby, you were always the one for me. It never mattered to me that other players would shell out 25 mpr for 5 minutes to play in her missions! I swear! It's only now that I can see that she was bad for me baby. You're the one I really love. Please, I beg of you, take me back and I'll never play with her again*.
xoxo,

You're a Titan @level 8 with Seeds of Confusion. You can now pull any PuG through the low level TFs pretty much by yourself. When you hit level 16 you get Freezing Rain and ascend to the ranks of godhood and it just keeps getting better from there. Later, you'll gain access to Tornado, Lighting Storm, Creepers and Audrey and everything is pretty much GG at that point.
