As long as the 2nd account is a free account at the time no it is fine. When I bought it the last sale I was forced to make a new account, under my main ncsoft account, for the starter. You won't have any trouble with upgrading said account.

All enhancements work in said power as long as your high enough for the power. aka the first one
It was a big thing when I found out. Basicly enhancement slot lvls and what lvl the stuff is in it doesn't matter other then global and set bonuses.
Good to know when using SO and Generic IO. -
Other then the Aura stealths, which as said before arn't full stealth, people don't run with them on all the time. I can say that for my dark armor characters that SI is far better on end. And SI is for stealthing what about that do you not get. Either stealth to a boss you have to kill, avoid aggroing till your ready, or like I did a travel power. Mine is Illusion/Kinetics and as soon as I got SI I could travel without being seen and could stealth TF/SF before anyone else. You get SI at a low lvl so it makes me think it was to help you with how back in the day it was dangerous to get from point A to point B. Many people would take hover just so they were safe low level and take forever to get where they needed to be. Illusion is a old set of course it could get some refinement but complaining about a set that is really easy on end use. Summon pets then do what you want till you need to summon them again. Oh for reference I started playing the game with the release of City of Villians. The game has gotten way way way easier since then and endurance management was a big thing you were supposed to have to deal with.
PS:SI is the best stealth power out there and it is by far better then all the other self stealths endurance wise.
And why do you like to spam post after post after post in a row? -
Bot/FF=shut brain off and cruise control. Though I can offset that.
Ninja/TA=So pain in the butt and on crack thought it meshes real well.
Illusion/Kinetics=Should be able to cruise control but I am addicted to speed with it, Must spam powers as fast as can and must keep siphon speed atleast stacked 3 times.
Nothing is boring, other then my bot/ff cause that is his name, you all just arn't made for the AT or powerset. -
You have to realize the reason Laptop sales have been up. People need to have one, that doesn't that mean they don't also have a desktop. If you are in school or lots of jobs you have to have a laptop now. Most people I know have a laptop but own a desktop, in fact most of said people own 2 or 3 desktops and some even have server racks. Oh did I forget to mention that most people I know work with computers on a daily basis. 2 are computer repair techs, another a programer and a over worked does everything computer guru and me I own 3 computers. My main, my secondary/data server, and my older computer which is now missing some parts namely the hard drive, stole it and put it in second computer. When I get a chance, aka when I start school, I will build another computer and get a laptop.
One of these days I want to build a computer that is 2 computers in 1 case so I can lanparty with myself, yes lanparties are dieing but it would be fun and cool or I can Dualbox hehe. -
Looks good. Though I am really interested on how you like the new Corsair self contained Cpu coolers. My friend has one too. Aka can you review it, please?
For my computer I went with Corsairs series of PSU's. I find them great. But cooler master does seem to be more quiet. And I want one of those cases sooo bad. -

My computer used to be on a huge heavy old desk that looked like it was from a bank. I had my computer, mini tv, xbox, huge old CRT monitor on it and my data server hidden on the side. I will have to find a picture of it. Right now all my stuff is in storage. -
Actually why don't they put a door in a hero zone say in Talos or something. There is probably code reasons why the did it in ouro. Or put it in Pocket D?
Oh and recoding Ouro would be a nightmare. They have said it also more then once on Ustream that it is a dirty hack+changing alinements is a dirty hack too.
Oh that would be kind of fun if they put the door somewhere as a easter egg. -

Please stop and that is for everyone and get back to the original topic.
On a side note that kind of pertains to the issue. Get a good router and a good ISP. Your computer can be crazy good but if you ISP sucks you ain't going to be playing much. The reason I bring up routers cause if you make a home set up like a lot of us do a low end router can hold you back or even worse crap out in a few months.
Oh how well does CoH run on Linux? And is anyone able to run on Mac anymore since the got rid of the support for it. -
Touch screen is not better then a mouse and keyboard you fail on the capabilities of the tech man. Touch screens can't pinpoint as accurate as a mouse aka less precise, go out of calibration alot, damage easily, require more cleaning, more expensive, and you would have to have a huge screen to say play a RTS. Oh and most games don't even need a mouse. Space and flight use joysticks, FPS use a mouse, and almost everything else you can just use a keyboard. The best thing for a touch screen laptop is for note taking and that is debatable, since some people can type faster then write legibly.
I am not saying that those touch screen monitors are a bad idea. But you will use the touch part very little.
Now I am trying to imagine someone multiboxing using a touch screen monitor. That would be funny to watch. -

You have to understand one thing about Windows 7 it was a rush job to replace Vista, aka fix Vista. When the said they were making Windows 7 that they would start working on the Windows 8. In fact they have alluded to releasing the next versions of Windows faster. Windows 7 was a fixed version of Vista, in lamens terms, released to get us by till the next Windows version.
Um about having more ram then 16GB. Yes that point is valid but you won't need it for awhile by that time your going to be doing a lot of upgrading though buying a board that can handle more ram is a good idea but to get say 32GB of ram right of the bat is a bit extreme. Oh and if you buy a retail copy of Window it comes with both 32 and 64bit copies of Windows. Where did you get the idea I wasn't running a 64 bit OS on my computer. And if your going to upgrade from Home Premium go Ultimate. Pro is not a upgrade of Home Premium it is a different version and doesn't have some of the capabilities of Home Premium but does have some of its own features. Ultimate is Home Premium+Pro+Some extra stuff, and it uses a lot more resources. -
Another suggestion that people can over look. Operating Systems. They can get expensive. If your going Windows 7 you only need home premium. And it is a very very good idea to get the retail version, yes it is more expensive. But it isn't tied to your computer. With OEM copies if you upgrade your machine you can run into issues of not being able to use your copy anymore. Retail is tied to you and the cd key and you have a disc, not the crap OEM disc but a full copy of the OS. And right now I would lean to buy Windows 7 and not get Windows 8 alot of negative reports of Windows 8 so far.
And on the comments of using a old computer. Dude you built a top of the line old computer that does not count. 1 for the fact is it is future proof. 2 cause you blew lots of money for the best back in the day, and now your getting some benefits from it though from experience that extreme amount of extra money doesn't help. Your best bet is to buy parts that are "Future Proof" aka a computer that can be upgraded easily and well. If you going to run 2 instances of Ultra mode at max your going to need some good stuff but you don't have to have a top of the line rig. You could even build a year old machine, which if you buy stuff that is upgradeable would be a good idea cause it will save you money.
Oh and I build computers and have built every computer I own. Though I am not as good as my friend, he is a A+ certified tech and has worked in the field alot. Best help you can do is research the part and manufacture of a part before you buy it, it will save you a huge headache. -
That is not true. Depends on when he did some of the stuff. I still have bases that have doors messed with.

I think you are confusing things.
If being "invisible" was supposed to make Supremacy turn off, any amount of stealth would. Stealth is simply a value.
However, the Concealment power [Invisibility] contains the line "OnlyAffectsSelf" - that cancels Supremacy.
At least I was noticing this a very long time ago. I just haven't tested it out for very long. -
Also it hasn't been said before. You lose Supremacy if you go invisible. If you just stealth it is fine but if they can't see you, aka invisible, they lose it too. With with the stealth IOs becareful not to just put it in something like Super Speed cause if you ever activate it you loose Supremacy that is why I put my stealth IO in something like Sprint.
It is also helpful to edit your attack macro and take out aggressive and make sure follow macro has defensive in it. That way you don't go into aggressive, for the most part you really don't need to be in it. -

Sorry but I have seen way to many shows get pulled early and most of the time without giving any hint about it earlier. So at least the writers can get a decent ending in. Or at least let them finish the last few episodes that are the ending. Hello Starship Troopers Roughneck Chronicles, grrrr. The stations don't care about the shows all they care about the money. And when you don't care about a show it is hard to make good choices about it. -
Okay I like SGU. Each of the SG series had its merits. No show is perfect.
Hey if you want me to sound weird. I also liked star trek enterprise. It was okay. And was getting good before it too got canceled but the whole reason that happened cause it was screwed from the beginning. And if memory serves me right what happened after enterprise was canceled oh the star trek franchise is basically dead. It was scaring the crap out of me to see SGU ending like enterprise. Lets hope it ends with a great ending or is enough to spawn another run. -

Good news about the purple patch. If you get your lvl shift your pets con 1 lvl higher.
It was such a huge relief when test proved that it works on our pets too.

Yeah the AoE immobilize from electric. I sloted the going rogue preorder Knock down proc in it. Oh it was so great. Every time did it in a mob at least 1 got KD and then when they tried to get up jolting chain then they want to get up AoE. I may not being doing much damage but neither are they. Soooo much fun. Though I hear catdrops with the proc in it is sooo funny.

Remember the time frame you are talking about. First of all back then there were no Safegaurd or Mayhem missions so no temp travel powers to assist (and obviously no Ninja run ..hadn't been dreamed up yet). Player RAN from one mission to another until level 14 when they could finally take a permanent Travel power. Back then also we had the "OLD" Positron TF that was way more than twice as long as doing Posi One or Posi Two and the missions took you to just about every zone in the city.. You may have started in Steel but you would hit Skyway, Atlas, Perez Park and on and one. It was a real torture test and could take as much as five hours. Even the higher level TFs took longer then because no one had an Ouroborus Portal and no one had the Vet reward "Mission Teleporter" yet either. Now keep in mind that back then if a 48 level joined a Positron he or she got no XP, didn't keep up to 5 powers above the TF limit so unless they got it in before hitting 15, or were a serious badge hunter, most people skipped it completely.
The Hollows is almost a ghost zone now with very few people going there to run missions but in 2005 it was the one zone with contacts that actually let you run missions in the SAME zone as the actual contact. Once again saving some time as opposed to the contacts in KR and Steel that would take great delight in watching an 11 level run all the way to the train station, complete a mission in Atlas, run all the way back and then .. get a mission in ATLAS again !
People balk at the Doc Q mission these days and people complete it in 4 hours sometimes less. When it first came out some teams took as long as 7 hours to complete and would break the thing up between 2 days... This same thing frequently occurred with the Old Positron.
Back then there was no such thing as a Hospital and a Combat Nurse in Hazard zones so IF you were doing missions in the Hollows and died... You rezzed in either Skyway or Atlas Park's Hospital (depending on which entrance you came through) You had to RUN all the way back to the gate and then to the mission and heaven help you if you stopped to resupply your inspirations. I did that once on a long mission against the Trolls. I was almost finished when I died and had no choice but to Hosp. I stopped at City Hall and bought new INSP and when i got back to the mission .. it had reset like I hadn't done a thing. When I asked about that in chat I was informed i'd been out of zone and awy to long so the mission restarted.. Anyone have THAT happen to them recently?
Okay so maybe its not that big an issue these days but there were time back then when sitting inside a mission without fear of being logged off was about the only way you could take a break, grab a snack or take a BIO before continuing to slowly level.
Now as the Grumpy Old Man says "All you kids get off my lawn and leave me alone!" LOL
Oh and I really really miss old Hollows, now rezing in another zone that is a different issue, it was supposed to be hazardous well now it is a joke. Also no point to go there for the most part. Come to think of it wonder how many people can do the Trial there now days.
What was even more sad when SSK went into affect there was no point in me keeping my old Frostfire mission. I would keep it and then join a lowbie team just so they could get a experience of a fun mission. Yep now when we go to do it hey look I am 50 and there lvl 15 umm. Sneezes and wipes the whole room.
