Question about Preatorian toon

Ok just touched on this in help chat wondering if its possible.

Create a toon in Preatoria run it 1-50 (by exemplaring the last 20 levels.)
Now if you have another 50 Blue/Red that has A-merits they could buy an alpha slot.
Preatorian toon should be able now to unlock alpha.
Would the Preatorian toon be able to run itrials in PocketD?

Because if so they you could have a fully incarnate toon without ever leaving Preatoria.

is this possible?

Possible...I think...but that 30-50 stretch would be a bear. Technically you can run iTrials from Praetoria...nothing stops you from getting into the LFG queue from there I don't believe.

I think it's less about physical location and more about remaining 'alignment locked' as a praetorian, IE Resistance or Loyalist.

Yeah, I suppose it's possible. Just would take quite a while. Though they've kind of hinted there'll be some more content past first ward, so, hopefully!

By the way, you do not need the alpha unlocked in order to run the trials.

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.

Couldn't you also just spend astral merits to mail yourself an unlock token, too?

Don't they also have AE in Praetoria?

You know, a 30-50 set of AE arcs for Praetorians who refuse to go Primal would be an interesting experiment.

Last I checked they *don't* have an AE in Praetoria. That may have changed, though.

Yeah maybe I'm just (mis?)remembering some civilian chatter about AE overheard in Praetoria.

No AE in Praetoria, so after you finish First Ward, yeah, it's mandatory exemping, but as far as I know, it should still be possible to Incarnate if you can bear with it that far.

Can Praetorians get to Ouroboros? I didn't think they were able to.

They can. There is no difference in your character really after you lvl to 20 and move out of preatoria.

Let me rephrase: Can Praetorians that have not moved to Prime Earth enter Ouroboros? That is, characters that are still loyalist or resistance. It's possible to get to 30 without ever becoming a hero or villain.

Why would they need to go to Ouroboros to use an unlock token that a Primal hero had purchased with Astral Merits?

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Because I wasn't thinking about the question properly

Though it does mean, if they can't, that Merits are useless to them and they would have to rely solely on salvage drops

If they manage to earn Astral/Emp merits they'd have to spend them through the Incarnate Powers tab. You could still convert them into iSalvage for powers. I'm not sure I would really classify that as useless.
