2nd Account under my Master Account using $0.99 starter kit

I'd like to create a new account that I can access and manage under my already existing master account. I'm pretty sure I understand how to do this (log in, acquire a game code, enter it in, and make sure I opt to create a new account instead of upgrade or apply to my existing account), but I'd like to know if I can use the $0.99 VIP starter kit code for this, or will my existing VIP account mess it up somehow?

Eh, I figured it was only .99, so I just went and did it. It works.

As long as the 2nd account is a free account at the time no it is fine. When I bought it the last sale I was forced to make a new account, under my main ncsoft account, for the starter. You won't have any trouble with upgrading said account.

I just did it to check. Log into your Master Account and create a new free account, then buy the kit. you'll be asked to apply the code, and then you get to select which account to apply it to. You'll only have one option if you only created 1 free account. Once you click the account to apply the code to you get asked to set up the CC payment which you can immediately cancel if you don't want to be charged and drop back to premium.
