On Virtue there's also Posthaste's raids on the first Sunday of every month from 6-9 pm Eastern (typically 3 runs).

Quote:If it's client-side shouldn't I see it on every server? I didn't see anything odd on Virtue. This was all on Exalted. And everyone present was seeing the same thing.Client specific, I'm sure. I think I've seen this once before where the patch was misapplied on a large scale and caused visual bugs like this. The fix back then was force the launcher to do a repair.
And yeah, Defiant got the shaft big time. -
Server specific. Definitely not client specific. All of Atlas was like that.

That kind of thing.
Oh, and the hellions were packing rikti rifles. -
I've always told it no and gotten the warning about how it's going to set my computer on fire or whatever. Never had a problem playing the game. It seems pointless to me.

I'm going off of memory here, so I may not have all the details correct. If you're really interested you can open a saved costume file and count it out yourself.
There is 36 possible attachment points for the character creator.
A normal costume uses 30 of them, plus one additional point each for tail, wings, cape, or backpack.
So with 34 attachment points used the last two have become rather precious at Paragon Studios. Adding new attachment points is, to my understanding, non-trivial. On par with writing a new costume creator from scratch. I'm guessing that they're going to hoard those last two spots.
Anyway, I'm not opposed to having seperate neck items. But I'm doubtful we'll see the last attachment points used unless they think they can create a large number of items to be placed there. -

Quote:You're going nowhere. This is true for every hat in the game. Anyone who expected the CoT hat to be the one exception out of the entire creator was badly deluding themselves. If they had gone with this excuse it would have been even worse than Positron's already lame "no clipping" attempt.Ahh, but then you get into the whole issue of people will begin complaining I want such and such hair.. and why are you forcing me to wear this hair when the only thing I want is this hat.. blah ...blah...blah rinse and repeat. Not saying that this isn't a good idea. But you can see where i'm going with this.

Kudos to the marketing team though. Not a single character in that trailer was wearing a costume that could be dupilcated by free players. Every one of them included items that needed to be paid for, and most of them were entirely composed of such pieces.

Quote:It's not the inability to find specific ATs. It's the categories themselves. Many Brutes do not tank. Why are Corruptors ranged and not support? Dominators are support despite not having any buffs? Why? MMs were designed to be the redside Tanker counterpart, going to put them under tanks?Exactly HOW is this more confusing? It seems rather simple to navigate. It would be the same as before which ATs keeping their own subforums like they have now, just be divided into categories.
It (intentionally or not) creates an official playstyle for each AT. Considering how very open ended in playstyle each AT can be, this is a very bad thing. -
Also suprised the Thorn Blade for broadsword isn't included. I know it's unlockable in game with the Soul Binder badge, but, well, that doesn't stop Paragon Studios from selling the Vanguard Pack.

No Pope hats?

Quote:It keeps them out of the rest of the forum, much like the old pwnz section. It's going to happen whether Paragon Studios wants it to or not, keeping the post padding in one location makes everything easier.Eliminate this from For Fun!:
- Forum Games
Removing it would likely make the forums more cluttered, not less. -
Quote:Yes.Here's my suggestion:
DO NOT MERGE THE ARCHETYPE FORUMS.
I'm sorry, but your pigeonholing archetypes and merging these forums together will just create an unreadable mess where we, as forum posters and readers, CANNOT find the information we're looking for.
Seriously. "I'm playing a Dominator. I should look for the Dominator forum" is not a hard thing to grasp.
Trying to divide by playstyle isn't going to work. The game is simply too broad for that. Your own examples show this, Zwill.
Brutes are tanks not melee dps? Guess those SS/FA builds are all wrong, for example. Clearly they aren't playing the game "correctly."
Corruptors are ranged damage? Why not support?
Similarly why aren't MMs damage focused? Heck, MMs are the original villain "tank" equivalent. Why aren't they listed under tanks?
And even you can't figure out the best place for dominators.
There is no way this can be done without creating the impression of an official "this is how you should be playing" for each AT. -

Not really lore.
That was a Paragon Studios fan fic. -
It's been almost 3 years since PvP and bases were worked on. And even then PvP was made far, far worse while the base changes were so bad they didn't even make it to Beta.
At this point I think Paragon Studios wishes they had never been added to the game in the first place. I'd love to see either of them get some attention, but it's just not going to happen. They've been written off and won't be revisited. -

Quote:Most likely user error. Of someone filling out the 2000 US census form.Possibly a bug, or possibly a quirk of how they datamined the names way back when.
My understanding is that for the generic NPCs you see walking around they just stripped first names from the 2000 census. So every time you see a weird spelling or unusual name it's a name someone in the US claimed to have. -

Is Dr. Brainstorm and his Resonance Manipulator still canon or did that go die in a fire like it should have?
