You login and realize that all your inf is gone? Not just you, but cross server wide. Everyone begins anew.

I remember people thought I was crazy spending 50-60 mill on my melee,range, and PBAOE sets. Have to admit I thought I was too. Now, just repec'd them out of one of my unused toons and one IO sold for what I paid for a whole set.

Just a wish that I could as Superleader do a cross server SG move. Recently switched servers and left my solo 16mill BatCave behind for a 400k basement in Grandma's house.

Some advice:

Right down all the needed AVs on your BIO page and delete them as you arrest them. Also Anti-Matter in Tina's Arc is a long series of missions, so give yourself some time on that one.

Leveling up it was the carrot of ET waiting at 35 that kept you playing the set despite it's low damage and high end use; the new animation means that on a team you're usually firing it off on something that dies before the anim finishes... remember that lots of Blasters tend to target thru the tanker and their attacks fire off faster.

I tried the set post-nerf... I brought it out for a couple of ITF's and other missions. Frankly, based on that experience I'd rather have had any other secondary other than EM. After those trials the character got shelved and probably won't be played again until the set changes. One thing playing since issue 3 has taught me is that things go in cycles of nerf/buff/nerf/buff; so I have some hope of future changes making the set fun again.

SoW's recharge is non-enhanceable. 300s Recharge is fixed.

Hello you crazy melee types. This is my first foray into Scrapperdom. Never understood why people chose to play Scrappers till now. Been alot of fun leveling and getting up close to the action.

Double XP really can't compare to AE Farms anyway. It'll be the same weekend AE crowd.

Bad part is that you can't buy Booster packs from their retail partners, nor can you buy them via Character Select Screen.

The real question would be "why wouldn't Double XP apply to AE?". If AE truly is a alternative to regular game content then those alternative players would feel targeted for using a system for its intended purpose.

No one here is stupid and I can imagine the madness that will be double XP + AE, but what kind of message will be sent?

The City of Heroes website Store is down (4days now) so that's not a option. You can still login to your account and add/change a debit card(Visa/MC logo) do what you need to do and canx it after.

Worked fine for me on Monday when I bought more server toon slots, and Tuesday afternoon when I bought the mission slots. Are you and your coworker connecting from the workplace? What if you try it from home? On different machines?

The problem is that once you buy something either via paypal or Visa, it won't go thru. I've seen it in the past, but usually there is a announcement. It's been erroring out for the past few days now.

I never implied that PI was free of Farms and Farm requests. The need for INF for those shiny IOs broke that bottle open.
I'm also not trying to defend MA and its ease of making Farms more accessible to anyone just logging in. The old Demon/Family farmers did have to keep a certain awareness of who they let into their farms due to the once its gone its gone.

I remember one time I logged into each servers PI just to see how each server's zone was and some PI's broadcast basically looked like a Auction Channel. My home server for the 5 years I was on it, never came close to the level I saw on some of the others.

My coworker bought the game off Steam recently and he's lvl 33 after maybe 6hours game time. He said he got invited to AE team after he hit lvl 4 and asked me was that normal for this MMO. He gained levels so fast he thought it was a exploit and was worried his toon would get deleted. I had to tell him that's the current state of game.

I'm not going to say MA is ruining the game or players, but you would have to deaf,dumb, and blind to not recognize that AE Custom Farms makes farming Wolves, Dead Scanner, or Kraken look like Street Sweeping.

I know that there isn't an urgency yet since Super Booster III hasn't been released yet, but it appears that me and my friend are the only two people having problems.

Just my two cents.

A new player getting to PI or even knowing where PI is was not that common, most lowbies spamming PI either had friends that introduced them to PI or alts.

Usually the spammers did the Broadcasts caught alot of grief and either left the Zone in shame or got everyone's Global Ignore.

The Farm mechanics were different, there were SK rules to follow and just being on the team was not a factor as it is in AE. Most lowbies were just exploited as fillers. Stay in your zone and hunt or grouped just to spawn the map.

I'm not going to say that AE is Doom for the game, cause what it did do was provide a Central Hub (Atlas Park) for toons of all levels to join missions and not worry about lack of SKs which on the low pop servers comes in handy.

Personally I still think it's a business decision. AE spawned a lot of 50s in a short time and now people are trying other ATs faster since there isn't that chore of grinding/leveling.

Finally got them precious SOs! Had a faultline mission and had to do a Global Help cause I couldn't find the door. I had no idea that Faultline was revamped to that level of underground passages beneath the blue wall. Met a few running mates who are doing the same thing I am, I am soo tempted though to get a travel power. The travel times are starting to feel a lil WoW'ish at times.

Just tried again 24hrs lata still unable to get into the WWW store. Tried different ISPs and a proxy server, still down on the billing side. The NCSOFT store carries AION, Guild Wars, Lineage games also, thought there would be a post somewhere.
