Quote:Have to agree. I'm in CA (and excited for Comic Con more now that CoH will have a bigger presence there than last year, it seems), but originally from the Midwest. I recommend hitting Indy for GenCon, since the Chicago Comic Expo is already over. Unless there's another comic or sci-fi expo in he Midwest of which I'm not aware?California, California, Washington, Massachusetts. Let's try the middle 90% of the country for a change. Personally, I'd like it to be somewhere in the Midwest. Perhaps GenCon in Indianapolis or something in Chicago? I could also see something in Dallas or Denver as a chance for some new people to have a shot at attending.

Whether in full-screen or windowed mode, one can run multiple instances (if your machine can handle it). Yes, just run a 2nd instance of the updater and launch the second instance just like the 1st.

Heck, I learned something new today too... and I'm from SoCal

Rumor has it that there's already something for new GA fx in the game files. Probably due for GR if I had to put money on it.

Reminds me of the Art Institute of Chicago
What the team should do (if the in-game pieces are constructed right) is allow us access to the armor sets used in the Midnighter Club -

For me, personally, although I've kept my sub up and running (despite second thoughts about doing so until GR), I've adapted a "wait and see" approach until the launch of GR. I'm a guy who likes content, so that's what I'm waiting for.
Granted, my lack of actual play time has been compounded by my full-time job and 3/4-time college.
I'll admit there has been some slight canon content in the last fwe patches, but only what is the equivalent of a few story arcs per side (TFs are just one story arc for a set amount of players). Between there last few issues, there's enough now to keep me interested in GR. Power Customization and the MA were big systems that took a lot of time to put in. I'm glad they were put in, but the lack of any canon content that coincided with their developments didn't keep me entertained. I feel kind of bad after telling Brian Clayton the Power Customization was what I really wanted in CoH, and then losing interest when the content dried up
That being said, the economy certainly has been hitting a lot of people in the figurative groin, and not in a funny blooper reel way. My company finally got walloped with layoffs this week, so I'm just thankful to still be employed, unlike some of my colleagues and friends.
That sort of thing can definitely put a hamper on disposable income, including MMO subs.
I've got great hopes for GR, but I just hope other RL issues get sorted so that those who worry about funds can hope back in the game as time and money permit. -
Quote:I'll buy that for a buck.I would love to be able to:
- Set seperate permissions per room as we do storage containers
- Save entire bases to my hard drive for fast restoration if something gets messed up. But I think only the Superleader should have this ability...otherwise base layouts coupld be swiped
- Save individual room contact layouts to hard drive would also be a great feature.
The truth is, there are a LOT of awesome ideas out here...the problem is there isn't any chance of them coming into being if the developers ignore us...and that's what this whole thread is about.
And to echo Ironblade, if a base update included personal apartments, I too could easily see a whole issue geared around them. IoP raids would be icing (especially since PvP was overhauled in part due to base raids. Time to come full circle devs).

Nope, I've never seen that option before. In fact, trim inside of doorways has never been supported, to the ire of many architects since it breaks up the uniformity of design. Interesting...

I just want to know what the OP's question was...

Actually, if you want to bet that the new email attachment system and the market aren't tied together... well, I'd be betting against you.
In any case, IBTL. -
Quote:Day Two: Still nothing more than a "we'll get to it" response from the GMs.
Outside the room, I can hear people talking, but I'm not sure what they say. It's a foreign language of some kind. I can make out some words here and there, lies, half-truths, unformed sounds that make your brain itch... arcane syllables that can take such a simple concept as "just roll back my toon to Saturday, that should make things all better" and twist it into something complex and muddled, ensconced in strange geometries and forbidden lore.
As I peer through the crack, something shambles about, slow and ponderous as if the very air about it stagnates into a slow-moving viscous-like liquid that must detached step by step. It's as though time itself slows to nearly a halt about this massive mastodon-like entity; even the very light flickering as it fights to escape the clutches of this living singularity incarnate.
Then I realize who has my infamy captive...

The Drama Llama Seal of Approval™.
Congratulations.
Now patiently wait for the market to return just like every other player in the game, your grace. -
Quote:May I make an Open Source suggestion?Hurm. Any chance of allowing other formats like PNG, TIFF, or BMP? My non-thousand dollar editor of choice (Acorn for OS X) doesn't support PSD or TGA.
Thanks!
Looking forward to seeing what people come up with!

Th FSAA option is now near the top of the Graphics options. Make sure it's set to at least 2x.

If I am a winner, I permit NC Interactive, Inc. and NCsoft Europe Limited to use my name, likeness, photograph, hometown, and any comments that I may make about myself or this contest that I provide for advertising and promotional activities. I also certify that I am at least 13 years of age and am eligible to participate in this contest.
When asked if he could create the mounting, dismounting, and attack animations for every power in the game while riding the Nemesis Steam Horse so that players could use the model as a travel power, Chris "Back Alley Brawler" Bruce's head exploded. A memorial service will be held next week. -
So on the 7th, Triumph just needs to keep on doing what we normally do

I can run the game just fine on minimum settings on my aging work laptop with an nVidia Quadro NVS110M with a driver from 2008 (the last one published by Dell, the nVidia generics can't install). Client works for me just like it did before Wednesday. YMMV, apparently.

I have a veteran SG. It currently has three(?) part-time players
Congrats FF. -
But what about the rest of your PC? Does the mobo support PCI-E 2.0? Did you buy the GPU with the rig or upgrade to it after the fact?

Too bad they can't have the numbers use the same chat font size option. That would be novel

I have a lot of memories from this game, from my wife hitting level 50 (she actually got there before I did, as she was a full-time student at the time), fighting The Honoree, the first time I saw a Kronos Titan (Look at the size of that thing...), skiing at the chalet... I could go on and on.
Certainly, however, the memory that sticks out the most was the first Hero Con. Not only just being there and seeing so many fellow players (like Killbot5000, Samurai_Ko, TheFrog, Texas_Justice, Nuclear Toast, and many others), but also being lucky enough to have a good team for the first ever Live Mission. With a team number like 13, we didn't think we'd win, but we didI've still got that Killer Necklace hanging up on the wall, along with some nice peripherals that were won at other contests. Hanging out with Sexy Jay and Ex Libris, like the previous year with the M&G at Milpitas, was just a bonus
The supergroup sort of declined after that, but I17 gives me hopes that this old piano of a game still has some play in it. And on that note, queue the music and shake a tail feather.
Here's to you CoH -
Fair enough. GJ!

The second if you brighten up the images inside the letters, but yes, you'll need to get the image size down to 600 x 150 for to use as a signature.
