The toxic DoT from /Thorns might not work well with Static Field from Elec/. You might want to go with the classic; Plant/Thorns. Just toss out Seeds of Confusion and wade in spamming Thorn attacks.

Quote:My Dark/Dark Martial Artist has a magical paintbrush that lets her conjure and control magical paint, including using it to create creatures made out of paint.Personally I've played up to the fact it's a dog:
My Dark/Dark has made a pact with a blood demon through her crown. The dog and the shades are creatures made from blood. The shades are haemogoblins and the dog is a literal bloodhound.
My Dark/Ice, on the other hand, is a mutant who manipulates spirits of the deceased. The shades are simply primal spirits whilst the dog is actually the spirit of his pet dog. -
As I recall, Synapse said that if you summon a pseudopet like a tornado outside of the phase it will saty phased to the enemy; but if you summon it inside the Dimension Shift zone and hop out the tornado will stay in the same phase as the enemy while you will be safe outside.

Quote:"Monsters, John! Monsters from the Id!" - Forbidden PlanetTo me, the umbral is too much an individual, or too much of a real creature to deny that it is an independent entity. For the Haunts, or for Jack Frost or Singy or even Fire Imps, it is easy to view them as a chaotic unconscious manifestation of my psyche. That alllows me to accept them on mutant or science characters.
But the Umbral Beast barks, hangs out, and interacts too much. I cant pretend it is a manifestation of Will.
Just say it's some nasty aspect of your subconscious or a dream image given the ability to impose itself on the external world. -
For the heroside SSA 2, having Manticore go full on Vigilante would fit the character. He's already leaning that way with Wyvern; he could start gathering more ruthlessly inclined heroes to his side of things and create a Vigilante-aligned faction with the power to be genuinely dangerous to Arachnos. They could even borrow the Morality Mission mechanic, and give you a Moral Choice at the end of each episode of whether or not to help him (Vigilante) or try to stop him (Hero).

Yes, and yes; at least once the colors stayed put (although one of the recent patches apparently rest a lot of the colors and I've been re-adding them). I have a system where the channels have easily distinguishable colors and are always in either the top or bottom window. Virtue United up top & gold, Justice for All on the bottom and gold, etc.

The main problems I can see with a /Regen is all the Psi users in Praetoria flooring your recharge, and Praetorian Clockwork having a fair amount of -regen. That said, I've gotten a Kin/Regen all the way through Praetoria. She had Hasten and the Winter's Gift unique to help with the -recharge, though.

A Leader AT, complement to the Mastermind AT. They'd have modified versions of the MM pets; the pets would do less damage and more support. The Leader Primary would consist of henchmen summoning and basic armor powers, the Leader Secondary would be a melee attack set. The Inherent would be sort of a combination of an inverted MM Supremacy and Tanker Gauntlet; being near your pets boosts your attacks and defenses, while attacking the enemy draws aggro to you and away from the pets. The idea being that you have a pet control character who leads from the front; you attack, and the pets support you.

I laughed out loud today when just as I entered a mission, a Beast Mastery MM named Little Red Riding Hood exited the same door, surrounded by howling wolves.

So does one of the Ninjitsu defense toggles.

I always take Bonfire for the KB; it helps me deal with enemies that resist my other controls, and is also useful as area denial.
-
As others have said, if it gets me more powersets faster then I'm fine with it. The new system has pretty much justified itself in my eyes; I'm getting more of what I want than I would have under the old.

I've made two so far. Sarah Wild is is BM/Traps and Praetorian, a scavenger that goes out into the Hamidon-devastated wilds and brings back gadgetry and mutated wildlife. Looks kind of like Doc Delilah, but shorter and with a backpack.
And my BM villain is an Evil Shaman Beast/Storm named Wildwrath:
The Imperial Dynasty helmet makes a very nice shamanic headdress, I think. -
Actually, it's not odd at all. MM primaries are unique to them and take extra resources & effort to make; not coincidentally, MMs don't have many primaries. Making it a pay set justifies putting the extra effort into such a niche powerset.

Quote:Except it was stated as an excuse for why Doms weren't getting anything while everyone else was, which does imply something special for them and only them. Otherwise it simply fails as a justification.Dark/Dark qualifies as "something coming for Dominators." They never specified what that "something" was, or was not. They also never said it wouldn't come alongside "something coming for not-Dominators."

Keep in mind that the Umbral Beast is also bugged and stuck in "defensive mode"; damage should go up when the Beta patch goes live and it become more aggressive.

34: Drain his blood and sneak it into the Paragon Blood Bank to be "accidentally" given to one or more people. That's a Superhero Origin Story just begging to happen!
35: Dismantle him and transplant the organs into an entire supergroup called the Statespeople.
36:Turn him into a batch of the very highest quality NutriPaste. -

Shadow Shard.
(You're fighting gods, or fragments thereof. It doesn't get much more Incarnate than that.) -
Quote:New patch on Beta:Could you briefly list or direct me to these changes not on live? I was planning on rolling a grav Dom, but if there's still a lot of weirdness ill hold off for a bit.
Quote:Gravity Control- Dimension Shift now phases allies as well as enemies. Allies are not immobilized by the patch and can freely move out of it to become un-phased. This allows allies to choose whether to phase and attack the phased enemies, or to stay unphased and be protected from the phased enemies.
- Dimension Shift's recharge is now 60 seconds, down from 90 seconds.
- Dimension Shift can now be slotted with ATO sets as well as Immobilize sets.
- Propel now "splashes" knockdown on three additional targets nearby the primary target, within a 15' radius.
- Fixed a graphical error with a streaking particle on Dimension Shift.
