Well, sure. They've got Ouroboros access, after all.

Sounds like a setup for The Emperor's New Shield.

    "I don't see any shield."

"It has an invisibility cloak. Here, let me strap it on."

    "I don't feel anything..."

"Well, that's because it has an antigravity generator, very sophisticated."

I believe so; or rather, it was their attempt at one. Note the "bubbles" around the blasts. It didn't work right so they modified it into an energy blast set.

There's another Arena in Talos, so the Galaxy one is expendable.

I'd still give the edge to Incinerate since as a single target attack you are likely to be using it often against high HP enemies like Bosses and up that you aren't going to be defeating with other powers before the DoT runs out.

Probably they'd make it immune to + recharge effects.
  9. Hmmmm. Here's an idea for a unique power: A very long recharge click power that instantly recharges all your other powers. Or perhaps all of an ally's powers.

Ha, I'm reminded of something I saw posted on another forum when a certain other game went Free to Play. Paraphrased, the guy said "I checked it out and saw that they still didn't have an equivalent of Masterminds. %&$@ that! So I went and fired up my old CoX account instead. Yes, the result of <game name withheld> going Free to Play was me subscribing to CoX again."

    Earth/ what?!

From a functional perspective, Earth/Fire is better I think. The pairing of maximum AoE control with maximum AoE damage. And the -def of /Thorns is rather wasted given how much -def Earth/ already puts out.

Come to think of it, it would be really cool if they had random powersets like the Flawed Clone in the villainside Defeat Ajax mission.

Some kind of Devouring Earth infestation possibly. Or they went to Ravenholm. There's a reason no one goes to Ravenholm anymore...

  22. Hmmm, Lazarillo in the Defenders thread on Time Manipulation speculated that one power might be a de-level shift ability that temporarily lowers the level of the enemy. Temporally rewinding them to an earlier level, as it were.

No, no, it's succubi that do that. They are the natural predators of tentacle monsters. If you ever find a bunch of withered, sucked dry tentacles lying scattered around beware; you're in succubi territory.
  24. With nothing beyond the name there's little to go on.

    I like that idea.
