call me a noob but I have been using an elec/thermal, and unfortunately they can still pop blues or hibernate and then finish the arsewhoopin they started, just don't have the hp or resists to slow down the destruction.
I guess if they've stopped carrying breakfrees a hold might work, if you are a dom. Other holds are a waste of the casting time. I don't even like doms but if I thought I could build one that would consistently beat blasters I would lol. -
Could have potentially been one of the coolest powers in the game, completely shunned due to this kind of silly side effect.
I say time to get rid of it! -
What's the rock to the blaster's scissors? I mean villain builds, in pvp zones, and preferably not a stalker.

Might seem like an odd way to decide on what to pick, but my choices are thugs, mercs, and bots, and I would rather not knock stuff around constantly (without skipping certain pets or upgrades).

repair is garbage, slot O2 boost as it's as good a heal as you will get.

I agree, make powers work how they are supposed to.
PvP works better as a way to see who's overpowered than PvE, because you'll get a lot more feedback from people who want a balanced game.
I know that part of why they completely screwed PvP powers is maybe to avoid any accountability of overpoweredness in the game, but that's really not a policy that's respectful to your subscribers.
I like how mag was removed, I like how self-affecting toggles suppress instead of drop, and I like travel power suppression, these were all very good pvp changes.
But making the powers work in odd, diminished, and confusing ways when in a pvp zone just doesn't make sense. -
IMO the fact that they don't know what's causing it makes it a critical bug, come on now. Can't even see what auras look like because of this.
I swear I imagine their offices being a bunch of floppy disks strewn all over the floor with magic marker labels. -
I would assume for corruptors you either go for recharge or ranged defense, whatever compliments your powersets best.
Most other set bonuses aren't that great really. -
um perez and sewers are really low level, that's why.
and just because 5% of players above 20 are still doing regular missions doesn't mean it's not as good as dead. It doesn't have to hit 0%. No mmo has been shut down with 0 players logged in having fun. -
kills all have been a bad idea even before MA.

my main goal in creating the character wasn't to drain. And I wouldn't use tb and emp at the same time, tb and sc can drain a whole bar themselves.
Not a fan of kin either. Like I said it's not my main priority, just seeing what I can do with the powersets I've already chosen. -
oh does the end drain on self increase with additional targets?

I figured I could use it to drain them and then just keep them locked down with regular elec attacks.
the -recov lasts for 20 seconds, same as your own, assuming they don't have blues to burn, and you drained them to 0 (start with short circuit first if necessary) then they can't do much in response.
If facing multiple, you could use 2 powers to drain all of them completely, which I would think could turn the tide of a battle.
If my logic fails at some point, let me know I don't have much experience with end drain.
btw, I almost took thermal, but I just can't stand every other power but heat exhaution, went with /rad instead. -
it needs to be considered one of the best if not the best primary. what's the point of bringing out these new sets if it's hard to justify rolling them?

72% when slotted how I like. If I can ever afford the enhancers I want for this build it could be quite fun.
I just wanted to check, mids isn't always correct. -
Ok so if you slotted out tblast for end mod, and fired powerboost then used tblast on another player, how much end would it drain?
I'm theorizing 74% with a chance for about 13% more based on mids, but wondering if that's not the case. -
Forming your own team doesn't work unless it's peak hours and you get very very lucky. Or happen to be in one of the 4 or so SGs that have enough people and theme to support doing non-farms.
People who think that it isn't 95% AE farming now are fricken retards. I'd rather they jump in front of a car then continue to post their iraqi information minister [censored]. -

Any time you give people the ability to rate something, the haters come out of the woodwork and ruin any validity the rating system has. -
Except this game is boring solo, so you kind of rely on other people whether you like it or not.

The jumping away thing is something every AT has to deal with. It's something the devs need to do something about, it's not a problem unique or even exasperated while playing an MM.
However, making pets stay alive after we die would be nice. If the person jumps away, we can use awaken.
That and making the pets stay on a leash while in defensive or passive mode would be nice, while making bodyguard on all the time.
