Quote:If you damage him a little, you'll still get the merits, but you (and/or your team) must cause a certain amount of damage compared to the other teams in order to actually get badge credit. Same goes for other GMs as well.Quote:Yeah, you'll need to be on a team to pass the 10% damage threshhold to get the Badge for the GM defeat. But luckily, you only have to do that once and the other rewards for the GM defeat only require 1 point of damage.

Quote:Hum, Well, THE FUTURE IS NOW!
Try out rocket boots, the recipe unlockable, the jets function when flying.
Also Piston Boots make a puff of dust/smoke when you jump and land with them.
Don't know if those things are fading out of common knowledge lately, or if you wanted very specifically *those* rocket boots.Quote:Uh, you can already get Rocket Boots as a costume piece, that do work with flight powers. They drop as a recipe, check Wentworths.
However, IMO the rocket boots do not fit with my costume at all, and I would much prefer the ability to select the thrust animation coming from the sole of my chosen footware. (Along with several other existing and/or new animations which is my hope for PP customization) -
Is there a prereq to getting the Monstrous badge?
I've got the four Banner badges, and have received both the Merit Rewards and the Rewards Table for defeating the Greater Mystic Aspect several times, however no Monstrous Badge. (And thus no Hell and Back Accolade) -
I really hope those foot jets are an option when the power pools finally get customizations!

I remember that mission, someone foolishly asked to join our duo team for that one.
Load mission, look around and wonder which way to head ... mission failed!
Well that was fun! -

If you do buy GvE however, it comes with a free month of gameplay.
With a 2 second search, I found GvE on Amazon.com for $12.49.
$12.49 - Listed Price
-$14.99 - One month of gametime
- $2.50
-$2.50 is pretty affordable -
Quote:Don't forget your Epic Power Pools, there are usually some very useful powers for blasters including some moderately good armors.Playing around with the build tester, I'm seeing that by lvl 50, I could have all of the energy and electric powers, hover/fly, and stamina (with the 2 prereq powers). Is there something else I should be thinking about getting, such that I should be thinking about which of the ene/elec powers not to take?
For example I took the Electric Mastery pool and while electric armor is nice to have, I absolutely love Shocking bolt ... fully slotted it recharges quite quickly and will easily stun a LT, and with a second application will stun a Boss for a useful duration. -
IIRC they will have a system in place in Going Rogue to further develop LV50 characters without raising the level cap.

For 5 years now they have booked 9AM-11AM EST Monday - Friday for maintenance.
Then they changed the policy to 9AM-11AM EST Monday and Friday with the optional possibility of maintenance happening Tuesday - Thursday.
Nothing has changed.
They added 1 extra hour this week and told us ahead of time.
That is all. -
I'm not trying to belittle the effort, in fact more options is always better than fewer IMO.

Regen, Integration ... no more Tarzan-esque chest pounding and screaming please!

If you purchase the full GvE game code from this very site
$19.99
[u]-14.99[u] - for the included month game time
5.00
That's $5.53 canadian for 2 powers and 2 costume pieces. Is it worth it? ... that's your call, however ... After 2 seconds of searching online I found GvE currently selling on Amazon.com for...
$12.49
[u]-14.99[u] one month game time
-2.50
Any way you look at it -2.50 dollars US or Canadian is pretty affordable. If you get lucky you might find it for even lower as others have stated above. -
I'll echo the rest, another amazing work of art!
The facial expression with the mask reminds me a little of Alicia Silverstone as batgirl. -
Trouble sleeping and up at 3:00 am, happily I stumbled upon a link to this story. It's now almost 9:00 am and all I can say is Bravo !!!
Truly entertaining! The construction of the narrative and the excellent characterizations were very compelling.
I very much look forward to TCoSR2 -
*shrugs* Stuck in my head, all the personal attacks on the intelligence and mental stability of either side of the fence.

You want tempest in a teapot, In Game Advertising.
Weeks of teeth gnashing and name calling, it was very exciting! Some people left even before there was any clue how they would be implemented. (all what 2 adds that didn't even reach the entire playerbase)
I was really hoping they would name one of the ski runs "The slippery slope" and put billboards along the entire length.
Edit: (forgot to add sheep pens for anyone naive enough not to be gravely concerned) -

[ QUOTE ]
Don't play "evil", play misguided or that you "know" better on how to fix everyone's problem. Or an infiltrator on a mission of revenge against a villain that is part of Arachnos.
"Evil" is not simple or just meglomania.
[/ QUOTE ]
I tried the whole complex good intentions evil outcome thing ... still doesn't work for me.
Like I said I don't think playing evil is wrong, and it's harder to play evil well than good for the most part. I just can't relate.
I'm hoping that there are bases in COH. (and it sounds like there will be) -
I agree.
I don't like playing evil, never will play evil, and I don't understand people who like playing evil.
(I don't disaprove or anything as pretentious as that, just can't relate)
The only reason I would ever purchase CoV is if it improves the CoH gameplay in some important way.
