I didn't see Cimerora mentioned. I assume that Cimerora also plays a part in this, as the letter sender planted a letter there as well.
And we have yet to see who the master of Romulus is.....
EDIT: Saw a small mention. Still, can't overlook how Cimerora ties into this. -
Quote:Heh. Last year when Marvel VS Capcom 2 for Xbox Live/PlayStation Network was announced, it was staled "summer." People assumed June or July, and we didn't get it till August. Most people don't count August, as that is usually the month that grade-school and college students are returning to school. Some one said this about kingdom hearts BBS, which was slated for summer and now is confirmed for sept 7...
I hope that isn't the case....I won't have much time to play once the semester starts. (Which is in August) -
Quote:This.Well alot of Players either got bored and left for another MMo, I am Sure once Going rogue Comes, it's give our players more content to return form other MMo and back to us.
But, as long as new MMOs and console games continue to release, not everyone will be retainable. -
With the new temp powers in i17, I decided to make my fourth tray my "utility belt"
I had planned on making that entire tray full of Hand Grenades, only to remember that you can't duplicate a temp power that you already have until you use it all. -
Most people skip the following, so they might not have seen this.
When you are doing Stateman's TF, you come across a team of villains attempting their respec. Here is their following dialouge.
Rogue Isles Villains
Dr. Eva Lone: "Curse that Demon! I think this is the right way."
Sardonic: "Uh-huh?"
Dr. Eva Lone: "This is my mission! What are you doing here?"
Sardonic: "N00b!"
Contemptress: "Every one of you is an idiot!"
Misadventure: "Hold on. Gotta kill some weirdos. I'll call you back."
Comrade: "The only thing I like better than American rock-and-roll is killing heroes!"
Bad Penny: "TAILS AGAIN! I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE!"
Pyrelord: "Did you know that I like fire?"
Dark Sabaoth: "From the heart of darkness, I stab at thee!"
Dr. Eva Lone: "Sure."
Sardonic: "Have you ever done this before?"
Dr. Eva Lone: "Really! Plenty of times!"
Sardonic: "Ha! Right!"
Dr. Eva Lone: "These ruins aren't easy to navigate!"
Sardonic: "Then how come you're lost?"
Dr. Eva Lone: "The maps are incomplete!"
Sardonic: "That's why I'm downloading a map from the internet right now."
Sardonic: "Just let me be the leader already."
Dr. Eva Lone: "Never!"
Dr. Eva Lone: "This is my mission and I formed this team!"
Sardonic: "I'm blogging how much you suck right now."
Dr. Eva Lone: "..."
Dr. Eva Lone: "If you're so good, how about you take point to draw agro when we get to the tree?"
Sardonic: "Uhhh..."
Again, because most people skip this part (maybe because they are unwilling or unable to deal with 8 boss class Villians), this dialogue is somewhat unknown. -

I'm late to this thread, and I am yet another who disabled rep, mainly because I never saw myself ever getting any. (Not as popular of a forum poster I guess.) I have gotten some taken away the last time I looked.
It was a post saying the the stereotype of being a gamer and not having a girl just isn't true, and in some cases, downright unfair. Minus rep for that.
Another post got me some neg rep when I made fun of people who give it out for the most minor of infractions. (An incorrectly spelled word, using 5 instead of five, stuff like that.) I said that it made me laugh whenever people did that, and soon a neg-rep message came that I decided to put in my signature.
Oh well. Not everyone can get along and agree on everything. -
Shortly after Issue 7 went live......archvillains and Giant Monsters became near impossible to defeat, and for some reason, the supply of radiation Defenders and Controllers just dried up at the same time.
-
Speaking of vehicles in this game, the only way they'd be justified in my opinion is if each zone were the size of a Grand Theft Auto city, and had annoying traffic and pedestrians to match.
-
My villains are Chaotic Neutral, in the sense that they do whatever they feel like, regardless of morals. They lie to advance themselves, fight dirty, break the law when they feel like it, and pursue their own pleasures.
But, at the same time, they do not kill the innocent bystanders, do not murder rivals for no reason like Neutral and Chaotic Evil villains do, and would not betray any close friends.
This website here can explain it in better detail: http://easydamus.com/alignment.html

Quote:?!?!?!You people are absolute morons.
It's been repeatedly proven that threatening and inflicting bodily harm on an individual to coerce information will, above all else, result in the victim simply telling you what you want to hear in order to get the torture to stop. I respect and admire The Spy on a professional level, but you're putting far too much stock in the words of a man that was terrified down to his very toes. You wouldn't trust the word of a jury which had been threatened, so I see no reason to take the employee in this article so seriously.
The man needs counselling and support. He doesn't need his moment of weakness exploited like this. -
Quote:This.A link would have been better.
And that really doesn't confirm anything more than we already knew; they have the copyright on the CoH2 name and the tech and forum side of it. Wether anything is actually going to come of it is a whole different ball-game.
And it sure as heck ain't going to be soon, either, even if there is. -

All-Star Trolls.
It lasted a LOT longer than I thought it would. (Almost a year)
Statesman, I'm Calling You Out
This was a thread about a guy ranting and raving about how Dual Blades weren't heroic weapons, and should have only been given to villains.
Any post in the Stalker boards that led to an argument between Angry Citizen and TOTALITY.
I wish these threads were still available for viewing. -
The players who give you a rare recipe or millions of inf, for no reason.
I can't be all Larfleezy myself, so I do what I can to make someone else happy. (Gave a random hero in Atlas 2 HO's last night, but logged off too quickly to see if they noticed or said thanks.) -
It'd be hard to choose, but if I had to, it'd either be the Energy Blaster or the Invulnerable/Super Strength Tanker.

1. When I get neg-repped even though I have rep disabled. (It makes me laugh more than anything......you might as well verbally insult a deaf man.)
2. When griefers and trolls get banned.
3. When new people join the game, and when people who left the game come back. -
I'll play.
1. MA: It's a nice diversion from the main game. One of my characters became exclusively AE when it went live. I can see how the exploits were annoying.....you want a team to run a normal custom mission, and all everyone else wants to do is farm. Ugh.
2. Badges: Some for accolades, and just because I like having a large collection.
3. PVP: Ugh. Not in this game anyway. If I feel like some PvP, I usually only am decent in it when it refers to fighting games, such as Tekken 6, and tomorrow, Super Street Fighter 4. Gun games, not so much. PvP just doesn't work in this game, I'm sorry. -
April 28. Bah. Will be too busy with Super Street Fighter IV.

Necromancer
Necromancer has a supernatural ability to bring long-dead forum discussion threads back to life. After having been flogged to death the thread may have been deceased for many years, and bringing it back may have scant relevance to the current topic, yet Necromancer will unexpectedly exhume the thread’s rotting corpse, and strike horror in the forum as its grotesque form lurches into the discussion. The monster, instantly recognized by all who knew it in life, seems at first to breathe and have a pulse, but, alas, it is beyond Necromancer’s skill to fully restore the thread’s original vitality. The hideous apparition may frighten away some of the weaker Warriors or Warriors badly wounded in former battles, but the thread is only a shadow of its former self and very quickly expires. -
Why is it that I feel that the same old tilesets never bothered me?
Perhaps I'm just hard to bore?
