  1. Since pinnpvp.guildportal.com seems to have collapsed upon itself, new guildportal is pinnladder.guildportal.com.

I'll have matches and so on listed there, shoutbox and general discussion are up for anyone that wants to use them.
  2. First Snow Globe you are rawrsome for getting this posted on the forums.

I desperately want all the "Neu" badges on my namesake...can these be obtained by my hero by entering Praetoria somehow, or am I out of luck?

Already done! I had friends in Closed and liquidated a bunch of stock in LOTG 7.5, Miracle and Numina procs and turned it into PvP Ios and Purples, the purples will be hitting the Market as soon as GR hits live.

The costume recipe Merit costs are odd, as most are precariously close to being worthless on the Market, the notable exception being Rocket Boots and Tech Wings, which sometimes hover near the million or so mark.

Correct, but now your Scrappers and Masterminds can Hiber.

Also, Controllers get PFF don't they? There is some stuff changed but...nothing to the degree that would make zones closer to I12 levels.
  6. I'd try Freedom, Virtue, Infinity, Champion, Pinnacle in the late afternoons EST and evenings as well for some decent teaming. Try to join some of the badge/teaming channels...I know BMT of Champion is a good one (you'll need an invite, try @Cobalt Azurean for that), Cozmic's Playground on Pinnacle is another. Use the search tool to find people and send out some tells.

Next week, GOing Rogue launches so you might want to make some alts in Praetoria on your server. That zone is sure to be populated by new and returning players oohing and aahing over the new stuff, then deciding to head to one of the standard zones.

While you are correct that population ingame has dropped, there are still teams to be found on all servers if you leave yourself open and use the team-building and search tools.

    Welcome back!

I hate you for suggesting this. <3

Thanks for the update. So it looks like we'll be able to produce a LOTG proc or Numina proc every few days; purples and pvpios seem more efficient to obtain through Market play though.

Overall, this should help some hard to find procs and recipes to hit the Market. Items such as Shield Breaker procs, low level Basilisk Gaze and Cloud Senses come to mind...fairly happy about that. Respecs being sold is a nice perk as I've exhausted a fair amount of them in my gameplay. It will come down to whether I want to market, waste $10 or 10 Merits.

    Happy with this overall...
  8. Hahaha at Scrappers and Masterminds getting Hibernate. I mean, really?

On the other hand, my PvE Mind/Fire Dominator is going to LOVE Rain of Fire and Fireball...
Also, woot at getting a Miracle + Recovery every two days or so.

Can someone remind me whether I can start a Mastermind in Praetoria and work my way into Paragon City through the various arcs? This is key for my plans to world dominance...starting small in Atlas Park.

    Hey yall...

Top of the morning Mr. Z Bubba!

I trust your bad self will be melding into some shadows in the near future?
  10. Prizes:

    1st place team:

Two Nucleolus Exposures (one per player) red or blueside and 30,000,000 inf each.

    Finalists:

Two random recipe rolls (heroside) in your chosen range + 20,000,000 inf each.

    Random draw:

There may be a random draw for a door prize. Each participant will be tagged a number upon entry and after round two is complete, I'll do a draw. The lucky winner will get...something useful (not a Crap of the Hunter or whatever) but sekrit atm.
  11. My Warshade on Triumph, Casual Player, has just enlarged the sgbase of "Your Markettears, they are delicious" SG. Though she is only 25 (with appropriate casual blazer and slacks) someday she will have purple IOs...and of course I only play her an hour or two at most, per week.

Still, the money comes in...I must be ebil or something. =(

Gratz Organica on your spiffy new purpled out Warshade!
  12. Most of my heroes won't fall, they are too entrenched in their supergroups/communities to do so. Not sure which of my villains will be redeemed either, to be honest. I'm really going to need to see the badge/reward structure for switching sides first; as is, it seems easier to just start in Praetoria and go blueside with a Mastermind than it is to do all those missions with the side-switching.

Unless rewards are considerable, I'll just roll a new alt.

We challenge TWSS for entry into the Pinnacle Ladder.

Freakshow War, I think...gives 30ish Merits. It has a few defeat alls, some deliveries and some defeat boss missions. Yep 33 Merits for 8 missions, some of them 'stealthable' by only completing objectives.

If Amy's the brain who's Pinky?

    Good job Ash as always.

    This x 1000000.

As for gameplay, generally whatever will give me more Merits in a short time span, then fiddling around the Market to sell items in order to purchase desired items. PvP as much as I can then design costumes for my alts.

Eden Trial 39-41 heroside, starts in Eden, out of Founders' Falls heroside.
The scenery is gorgeous, the end fight is great and the journey to get there is quite fun. Sadly, the reward is low due to speed runs in the days of recipe drops, but still worth the travel.

    Hydra Trial, 38-40 heroside
. You can start this off in Atlas Park near the sewers. Swarms of Rikti, a big blob head of a monster you need high-tech guns to take down, generators to be subdued and don't forget the timer..

Ernesto Hess TF (needs to be unlocked by doing Lars Hansen content in Striga, unlockable through Ouroboros) 25-30. Starts in Striga Isle...the door missions aren't that great but the final fight sure is...especially the last few minutes of it.

    Statesman Task Force heroside
. 45-50. Starts in Independence Port. Lots of AVs, including Ghost Widow, Scirocco, Mako, Black Scorpion and the boss of them all, Lord Recluse. Bring a few debuffers/buffers for this one...

    Katie Hannon TF, 30-34 blueside
. Starts in Croatoa zone. Cool missions, short and sweet. Fight lots of witches and red caps.

    Redside:

    Lord Recluse Strike Force
: Starts in Grandville. Do this with an experienced team or you may be tearing your hair out in frustration at the final mission. Can be breezed in 25 minutes or can take forever and a day...you need to unlock this by defeating Recluse through a patron arc.

    Silver Mantis TF 20-25
: She's in Sharkhead now near the AE building...the last fight is very, very cool and you get to go through some previously unique hero maps on the way.

Ice Mistral SF 35-40: Starts in St. Martial Golden Giza, can be completed in an hour or so and the last map is quite cool.

    Mission arcs:

Viridian (45-50) redside...really a pain in the neck to unlock, but the cutscenes make it worth the while.

    Doc Buzzsaw (25-30 redside)
: She built a 5up4 fr34k! Earn the "Bling" badge before level 30, I believe, to unlock this redside contact.

Crimson - Operation World Wide Red (45-50 blueside):
Yeah, it involves a lot of Malta missions. Yeah, Malta are pains in the *** to fight...but the payoff? A BIG FREAKING ROBOT ATTACKS YOU in Founder's Falls after the Wildflower mission. Bring friends!

    Flux (Frostfire arc):
Heroside level range 9-13 in Hollows zone. Starts off with a few hunts and rescues and culminates in the Frostfire mission, with cool ice slides and a cut scene!

    Have fun!

Two more weeks and you might get your wish. Made for a 24-person raiding team...it will become routine at some point but should be fun off the start.
  21. Whoa, welcome back.

I'd gather you should hop into PinnBadges for the latest news; make sure you have Going Rogue purchased since that has the new stuff and the backbone for the forthcoming endgame.

Not much new in Pinnacle, a lot of the old gang is still around...
  22. Vanity pick: Garbo, just give her a Restoration and put her through the Ouroboros time machine.

Down to earth pick (heh!) : Shirley Manson of Garbage...

  24. Kins that Speed Boost you once then stop doing it afterwards...
People that join teams for long tasks then drop halfway in.
People that can't follow simple instructions.
  25. Signing up an old friend, who had some comments...

    Lost Woodsman 50 Axe/Stone Tanker
