PvPEC Presents: Lethal Lottery

Date: Wednesday, August 11
Time: 9 PM Eastern - Please show up early to register.
Location: Pocket D Arena
Host: @Neuronia, @Neuronium. Register with me in Pocket D by sending me your global and AT. You MUST stay on the same toon for the entirety of the match.

Format: Random Draw 2v2
Weight: SHW (47-50)
Match Duration: 10 Minutes
Match Options: Travel Suppression Off, Heal Decay Off, Diminishing Returns On.
Maps: Random. All maps will be in play.
Additional: Tier 1 Inspirations and Arena temps are permitted. One reset is permitted within the first 60 seconds of the match if a player disconnects. Sudden Death Mode does not count.

  • This event will consist of 4 preliminary rounds to determine four finalists.
  • Preliminary rounds will be 2v2 format with random partners.
  • New partners will be drawn after every round.
  • New opponents will be drawn before every round.
  • Scoring will be as follows: 3 points for a win, 2 for a tie, 1 for a loss.
  • In the event of odd numbers, one player will have a bye round. No player may have more than one bye round.


  • Partners selected for the finals will remain until a winner is decided.
  • Finals will be in a best 2 out of 3 format.
  • Ties count as a win for both teams.
  • Additional rounds may be played in the event of a tie.
Prizes: Each member of the winning team receives 1 Nucleolus Exposure and 30,000,000 inf. The finalists they faced will receive a random recipe roll and 20,000,000 influence each.

There will be a door prize drawn after round 2 is complete, so stick around!

P.S. I'm planning on participating, but I forfeit any prizes I might win to my partner if I get that far.

This event is very fun and can get extremely wacky due to pairings. For reference, I was in an event where I got to a semi-finals with a dual Emp line-up, while another had me teamed on a bubbler with a Stalker, haha.

Prizes:

1st place team:

Two Nucleolus Exposures (one per player) red or blueside and 30,000,000 inf each.

Finalists:

Two random recipe rolls (heroside) in your chosen range + 20,000,000 inf each.

Random draw:

There may be a random draw for a door prize. Each participant will be tagged a number upon entry and after round two is complete, I'll do a draw. The lucky winner will get...something useful (not a Crap of the Hunter or whatever) but sekrit atm.

Some awesome fights tonight. My high point total of 12 (4-0) wasn't enough to overcome sharkweek.

Congrats to Junior of Omega Factor and Dark Omega of Nites of Darkness on their stellar win.

Im sorry i couldnt make it til the end Neuronia. I hope i didnt cause too much of a headache nabbing 2 wins then bailing like that. Seems as though I was cutting it too close for the disconnect service on my internet, and i had to return my modem and HD dvr boxes before the office closed on Thursday. Good news is I made it to Cali in 1 piece. Ill be setting up and back ingame soon.

We have to keep the momentum going with regards to pvp. Im sure glad Neuronia stepped up as pvpec rep. now lets get some ladder matches going!!

Grats on your successful move Lite and Neuronia I just want to say thanks for hosting the event I feel it was a success we should do more events like that! Looking forward to whatever is up next!
