New players? Veterans players? Any players? I'm starting to recruiting process. Opening the doors for the Vg.
A here little about the Vg. Were currently rank #1 Villain side so being in Vg mode is not a problem. We have Teleporters to all zones that available on the redside. We have medical bay with the up grades. We have tables for crafting or storing. It's base raid ready. A good coalitions base. We use ventrilo and use a champion channel which good channel to lft or just have a chat. We provide influence assistance for loyal members. Were partner with a number rank sg on the hero side which we team and talk with. We farm, pvp, teams and etc. If you want more information or want a invite send me a tell or a message. Great home to start or for Rogue.

Elf I'm joining your SG if you run a CoP. However I'll probably end up running it blueside since that's where my main will be after the first day of GR.

CoP's not going to be a specific SG trial. It'll be like a normal timed trial that a team of 8 joins, with a choice of merits or Incarnate drops. IoP's are gone baby gone, the Incarnate drops will start whenever they get around to re-adding lvl 1 to the Incarnate abilities, or maybe when i19 hits...

It's not a specific all-SG task anymore, but the leader of each team has to be a member of the same SG that has a raid teleporter to get to the CoP map. It's like running the Silver Mantis used to be before they moved her outside. As long as the leader had a base with a computer to access her, you didn't have to be member of that VG to run it.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

No.

The Incarnate and associated items and perks are pushed back to Issue 19. There will likely be a Merit reward (volume unknown) and likely a badge, as trials outside Hamidon have these as well. Other perks may or may not emulate IoP buffs or may simply be a shiny of some sort.

Best to have a good group though, likely to be a frazzled bunch of PuGs trying to complete this.

I have fond memories of the original CoP Trial. When it opened a few of my SG explored and realised we'd never be able to take it down alone.

We dropped form the SG and joined AoV for the day. I remember it was so awesome because lots of other random and well-known villains had done the same, so for a while AoV was like the "who's who" of Champion villainy. It was the first time I met Bronx and I remember being teamed with him plus other good AoV players, tasked with taking down one of the cubes.

We did our part but sadly the other teams didn't fare quite as well so the trial had to be abandoned.

The next day it was closed and only a couple of SGs had managed to grab an IoP.

I really hope they find a way to bring the models for the IoP items back into the game, in some form or another. Those objects looked great, or at least I remember them as looking great...

There's a program called CoH Splasher that has an imagine of an IOP in someone's base...it randomly generates images that overlap your regular COX login and loading screens (no intrusiveness) and you can select the images you like.

Ah, pity it seems to be usable only in XP, but here are some screens...

Now the only one I've never seen is the Perfect Eye. I saw the One Book in person, and got my Master Thief badge taking down a regular one.

We fumbled through that Trial and got one with about 10 minutes to spare on our first try. I forget what the IoP actually did, maybe a 2% damage buff or some such.

I hope its more difficult then it was before. I think we spent maybe 30 minutes of major phail before finally figuring it out and getting our first IOP moments later. For a 2% buff for the ENTIRE SG that isn't nearly hard enough IMHO.

Just needs to be more of a challenge to get it. I want like herds of GM's, AV's, debuffs, earth crumbling fights!

Punch, punch, click, click just didn't do it for me.

Two more weeks and you might get your wish. Made for a 24-person raiding team...it will become routine at some point but should be fun off the start.
