In a perfect world with infinite dev hours to do everything they want it's a great idea. Who wouldn't like that? It'd be like voting against Mom and Apple Pie.

In the real world it just isn't the most efficient use of limited resources.

  4. my fave was when the magic store in Talos was obscured by a patch of rogue DA fog. It was so cool I thought they'd done it on purpose.

    Brilliant!
delete the junk (or vendor it if you're into that sort of thing), email the good stuff to yourself using the exciting new email system, bob's yer uncle.

    it ain't rocket science.

But yes, it's a great option to have!

Hope you love SO's, because you'll never be able to buy another recipe of hunk of salvage without the possibility that it was listed by a blackhearted, monstrous villain.

  10. Ryu!

Long time no see- welcome back to the Marketeer's Den!
  11. more on the 'low' end, but Triumph has been my 'home' server since the dawn of time. We're not the biggest, but we have a lower % of cretins than pretty much any other server.

    And Catwhoorg!

Oddly dropping the travel power has actually made him better then my other WP toon. Picked up stamina sooner then needed becuase of it and frees up two power slots for wiggle room on the build (don't have city traveler yet).
Yah I only turn it on for long distance slogs- part of his RP is that he gets around by leaping from rooftop to rooftop and not touching the ground (where possible). Swift, Hurdle and as many GotA + Runspeeds as I could stuff into his build (a bit of good timing- he went shopping for them during Meow Fever and got 'em cheap) means he gets around pretty well.

But Ninja Run made those annoying missions way out in the jungles of Nerva more bearable...

I find efficient characters fun to play and inefficient ones tedious, so not very far, usually.

I do have one 'RP' character, my ninja blade/willpower stalker, who I envisioned as a 'regular guy' with a sword. So no travel powers, and I tabbed WP as being the least graphically obtrusive secondary (this was before power customization- now it's totally invisible which is even better).

The concept didn't really impact his power level at all, it just made getting around a bit slower...and then along came Ninja Run. =P

OH GOD hadn't thought of that.

Now I am DEFINITELY taking the Goat "hero", with a special origin about how he's subverting Paragon City from within and paving the way for the Thousand Young of Shub Niggurath to erupt from Atlas' globe and devour all that is good and right.

I'm just hoping one of the new emotes is HIP THRUST so my prosthelytizing in broadcast will have an appropriate visual component!

What server does Alt-O-Holic call home, does anyone know? =P

    /edit
hey, someone should pick a server and start a Paragon City Villain Group for all of us who're just there for the markets but are still evil in our hearts. =D

  19. Offhand I'd say I'm Slightly Grimy Rich.

But I've started purpling out the Goat, so this state of affairs may not last.

also, we'd have a moon zone with a rocket pad in Steel Canyon, and a water blast set!

15 million is positively destitute in modern terms.

That's barely enough to BUYNAO a low level -KB IO.
  22. You're filthy rich if you can put up 20 billion inf to commission some MA arcs.

You're either the world's least able marketeer (in which case I refer you to the Market forum and the helpful stickied guide threads therein), or you have a problem with the truth (in which case I can't help you).
