With a 20% chance to hit, you are allowed no more than 8 misses in a row, so with 9 targets, you will get at least 1 hit.

Still is it long term better than say a Golgi in there... YMMV. My Fire/DA is slotted well enough to last a long time in fights without tapping out. Certainly could be useful if you can keep large groups around you.

1:5 chance for +11 end.
or 2.2 end recovered per target on average.
Even with end cost reduced to 18.4, you would need to hit 8-9 targets to "break even". As I recall the max targets for a PbAoE is 10 so you pretty much have to have a "large group" for this to pay off reliably.

Given that Blood Mandate is awesome, and you are red side, expect it be in short supply. Blitz a bunch of AE missions and roll bronze. Youll get 1-2 from the set per 20 rolls on average.
Might take a while, but its better than spending merits on them.

Unfortunatly I have the same problem but with uncontrolled outside sources.... namely her biological father. My teen-age step-daughter occasionally brings home.... a far more revealing outfit than what we (my wife and I) permit in our house. And since she is too lazy to do her own laundry, some of those items go "missing". =)
Got a bin full of stuff in the basement that she can have back when she leaves the nest.

IO Spec for recharge. Pony up for Decimations in your ST ranged attacks. Get AB going Perma (or really close). Grab Power Boost Up in your epics to make Fort + Manuvers = Soft Def Cap.

So I went to the store the other day and asked the manager if he had any Christians with stiff shafts left. He had 3 and let me have them at cost. So I took 'em home, waxed and taped them up and headed out for the night. I was sweat soaked and exhausted when I got home, but the Christian's performed well all night, especially in the corners. Good lift with minimal wrist action. Might have to go back and see if the manager can't special order me a few more.

On the contrary, this sort of thinking leads to the discovery of "hidden bugs". The OP should be rewarded for his/her efforts. It may not be game breaking, but it certainly will open alot of eyes on testing interactions like that.

Ultra Proud Father moment today:
My son is 6 and in the first grade. They were doing an assignment on what they want to be when they grow up and they had to draw it. My son wanted to be a soldier. So he drew 2 bases, each with a flag, and the guys fighting between the bases. The color of the bases..... Red vs. Blue.

My wife is not amused, but Im lovin' it. And for the record, he is on the Blue team.

Ive done a few arcs from this thread, and some of the stories are really good. I got some good feedback and comments from Mission Arch Monday on Champion and now that Ive made some tweaks to it Ill toss mine out there.. Enjoy. Or at least rate it.

Enemy Groups: Canidae Lupus (custom), Canidae Vulpes (custom), Mercenaries (custom), Banished Pantheon, Circle of Thorns, Devouring Earth, Uses Shadowhunter's Group, Snakes, and Requim's stock critters to fill out some groups.
Difficulty: While featuring lots of canines, dont expect too much smash and lethal. Tactics have been upgraded and the wolves get very strong in large packs. Challenge level 1 is a good workout, but damage resiliant heroes and villians can push it quite far. In large groups, higher challenge settings are not recommended as some stacking mez becomes really annoying.
Estimated Time: Anywhere from 15mins to about an hour depending on your abilities.
Description: The wolves have long since held the top spot on the food chain but a recent discovery has planted the seeds of rebellion in thier cousins' mind. Can you help the foxes throw off the oppressive rule or will the wolf always be top dog?

(Author's Note: 99.99% file size. I had to remove about a half dozen customs and some added events to shoe horn all the required elements into the arc. Some of the clues may seem a little light on text, but I had to strip everything down to bare minimums.)

Dont slot power thrust too much....early on.
Its a great path to KB mitigation with 4 slots if you cant get one of the other -KB IOs.

Lets go this way:
Cimoreans and thier -Def and Longbow with -Resist.

Cimoreans with -Def will eventually be at 95% to hit the resist capped brute, but the Def capped brute will remain at very low toHit chance because most +Def powers comes with DefDebuff resist. So there is little increase in damage to the +Def brute but almost double damage to resist capped brute.

Longbow with -Res wont hit the now Resist debuffed Def capped brute any more than before, so even if you -100% resist the Def brute, its only a damage doubler. Against the Resist capped brute, something as low as a 15% resist debuff is a 150% increase in damage taken. a 100% resist debuff is a 1100% (11x) increase in damage taken.

So its really contextual as to which is more effective. Without player debuffs, the Resist Capped will give you better milage, but when debuffs come into play, Def capped will perform better.

Sounds like an Invinc Speed run is out of the question then. =P

IF we all get Nukes and HVAS we would just do a Hami Nuke Raid =P.

Lose the Acro. If you are better off using IOs to get KB protection.
Lose Cloak of Fear. Its an end suck and youll get more milage from Oppressive Gloom.
Where is the Patron Pool? Mu (with ball lightning) makes an effective 1-2 AoE punch with FCS.
Lose Breath of Fire. Its less than impressive with a poor cone.
4 slots on attacks? Part of end mitigation with /DA is effective EndRedux in your attacks. Crushign Impact > Kin Combat. Those 5% recharges add up, and can make a difference with Dark Regen's long cycle time.
I had soul transfer.... then I got rid of it. I just wasnt dieing enough to make it useful =)

You can ignore the skeptics who diss Dark Armor. Its really quite good, but quirky. Its the jack of all trades master of none. Because you have some def and some resist, you can fill the gap either way with a single insp (purple or orange). Cloak of Darkness is great for stealthing and is superior Immob protection.

(And yes you can get MoLRSF with /DA. I know of at least one other than has done it as well)

Its really not that hard. Getting enough of the key types is the hard part.

Ill probably be there with what ever we need to plug the gaps in key personal.

You need more than a virus scanner, get Mal-ware scanner (Malwarebytes.org) and Ad-Aware (lavasoft.com). Once those 2 each give you a clean bill of health, then Post a hi-jack and dxdiag logs.

Also, the double router is a odd. Very odd. You should have a single router. The stacking routers each introduce latency.

Ill bring a blaster. Fire/Fire or Ar/EM .. .one of them.

Well I coached my first gorls softball game, and much to my father's amusement, I did not get ejected. (Seriously. He has a running wager that Ill get thrown out of at least one game.) The girls got smacked 22-6 but for those keeping score at home take this statistic to heart:
First 4 1/3 innings, zero walks issued, 8 runs (5 earned) given up. The score was 8-3 at that point.
Last 2 2/3 innings, 10 walks issued, 14 runs (all earned) given up.
Talk about the tale of 2 games. My pick for my starting pitcher was spot on, and Im willing to write some of it off as first game jitters, but its all about throwing strikes. 3 of our 6 runs came from runnigs being walked in. Oh well. We have a pre-game practice on Thursday to go over some key mental mistakes.

And I think I have set a new mark for things I never want to do again: I goaltended a hockey game in someoneelse's gear. I had finished ref'ing a game and was exiting the Ref Room when the team that was playing next was in a panic because they had no goalie. I was spotted and asked, to which I responded that I didnt have my armor with me. "No problem, we have gear just no-one to put it on." So I quickly donned some of the most funky smelling gear I have ever had the displeasure of wearing. Thank goodness its only spring, because I could tell it was sitting in someone's trunk for a couple of days. After posting the win, I couldn't get it off fast enough and home for 2 showers.
