Lost Curing Wand Bug

Here we have a little experiment I ran... since AE enemies do not count towards kill totals, and it runs like a Task Force what happens if you expend your Lost wand on Lost in test mode?

Your counter goes over on number cured... but the mission does not complete, the wand disapeared after 21 uses, and now if I want to ever enter the Midnighter Club my only recourse is to drop...

It's pretty much what I expected though I thought my cure total would be at zero... most people are not going to be silly enough to try this, but pretty interesting no?

make an official report on this. It might be worth a bug hunter badge.
I truly think you've hit upon something nobody even considered.

I did /bug it in game... probably not worth the badge though it's by no means game breaking; I could simply drop the mission. you saw that I have the cape mission in there, I was originally going to use my wand on that mish, but I thought this is way to fun not to test

Just a "by the way", you can get another wand simply by being on the team when somebody else turns in the salvage for theirs (unless that's fixed), and you can also gain access to the Midnighter Club without even finishing that mission simply by being on the team when somebody else talks to the Latin Student.

The last time we had that happen, people who had had the wand before only got one shot, with it disappearing from their tray after. If it's checking against "has finished mission" that should still be OK for the OP, but it might be something else.

A lot of things don't need to be addressed in advance now that we can drop missions. No way is this good enough for Bug Hunter.

On the contrary, this sort of thinking leads to the discovery of "hidden bugs". The OP should be rewarded for his/her efforts. It may not be game breaking, but it certainly will open alot of eyes on testing interactions like that.

[/ QUOTE ] Which is exactly why you aren't supposed to publicly announce bugs like this. The OP shared details on how to duplicate their results. Somebody might use that information to find a related exploit. That alone is grounds for not getting the badge.

Or just do the arc again through Ouroboros.
