Received Trustworthy badge over a month too early?

mmmmm delicious irony.
The badge is "Trustworthy" and you are wondering if you should be honest and report a possible problem with it?

Good point. I'll report this right away. I just didn't want to report it only to find out that it wasn't actually an issue at all. I'd hate to waste anyone's time.

Please waste the Devs' time on this...
Unfortunately there's been an ongoing problem with the Vet award system since it started where there have been various random people who have been getting their awards either many weeks earlier than they should or in some cases weeks later than they should.
My guess is that it only happens to a handful of people so the Devs have never really been sufficiently motivated to fix it. On the other hand the fact that they've let something like this fester for years is pretty sad because it undermines the basic confidence we players have in the system. It's hard to have faith in the concept when there are players who are getting these awards practically randomly.

I had a delay problem with my 42 vet badge on an account and petitioned and got it fixed in a couple of days. I wouldn't bother support for an early badge tho

Right because no one wants the Vet System to actually work as advertised. If it's OK for random people to get Vet awards literally months early now it should be OK for the system to give everyone all the Vet awards right now instantly regardless of how long anyone has played. Yep, seems reasonable to me. 
Sorry that it makes me weird that I'd actually like the system to apply the rules fairly to everyone. *shrugs*

Right because no one wants the Vet System to actually work as advertised. If it's OK for random people to get Vet awards literally months early now it should be OK for the system to give everyone all the Vet awards right now instantly regardless of how long anyone has played. Yep, seems reasonable to me.

First, I agree with you, a bug is a bug that should be fixed.
But 'fester'? 'Undermine the basic confidence'? I wager this is just a low priority low severity bug. If it's anything like my work, were I have bugs assigned to me that were logged way back in 2001, when they do a bug scrub they simply have bigger fish to fry.
I agree it should be fix. The lack of a fix, however, does not 'undermine my basic confidence' in the devs. That just seems like overly harsh language for a non-game breaking issue.

I started playing COH back at the end of March, however today when I logged onto my new lowbie villain and received the Trustworthy badge but none of the vet rewards associated with it. I'm fairly certain I'm not supposed to receive this badge for another 5 weeks. Will this affect my 3 month Vet rewards when I actually do get to the 3 month mark? Should I petition this in-game?
