    Manticore TF bug

    Im guessing that with MA they adjusted the level range of specific spawns and the type called out in the TF were now 40-50. Simple "oops" fix.

    Happens to me from time to time. Never had any problems with characters.

    If you think a rogue SG leader can cause havok, imagine a rogue GM.
  4. Lets see for the Clockwork we have:
    Emancipator for killing Psi Clock King.
    Knights Errent for preventing the Paladin construction.
    Gearsmsher for killing 100 Gears. (+ a Gladiator)
    Clockstopper for killing Babbage.
    And Synapse's Cohort for taking the Clock King down in the TF.

    Do we really need another Clockwork kill badge?
  5. Yup. We got all 9 in both waves. The first set actually got a few about 33% of the way across, but the second wave died very very fast (we were pumped and on a roll).
  6. Im not sure why, but my demo record are playing back in double speed. The 10min vidoes play in 5 mins... which makes the ship take downs go really fa Glad someone got a good video out of this. Ill muck with it more tonight to see if i cant get the timeing to play right.

    Given when we start Tanker Tuesdays (9pm) I wouldnt recommend it for that, but Im all for an ad-hoc all tanker Dr. Q. (FWIW, I average in the 4-5hr range for that TF).

    My connection is solid with just a few yellow spikes, but nothign sustained and no mapserv.
  11. You could have run just about all 6 of the signature TFs in that time. And died alot less.
  12. So far the decrease in the number of "Plz Fill" requests is all thats got me interested in i16. Thankfully there is still more details to come.... and hopefully its content related.
  13. The reason ragdoll is server side is because it determines the end position of the critter inquestion, and every player needs to see that critter in the same location. Effects do not change the location of anything and can therefore be handled by the individual clients.

    But we had Witty so we get a 30m handicap, so Im penciling in 1h11m. =)

    We had a very un-optimized 8-man team with over half not at 30, (2 at 25) when we started. The amount of bots hurt my Psi output and we had a solitary blaster to deal with continous 2-3 boss spawns. We rolled along fine, tho.. just a few deaths that were quickly rezzed.
  15. You are correct. When in full screen mode, other applications get idled when a new full screen app is foreground, even if on a separate monitor.

    You can force process to not idle in this condition by not allowing them to degrade priority (all normal or below-normal) under any condition. This isn't advisable because it can cause processor timing issues, but is possible.
  16. And all purple sets. They are good regardless of your exemplar level. Thus my caveat on Hasten. If you can get 3 Purple sets to 5 Slots for the +30% recharge, +Hasten, its up alot more often. (I solo Posi with a Mind/Rad troller so I also get AM up alot, which makes hasten worth it).

  18. 1. During Posi TF, the Abominations dont all start on thier feet, some are lying down. Nice touch.

    2. During Posi TF, the CoT are using alot more "poses" as well.

    3. During LGTF, if you lose one of the sisters, they run off to the nearest group and nuke. Very nice. (Helps them die faster).

    Little things I noticed that werent in the patch notes.
  19. It wasnt for lack of trying, it was lack of numbers. At our peak we had 38, and thats when the second bloom of yellows went down fast. We were back down to 34 at the start of the third.. and it was down hill from there.

    Bluntly, we need more people. More Brute/Stacker/SoAs for spike. More Doms for holds. All the EoEs in the world cant drop an Mito. People were hosping to save time because there wasnt much risk of getting locked out.

    Thats not to say we dont have a great need for them. Squid and myself have emptied our bins for the last few raids. I have 2 left.

    Also, Squid and myself had Bio nukes. That was it. Those are always useful to have for a boost to start the mito run.

    And I was able to taunt hami when the mitos were down to pull the AoE blast away from the base of Hami. It helped alot when people werent getting splashed with damage. 2 PainBringers + EoE >> Hami blast.

  20. Get to 60 months so you can take a travel power at 6, then Health at 14 slotted with Miracle: +Recovery. Sit on your 3 AoEs (Fball, FBreath, Psy Scream). FYI, Hasten, unless you have a good amount of purples, isnt worth it at level 15. It just isnt up enough with IO/SO scaling to DO level.
    Personally, Id go with Super Speed and Proc and -KB in it (though the amount of KB in Posi is low).
  21. Ive seen this a few times, but only when going between sides (red to blue or blue to red). If I stay hero or villian, no problems at all. Im guess its the amount of memory the game has to unload then reload between the 2.

  23. I've already formulated a plan for it as well. A plan so sneaky and devious you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel.
  24. Just imagine Atlas Park, already loaded with AE children, during an invasion. And the panic when some of them come out of AE into Atlas Park 2 and cant see thier buddies.

Lots of us are spoiled, making sure we have Rads or Emps on that TF, but it can be a real pain. We had a worse time running Katie TF with all tanks than we did running States TF with all tanks.

    Why would you run an all tank TF versus a massive bunch of witches where the majority of them have HURRICANE??
    Hurricane does a nasty to-hit/accuracy debuff.
    Melee toons always suffer trying to land a punch on a critter using hurricane.
    And you brought a completely all-melee team?

    Not to mention the fact you didn't bring anything to stop them flying off, control, debuff, buff, or do ranged damage for that matter?

    I could see the valid point for doing an all-AT team to do the TF. I like such super teams. But knowing that they have hurricane I would never take an all-melee team for this particular TF.
