Quote:The only decent episode from Galactica 1980 was the one that gave us the fate of Starbuck, about how he and a cylon ship went down on a barely habitable planet and how he rebuilt one of the Cylons and they became friends.I'm keeping my main badger on Infinity. I may move a couple 50s to Exalted, but, for now, I'm only playing new toons there.
Had to laugh at this. 5 minutes after logging into Infinity Tuesday night, and I start seeing tells for a BAF forming? Really? Not even going to try the UG?
There were good episodes of Galactica 80?
It was clearly remade in the relaunch Galactica series into the episode where new Starbuck and a Cylon Raider went down on that desert planet that made Tatooine and Arrakis look like a paradise by comparison and how she fixed up the raider and took it back to Galactica. -

Quote:Makes more sense to be a seedling then a bomb. This thread has info from someone who has gotten the badge since I21 went live. The wording on the badge has changed from bomb to seedling, indicating the seedlings the Avatar spawns, not the IDF bombs in the tunnel.

Beast Wars Season 2 had a scene in an episode where Rhinox and Inferno started slugging it out Rock Em Sock Em Robots style and it ended with Inferno's head popping up with a ding sound. Rhinox looked at Inferno quizzically for a moment then after Megatron knocked him out he pushed Inferno's head back down.

Quote:I work alignment and emp merits for the ones I need and yes one can rack up funds fast, but that 3% def is not worth the 2 billionMaking inf in this game is so easy that if you can afford it you might as well go for it. Not to mention there are ways to get everything that don't cost any money whatsoever. I didn't feel like heckling with people over an item that couldn't be bought on the market so I stealthed tips for 10-15 minutes every day until I had the merits for it.

I respec'd into my perm lightform build b4 ish 21 so that I wouldn't lose the freespec.
Anyway, so far Perm lightform has been great for me epsecially combined with S/L soft capped defense. Just need to remember to reactivate hasten like I did back in my old permdom days but no big deal.
One thing to watch out for: I'm seeing my Lightform stack up to 3 times which is cool.....until the first two stacks crash either simultaneously or back to back, either way you suffer the health/stamina drop from BOTH. I can easily heal but when it's a double whammy like that it's good to snack on a blue or two to ensure you don't stamina crash.
Granted I could shut off the defense toggles, but I like that defense
If I transform to either mode, S/L drops to 31% but that's a fair trade off for the firepower of squid or extra durability of Dwarf. Downside is hasten/lightform can only be activated in human mode. -
Quote:Probably but strictly speaking all the ghosts did shoot first.I would not be a bit surprised to see that someone's already made a fan-edit of this.
Peter sees slimer and is communicating with Ray when Slimer attacks and then we get the classic line: "He slimed me!"
Or towards the end when Gozer asks the infamous question: "Are you a god?" and Ray gives the wrong answer and they all nearly get blasted off the roof.
"Ray, when someone asks you if you are a god you say YES!"
"Well, let's say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of psychokinetic energy in the New York area. Based on this morning's sample, it would be a Twinkie... thirty-five feet long, weighing approximately six hundred pounds. "
"That's a big twinkie"
"tell him about the twinkie" "What about the twinkie?" -
Quote:I gotta be honest here, nothing in the game is truly worth 2 billion inf.Of course I got a bad deal. I knew that going in. Nothing is truly worth 2 Billion Inf + 2 Purples (one was a Ragnarok, can't remember the other). I think the going price for them at the time meant I gave about 2.5 billion for the Proc
But the character in question already had the Purples she needed/wanted, and I had several billion spread out among many toons... so I said, what the heck and traded for it.
And apparently, many others are willing to get extorted like this. That Gladiator Proc regularly goes for 2 billion on the Market, and if you look in the Inventions Forum, you'll see people advertizing to sell one for enormous prices - that's how I found my seller (the scoundrel haha). There's one going for 3 billion as we type.
However that 3% def proc....if I can build a character that is S/L softcapped, I'm not going to make a spot for that proc and work toward getting it. That extra 3% likely will not soft cap other defenses, and since regular soft cap is 45% and incarnate trial softcap is 60%, then that extra 3% for 2 billion isn't going to help much either. -
Alternativley, rack up Astrals and get the LOTG globals and sell them and build up funds.

I see this as part of celebrating Ghostbusters, showing it to a new generation of potential fans, plus us "old timers" that first saw it on the big screen can go see it again on the big screen. Also as a way to get people talking about Ghostbusters for when they start showing previews of Ghostbusters 3

First time I joined a Seed team the badge dinged. Had to wait for a second seed to finish the badge for all it's seedlings.
/bug it justin case, but you may also have not met the damage criteria. -
Quote:No, not false as that's mean. Let's just say some fine tuning is required. The Known Issues announcement
Is false.
Costume bundles, any costume pieces, auras, emotes, or powers associated with said packs are SHOWING a buy button even if you have bought the entire pack before:
Booster 1: Technology
Booster 2: Magic
Booster 3: Super Science
Booster 4: Martial Arts
Booster 5: Mutant
Going Rogue: Basic
Going Rogue: Complete
Good vs Evil
Origins Pack
Mac/Valkyrie Pack
Steampunk Pack
Vanguard Pack
Wedding Pack
Edit:
I don't own the Animal Pack, so I can't verify that this also suffers from the same problem, but I do have every one of the above.
The ONLY things from Going Rogue that have removed the buy button are "Access to Praetoria" and the "Alignment System". -
Have you just leveled to 50 on Exalted? Feel free to announce it here! Name, AT, and powersets would be fine.

Quote:Yes you must revert to human to trigger lightform again. Unless they made a last minute adjustment so that you can activate lightform when transformed. The new Light Form will carry over into Nova and Dwarf, won't it? I don't use them, but I read something about that. If so, would you have to revert to Human to reactivate it?
My perma-Light during Beta was also without Hasten (or purple IO sets). It's definitely doable. -
Quote:Quite true that New Lightform wont mez protect like it used to and yes having a break free can be beautiful....but I'll still have the tray button on all my Khelds that transforms them to dwarf mode as they pay tribute to Jack King Kirby by saying the magic words "Gone! Gone, the form of man! Arise the Kheldian, Kheldigran!"Yes, Lightform won't mez protect as well as it used to, but then, I didn't use it except in emergencies so I'm used to that...and it's not like you can't have a breakfree handy most of time.
The builds I've worked out still retain squid/dwarf. Both are mules for IO sets, but both could still be used. These builds are to have permalight form and good defense in human form but still retain the forms for those that like to transform so one could transform to dwarf mode if the mezzing gets too severe. Yes they will need to reactivate certain defense powers after reverting to human but they should hopefully be in a safe spot to do so.
Also I have worked out the second build where one can be perma lightform without hasten. S/F defense drops to 44% and Melee defense to 37%, other defenses will be lower then those of course. Also those defense numbers are WITHOUT the Gladiator armor 3% def proc installed, so if one can afford that they can boost their defense a bit. -
Normally I don't get too sentimental when a celebrity passes on, but he was one of my favorites. 88 yrs is a good run and he had a fine career.

Quote:All the better that we can have 3 builds per character. The second question should be: is it worth it? People seem to think so, but after playing a perma-Light, I found that I preferred my current build on Live. I'm not saying anything against it, just that sometimes it might look better on paper.

Quote:My build has 87% recharge from IO'sets, 2 slotted hasten, and T4 Spiritual Core Paragon and 2 rechargers plus some resistance boosters in LF.tl;dr
Bare minimum for perma LF should be three slotted Hasten, 150% global recharge, and ED capped recharge in LF itself.
Unless I did a misread new LF will have 300 second recharge and 90 sec. duration, what I've got will take recharge below 90 seconds -
Quote:The build I've designed has perm hasten/light form and softcapped S/L defense while in human form. Squid is retained but is mainly a mule for two rectified recticles in the nova power itself and it's beam attacks have only procs installed, no extra slots. Dwarf is both a mule for IO but would be functional in battle. Transforming to either mode drops defense for S/L to about 30% and reverting to human form will mean reactivating certain powers to restore full defense. OR simply remember the forms are mules and do not transform.Excellent that changes things..
Now I just need to figure hout how much recharge it needs to be perma.. Guess ill be going for that Spiritual Alpha for sure now.
it is a tradeoff, the physical durability of dwarfmode augmented by lightform with lower defense or the firepower of squid with lower defense, or remain in human form for balance of resist/defense and attack powers. Egads as I sit back and think about this, I realize I just basically built Ultraman Tiga.
I'm trying to design a defense capped perm lightform human form only but so far that's still in the proto design phase.
Alpha is T4 Spiritual Core, 5 LOTG recharge boosters, 2 slotted hasten and assorted other IO sets only one of which is purple, the +3 def proc from the PVP set is not in this as I don't like spending 2 billion for an extra 3% defense, but I'm funny that way. I'll see about posting the build later.
Perm lightform without hasten? Possible but defense would likely take an unacceptable drop as well as require at least 3 purple sets, still working on that but not sure I'd want the defense drop.
