it's hardly april fools if it's an idea. April fools is like someone telling you that a sequil to your favorite lost game has been announced or a remake of an awesome game like spyro 2 has been announced, not telling people you have a really good idea and then going "april fools!!!" cos they would just be like WTF you wierdo =S
Therefore i conclude that you fail more than City of Sidekicks did for me -

You could have a gym, in which you could test your final build.
You would be able to create yourself a build with all the chosen enhancements and accolade bonuses you want on your end build for that char. You would be able to upload it into the gym to test it.
The room could be a room of your descided design and shape whatever. In this room you would have controll over spawning enemies, enemies which could be from cannon or custom. The enemies would give no rewards and would be for testing purposes only.
This would help people descide what they want and would stop people creating builds that end up not working how they want them to and leading to them wasting loads of inf, which in turn would help the market by making more stuff avaliable as people would not use as much. -
Maybe not have a failed mission, as if it comes up with mission failed when you exit, but as the story is written to not go to plan.
A good idea for this could be done in MA, you could have a save ally which was set as a minion and had a taunt aura so it was precariously hard to save them, but if it could be set so when they are defeated a new task was set then that would be the cherry on top =) -
Shadow = Not evil, good. Becasue of his lost memory he was like a blank slate and was swooped up by robotnic from since he can remember giving him a violent and relentless nature. but deep down his heart is in the right place, but every time he realises his memory is once again lost. It is currently not known whether or not the true shadow is still alive, if the current shadow is a robot clone, or if shadow was even a real person to begin with. Shadow is one of my favorite Sonic characters mainly for this reason, and for his change of heart at the end of Sonic Adventure 2 so he could save humanity.

That guy sounds like such a noob.
First of he said, "brute..." not using your charicters name therefore being an idiot as he sees you as an object rather than another person with a mind and everything (magical isn't it)
Therefore, you should have turned arround and said
"my names #, not brute. I don't have taunt, i don't play my brute like a tank and if your not happy with that then you can jolly well 'quit the team' and spend your time learning about this game you obviously know nothing about!"
that would have shut him up and gotten that annoyance out of your hair =) -
To me it just looks like the female upper body model has accidentally been given the male upper body texture. maybe not accidentally but if so this wouldn't be hard to add to the game obviously =)
However.. i would never use it, i don't even use the ripped male upper body let alone a ripped female D= the horror of it all -
and from the picks i've seen you're doing a pretty damn good job. you and the Art Team deserve lots of cake, jelly and ice cream =)

Releasing the Box set to the EU, and maybe putting the going rogue trailer up on EU TV could boost the EU player base by a huge number, i believe if it had the right support, with going rogue CoX could be a contender with the other big MMO's in the EU like WoW.
So why not even bother to try and boost the player base, they have just given up before they even started, which i think is pretty pathetic personally...

Cheers War Witch for loving Europe so much /e thumbs up I persoanlly can't see any good reason why they wouldn't even ship the box to the EU concidering over 50% of new subscribers must come from people who buy the game from a shop where they can actually see what they're getting, rather than edgily typing their credit card details into a wed site and downloading (viruses AHHH) the game from the internet, which as we all know is such a loving a reliable tool. -

I'd be sooo up for this, on my scrapper.
However ill probably be working so would have to come arround 4:30 5ish unfortunately unless we push it back a week then i should be able to get the day off, but seeing as im saying this kinda late i don't mind turning up late. think i have some essence lying arround somewhere... -
Raising the cap would raise prices not lower them. people would farm even more and whatever they change the cap to would be how much the PVP IO's would end up selling for. If they removed it altogether then those same IO's would probably be going for trillions which is something we should not need to have to deal with!
Getting 2billion is hard enough unless you play the market or constantly farm +4*8. I personally don't like either of those things and am struggeling with money on my lvl 23 villain as it is, because of salvage prices for common IO's.
I like the cap where it is, and anybody who complains that it's too high, try defeating enemies to get the salvage/recipies you want instead of just sitting on the market. That way you get experience with the best way to play your set rather than just racking up lots of set bonuses on your blaster, jumping into a +4*8 mob and then wondering why you died so quickly.

Yeah but by this idea people would sit arround for hours raking up he merits for just one TF!
One way you could look at the merit scheem. If a team manages to finish the TF/SF really quickly then they get the same merits as a reward for being fast, if they spend ages on a TF then they get punished by only being given that ammount of merits. It works and nothing needs to be changed =)

To me this thread looks like a pointless way to bash people who are supposedly getting more rewards than you, i appologise if i'm wrong here but i think it's time you stop trying to ruin the game for other people. this aspect of the game you are wanting changed is perfectly fine and doesn't need changing as there is nothing unbalanced about it, because if there was then something would have been done about it by now, and concidering the opposite happened, i can therefore conclude that there is nothing wrong with this at all. =) -

countless times have i found it easy to fight -1's and then faceplanted multiple time when i got to an even con mob. i put -1 so i can wittle down mobs that are too hard so if i do faceplant then i will be able to go back to a smaller mob the next time. when you face even cons it's sometimes hard to get more than one down before you plant!! -
code wouldn't be too hard, just have a power which only allows scrappers to be targeted, similar to how you can't attack friendlies. then add mag 50 knockback to it.
that should just about do it =)
oh and for us scrappers, we should get a click which increases knockback res to 100 and then makes us to DoT to the one who tried to throw us untill they have 1hp left, just for a little revenge tactic =) -

I had an ElM/ElA brute but i deleted it and remade it as a scrapper when those sets were ported over. I found it too hard to generate enough fury with only aoe attacks and my survivability wasn't good enough to keep me alive long enouhg to see a descent change... well most of the time anyhow.
currently i have the one brute. FM/SR and it's awesome! it's only lvl 15 or so but the survivability from SR is very noticeable, it's quite low with only 19.5 def ranged 14 def melee and no def to AoE, but it's still brilliant.
And Fire Melee is a beast of a set, it mowes through everything with no effort what so ever. End is a bit of a problem atm but thats to be expected at lvl 15 with no slotting =P -
NOOOO!!!!! The last thing i want in this game is a Sims addon. I don't care if my superhero doesn't have a gf, their a frekkin superhero, and all this would really do is give oppertunities for desperate pervy guys to make lesbian superheroes. It's not fair to give lonely people an easy way out so they can wollow in their own self pitty.
Also if you can't find a girlfriend... Do something about it!! if you want a can give you a link to a good forum whihc will give you all the help you need to get yourself on track to a better love life, and no it's nothing to do with porn...

make 2b the max possible bid or reduce it to 1b, and raise the inf cap to maybe 4/5b that way the most expensive recipe won't be all your money gone.

dude, why don't we just all aggree that getting a WS/PB to 50 is the 'medal of honour' so to speak, that you strive for.
every nwbie to the game is amazed by khelds the first time they see them.
but even after a good 2 years i still think it is awesome when i see a lvl 50 WS/PB because it takes a lot of work and game experience to get a WS/PB up to 50. that my good ladies and gentlemen is your prize! -
I would reeeally like to solo a GM would be an amazing achievement. My best bet would probably be on my unfortunately only at lvl 15 Fire/SR brute. dunno if a Fire/WP scrapper would be any good at surviving a GM becasue of the lower than softcap defenses.
Which GM's have the least fire res??? -
how about only add extra powers to offensive sets? things like buff sets, defensive sets could not have extras.
however i'm not too keen on this idea tbh, would be nice to have more variation in sets but not sure what the best way to implement that outside of animations and colour would be -

The devs once said that they would no longer create either villain or hero specific content. well, with going rogue, adding hero or villain specific data would be adding data to the whole game. take advantage of that.
I'm really hoping that with Ultra Mode the skies and streets of the rogue isles and paragon city wont be so dreary and horrible anymore.
However i'll probably just spend all of my time over in praetoria after going rogue is released because of the landscape of it all.
Ps: Hey devs!!! i18 Going Beautiful. a massive re-vamp of the rogue isles and paragon city without changing any contacts or the layout of the zones. Also adding a few more zones to the rogues isles and making a few others coop would be pretty sweet. (vill side shadow shard!)
